Well as you are now most likely aware, Michael Jackson died today at 50 after going into cardiac arrest…

I was surprised to find that when I did a search on “Michael Jackson Dead”, I saw an IM’er actually trying to profit off this with an adwords ad saying  “Should MJ Go To Hell?” then when you load it up it’s some site linking to a CPA offer saying to vote ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on it and you can win a free Wii…pretty messed up, but it’s gone now.

I was a big fan of MJ back in the 80’s and it’s sad that Michael Jackson is now gone.. the world doesn’t feel the same without him around…It was hard to believe that he was actually dead even when reading about it. Even now it seems unreal, he was so young…

Well, back to my business, today I got another 2 sites done…I decided to count up how many sniper sites I now have and found that I now have 77 O_o.

As I answered in a previous comment from Bruce, I began creating these sites around the end of March, but I really started creating them en-masse around the end of April(2 months ago).

As a result, my income jumped from $622 in March to $795 in April (12 sales from sniper sites), then again to $1,051 in May (17 sniper sales totalling $417).  For the month of June, the # of sniper site sales looks like it is going to be 2.5x what it was the previous month..I’ll wait until the end of the month before I post stats.

I’ve now got 2 more sites to build before I finally venture into new keyword terriotory..  I much prefer going after new, fresh keywords than trying to rank again for the same keywords…It will be interesting to see how these .net and .org sites for the same keyword perform in a months time when they’ve had enough time to age and gain backlinks..

Ok so today I got yet another 2 sniper sites done, I’ve now got 4 more left, so I’ll be done by Friday.  After these sites are done, I’m going to go promote them all through UAW, considering I’ve got 23 to build backlinks to, at 5-6 a day, it’s probably going to take me 5 days.  Once I’m done that, I’ve got another load of keywords to turn into sites in this niche…

It’s going to be a bit of a gamble with these other keywords since the product I’m promoting only offers a solution to these people’s problems as a side bonus booklet…This is the case for 15 of the 28 newly registered domains.

For the other 13, they’re not particularly buying keywords, however in the Google Keyword Research Tool, the green advertiser competition bar is more than 1/2 full for them…it will be an experiment…I’ve gone after similar non-buying keywords in this niche before and wound up converting 1:300…The better keywords in this niche convert 1:180 or 1:200…So worst case scenario, I’ll just be seeing more 1:300 conversions, which is fine by me considering there’s a lot of potential for traffic here.

Today I had some job related business to take care of, nevertheless I managed to take that content I created yesterday and put up the site in this new niche.  I’m planning on putting up around 20 more sites in this niche as thats how many keywords I’ve found thus far that seem decent.

It seems like a bunch of my sites in my main sniper niche that had been hovering between the bottom of page 1 and top of page 2 are now rising and getting more hops due to either time or more likely the UAW submissions that are going on…as a result, I’ve seen a SIGNIFICANT increase in the number of hops registered for today.  Clickbank for some reason doesn’t count the end of the day until 3am ES and because I’m going to bed a bit earlier these days, i won’t be able to give you the exact hops or even sales for the day(if more by chance come in).  But I can tell you that last I checked, my total hops for the day was *511*!

It’s crazy!  Back on April 6th or so, near when I started this site I had only about 90 hops for the day, I’ve now increased that number 5x in 1 month!

By the way, today was another insane day for sales, I got 4 Clickbank sales for a total of $96.10!  2 of those sales came from 1 of my 4 sites in the main sniper site niche that targetted a product name as the keyword…that site is ranking #3 on page#2 of Google, it’s only gotten 2 hops yet it has gotten 1 person buying both the regular item and the upsell (hence the 2 sales).

Man, I’m just blown away by how easy it is to get hops with this sniper method…

Earnings For Today:

• $96.10 in CB Sales – 2 Sales for a sniper site in the main sniper site niche (combined total = $49.96), 1 sale for Site#1 = $26.38 and one sale for a sniper site that has been ranked #1 for the last few days = $19.38 … This sniper site is getting 10-15 hops a day, today it got 18 hops out of 56 visits(according to AWStats)  ..this same site got a sale 2 days ago as well.
• Adsense = $6.16
• Total for the day = $102.26
• I’ll report tomorrow on the total number of hops/sales for today if it changes as it’s not yet the end of the day

Wow…today was a first for me in a few ways!  For one, I was FINALLY able to get a sale out of Market Health, I couldn’t believe it when I saw a sale in there!  I mean, for the whole of this year I’ve sent 434 hops to 3 of their programs and now I just finally got a sale..albeit for $15.

Aside from that, I’ve noticed that ever since I’ve switched products in the troublesome niche, I’ve been getting sales, in fact, I just got ANOTHER sale for this niche today, which makes 3 sales in the 5 days I’ve been advertising the new product.  The conversion ratio is around 350 hops / 3 sales, so around 1:115…I’ve also noticed that the sites that got the sales actually had pretty good ratios:

1. 29 hops/1 sale

2. 18 hops/1 sale

3. 20 hops/1 sale

The rest of the sites have yet to go over 54 hops total so I decided to lay off revamping the sites.

Another reason I decided to not revamp is due to the promising results I’ve noticed for my latest new sites.  The 2 sniper sites I made yesterday both got quite a bit of hops since going live, 9 and 10 hops for the day…1 of them I just checked a moment ago has now moved to #1 for it’s keyword!  It wasn’t there earlier today…this is a keyword that gets 6.6k searches broad/5.4k phrase/1.9k exact (according to the Google Keyword Tool).  It will be interesting to see how it does tomorrow…The other site that got 10 hops isn’t even on page 1!  It’s #4 on page 2 for a keyword that has 3.6k for broad, 2.9k for phrase and 2.4k searches for exact match.

Another first for me today was that I got *219* hops for the day!

Earnings For Today:

The biggest surprise of all today was that I made $105.47 from 4 sales today in Clickbank!  3 sales for Site #1 at $26.38 each and 1 sale for a sniper site in the troublesome niche(which isn’t too troublesome anymore) for $26.33!

Considering I made $15 in Market Health and $6.40 in Adsense that makes for a grand total of: $126.87.

This is the most I’ve ever made in 1 day.

After all these results, I’ve decided to continue with making new sites…The only thing I need to do now is find more keywords to make sites out of, I’m kind of low on keywords right now.

BTW, as far as what I got done for today, I created 1 more sniper site in the same niche as the 2 sniper sites from yesterday and I began doing some keyword research for future sniper sites.

Well, I had a talk with George (George Montagu Brown of Google Sniper) again and he had mentioned that some of my 2 word  keywords might not be good but others he didn’t see a problem with…He suggested I needed to presell them, something I hadn’t done enough of for these 22 sites.  I took a departure from my normal routine of telling a story as George had suggested for these sites…I structured it more like a blog post by giving them what they’re looking for then finishing it off with a talk about how the product does it better..the gamble doesn’t seem to have paid off.  Additionally for this niche I did not include the about me section so it looks like some revamping is in order, especially since this is producing so many hops.

Some good news today though…I got another sale from one of the 22 troublesome sniper sites for $27!(this was from one of my sites that was a 2 word keyword btw)..  The only thing is my hop to sale ratio right now stands at 245 hops / 2 sales(much better than 500/0), so what I’m going to do is go over my sites and revamp them a little and make them more like my other sniper sites that have been doing better.

BTW, I do have 2 products I’m promoting in place of the old one that wasn’t converting.. the product I mentioned above is doing well, however I have another product at 127 hops / 0 sales…this product is being advertised for the 2 word keywords that George thought weren’t good.

Hopefully I can get these 22 sites to convert a bit better, so far since I made the change of products, I’ve had 2 sales for $27 each in 4 days time, that’s one sale every other day if this keeps up which would mean +$400/month (here’s hoping).

Aside from this, today, I created 2 more sniper sites in a totally new niche.  One of the sites I made in the afternoon and it ended up being indexed sometime in the evening.  I went back to that site and posted up my final post which is the review for the product, this site has gotten 2 hops for today.

I have 1 more domain in this new niche to make a site out of and I’ll be doing that tomorrow along with revamping some of my sites in the troublesome sniper site niche.

Hey everyone,

So today I FINALLY got the last 2 sites in this niche completed…that makes for 22 sniper sites in this 1 niche…Each sniper site covers a keyword that has either 5k searches per month(phrase match), or 12-15/k searches a month(although there are a few that are in the 20-22k range).  For the sites that are now indexed, they are ALL ranking on page 1 of Google somewhere.  They’re now all generating about 50 hops a day it seems(yesterday it was around 45, today it is at 55).

Now 1/2 of these keywords are not too targeted because they are only 2 word phrases, however the other 1/2 are targeted 3 word phrases.. The overall total of hops generated so far by these 20 odd sites is now 404 hops/0 sales(about 25 of those don’t count as it’s me clicking, so I suppose it’s 379 hops).  I took a screenshot showing all the hops I’ve gotten from April 12th to May 11th to shed some more light on this…have a look (everything boxed in red are tracking ID’s for the high hop/no sale niche):

Now around 379 hops and no sales is pretty crazy, but when it’s spread out amongst all these sites like this, it doesn’t look QUITE as bad…What do you think about this?  Is it too early to say the keywords are no good?  It’s kind of frustrating seeing you have double the hops but no real change in income :/  BTW, you can have a look at my more successful sniper sites in there and what they’ve made in this past month.

I went out and saw another movie today, Star Trek, it’s 8.6 on IMDB and currently #82 on the Top 250 movies of all time right now and man, that was an AMAZING movie….it was seriously packed and we came in 1 hour before.  There were some, “interesting” characters at the front of the line, they were sitting on the floor as if they camped out there or something.

The movie really tried to separate itself from the old Star Trek mold, they tried to re-invent it…It didn’t feel like any of the previous Star Trek movies but it worked out well.

Well, I’m back home now and just finished up another Sniper site (2 for the day), so that makes 35 total Sniper Sites done to this date.  I’ve now got 18 of them in 1 niche…I’ve also got 4 more domains in this niche I’ve purchased so that will make for a total of 22 sites in this niche.  Today this niche got me 35 hops, so the counter is at 245 hops/0 sales.

Let me give you a breakdown of where these sites are ranking, what the search traffic is for the keyword and how many hops I’m getting:

One of my sites in this niche has been generating 10-13 hops a day since it reached #1, the term has 6.5k searches for broad and 5.5k for phrase…it is a 3 word keyword.

Another site I have is ranked either #2 or #1 is getting 5-7 hops a day for a term that has 22k searches for broad and 12k for phrase..it is a 2 word keyword..it seems strange that this keyword that’s supposed to have so much more traffic is not pulling in as many hops….both sites are getting a similar amount of traffic, they’ve both gotten around 125 unique visitors for the month.

A lot of the other sites in this niche have search numbers that fall into those same categories, but don’t rank quite as high.  The sites instead rank around #5-10 on page 1 of Google and bring anywhere between 1-5 hops a day.

Some more data: I have another site in a separate niche which gets around 10 hops a day at #1 yet it only has 3.6k searches for broad and 2.9k for phrase match.

It’s hard to make heads or tails out of all this data sometimes…
