OK, so it&#8217;s that time of the month again, time to analyze the income totals and find out how much I made!  I&#8217;ve noticed something really strange when comparing the old vs the new analytics in Clickbank:

<p>OK, so it&#8217;s that time of the month again, time to analyze the income totals and find out how much I made!  I&#8217;ve noticed something really strange when comparing the old vs the new analytics in Clickbank:</p>
<p><strong>Old Analytics</strong></p>
<p>15 refunds($292.53)</p>
<p>3 chargebacks($76.95)  &#8212; chargebacks take money out of YOUR pocket, so if you made 1 $25 sale and got a chargeback, your balance would be -$25!</p>
<p><strong>New Analytics</strong></p>
<p>10 refunds($169.03)</p>
<p>0 chargebacks!</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not complaining about that!  But the oddities don&#8217;t end there&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>Old Analytics</strong></p>
<p>Approx 16,550 Hops for the month (+2,500 hops over last month)</p>
<p><strong>New Analytics</strong></p>
<p>8,634 Hops O_o !?  1/2 the hops practically!<strong> </strong>This changes my conversion rates significantly as well&#8230;My average hops per order in the new CB Analytics is 102/order vs 196/order in the old CB analytics<strong>.</strong></p>
<p>Now, as far as how much income I&#8217;ve made, here&#8217;s the breakdown:</p>
<p>84 Sales (vs 76 total last month)<br />
10 Refunds (vs 5 total last month)<br />
74 NET sales</p>
<p>Gross CB Sales = $1,933.47 (vs $1,844.57 last month)<br />
Refunds = $169.03<br />
<strong>NET CB Sales = $1764.44 </strong>(vs $1,740.27 last month)<strong><br />
</strong></p>
<p>Now in addition to that I have some additional income to add on:</p>
<ul>
<li>1 Sale from this site for $26.80</li>
<li>Adsense = $143.83 (+$9.98 over last month) <strong>**EDIT : $16.53 in Hubpage earnings, $1.27 in Infobarrel earnings**</strong></li>
<li>Now here&#8217;s a surprise&#8230;I hadn&#8217;t been checking my Ebay at all because I didn&#8217;t expect much from it&#8230;I did report I made around $38 earlier this month, but it seems like I was way off..I don&#8217;t know how I was misreading it, but I was&#8230;I had another look via reports and this is what I found:</li>

<p>1 sniper site with Ebay on it got me 4 sales this month:</p>
<p>2009-07-05    Winning Bid (Revenue)    24.58 (from a $347.15 purchase)<br />
2009-07-10    Winning Bid (Revenue)    51.26 (from a $1376.26 purchase)<br />
2009-07-28    Winning Bid (Revenue)    2.5 (from a $20.52 purchase)<br />
2009-07-29    Winning Bid (Revenue)    1.32 (from a $10.76 purchase)</p>
<p>***EDIT : I thought that was all my income, but it seems like this revenue is then split between Ebay and me and I&#8217;m left with $40.45, which is 1/2 of the total($80.89)***</p>
<p>So, adding everything together, the <strong>NET TOTAL</strong> for July is&#8230;. ***<strong>$1,975.51*** (+ $101.39 over last month)<br />
</strong></p>
<p>I was hoping for a bigger increase, but part of the reason is I switched over to a new method of making money where results aren&#8217;t as instant (Hub building)..</p>
<p>Now for the fun of it, here&#8217;s a look at some of the new CB analytics for my account:</p>

<p>Now as far as what I did today, I spent a lot of time familiarizing myself with Niche Devil&#8230;There was a bit of a learning curve, but once you have it figured out, you can pretty much create a new site in 15 minutes, it&#8217;s crazy!  The only question is, will the .info&#8217;s rank well?  So what I did was I put up 9 .infos and I also put up a .org for one of the same keyword as the .info&#8230;.I put up the .info&#8217;s earlier in the day and a lot of them are now indexed however they are not ranking&#8230;I just put up the .org about an hour ago, so it will be interesting to see which ends up ranking first, the .org or .info (the .info has had a head start, but it&#8217;s pretty much a shoe in for the .org I&#8217;d say..)</p>
<p>There&#8217;s more I want to mention about what I did today, but I&#8217;ll leave it for tomorrow&#8217;s post.</p>

<p>Today when I checked though Iwas surprised to find I had $128 sitting in my CB account from 5 sales!  Then&#8230;about an hour later I got another sale bringing it to $148.88!</p>

<p>One of the sales came from a sniper niche that I entered that had not produced any income for me&#8230;I had basically written it off, but it finally brought in a sale.  I also got 2 sales from sniper sites I built within this last month.</p>
<p>Now aside from that, today was also a good day for me with Adsense, I brought in $12.34 there&#8230; only a small chunk of that was from Hubpages/Infobarrel though.</p>
<p>Today I put up 30 Infobarrels, I&#8217;m going to have to put up 10 more to get the total up to 80, which I&#8217;ll do tomorrow.  Once that&#8217;s done I&#8217;ll be at 160 Hubs/80 Infobarrels(all Hubs will be backlinked) and I&#8217;ll begin outsourcing Hubs/Infobarrels again.</p>
<p><strong>Earnings For Today:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>$148.88 in CB Sales, 5 of the 6 sales being from sniper sites</li>

<p>Well, today I again got 2 more websites done&#8230;most of the websites I&#8217;ve been creating have been getting indexed the very next day, so I&#8217;ve been going back and posting up the last review page for those&#8230;.</p>
<p>Just to refresh your memories, I registered 23 domains in my main sniper niche which are all .net&#8217;s&#8230;.they are for the same keywords I&#8217;ve already targeted with .orgs.  I&#8217;ve only got 6 more of these sites to do until I&#8217;m done creating the .net versions of my already existing .org keyword domains.</p>
<p>I noticed today that one of my new sites I just put up has already gotten a sale today.  It  took 19 hops before getting the 1 sale, but it&#8217;s still too early to tell if my new method of writing the sales copy for all these sites is causing improved conversions, or if this is just by luck that I converted a sale so fast&#8230;will have to wait and see how my other new sites written in the same fashion do.</p>
<p>Aside from this, I&#8217;ve been talking with Ben a bit about Hubpages.  Ben participated in Court&#8217;s 100 hubs in 30 days challenge and was quite successful in developing a nice adsense income as a result.  I&#8217;ve gotten a  few pointers from him and am considering having another go at it with this new information.  If I can find time in between my sniper site creation, I&#8217;m going to see if I can squeeze in some Hubpages.</p>
<p>One thing I did today that was Hubpage related was go back to my 10 Hubpages I created and interlink my hubs a bit.  What I did was the following:</p>
<p>Have Hub 2 link to Hub 1</p>
<p>Have Hub 3 link to Hub 1 and 2</p>
<p>Have Hub 4 link to Hub 1,2 and 3</p>
<p>Have Hub 5 link to Hub 1,2,3 and 4</p>
<p>Have Hub 6 link to Hub 1,2,3,4 and 5</p>
<p>Have Hub 7 link to Hub 1,2,3,4,5 and 6</p>
<p>Have Hub 8 link to Hub 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7</p>
<p>Have Hub 9 link to Hub 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8</p>
<p>Have Hub 10 link to Hub 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9</p>
<p>Now apparently you&#8217;re allowed only 2 external links, but there is no limit on the # of links to your own hubs.  With this backlinking method, there are only 1 way links, however the linking is not evenly distributed and Hub 10 is left with no links.  I&#8217;ll be doing this though unless I can come up with any better linking strategy between the hubs.</p>
<p>Another tip I got was to target keywords as low as 200 exact searches..it would certainly be a lot easier to rank for such keywords&#8230;</p>

<p>So now that I just finished those 22 Sniper Sites in that 1 niche, I decided to go and create some backlinks for all of them.  I had already started with some of them so today I was able to do 4 more runs of UAW and thus get backlinks for 8 of the 22 sites (2 sites per UAW posting).</p>
<p>I have 8 more sites left to create links for using UAW which I&#8217;ll handle tomorrow, once that&#8217;s done, backlinking will be on autopilot for all of those sites and I should at the bare minimum get 20-30 registered backlinks for each website out of the run&#8230;possibly 50-60&#8230;I&#8217;ve scheduled the submission process at 7/day.</p>
<p>Now I wanted to mention something dirty that other affiliate marketers can do to you&#8230;</p>
<p>Site Sabotage.</p>
<p>You may remember that some time ago I made a Wordpress site that I queued up a bunch of my Ezine Articles to for Site #1&#8230;Well, that started ranking for my product&#8217;s keyword on page 1.  Now this niche is a seasonal niche and now that it&#8217;s summer, there&#8217;s a lot more people vying for page 1.  All of a sudden a bunch of brand new sites started popping up for my product keyword and pushing my main website off of the first page.</p>
<p>Another thing that has happened at EXACTLY the same time that these sites started appearing is my Wordpress site was banned due to terms of service violation.</p>
<p>You see, Wordpress does not like sites on it&#8217;s network that have any commercial intent.  That means <strong>no affiliate links</strong>.  All someone has to do to eliminate some of their competition is flag your Wordpress blog and there goes your site.</p>
<p>This same dirty tactic can be used on Hubpages as well&#8230;.If an affiliate marketer wanted to eliminate some of their competition on the first page for a keyword where there were Hubpages ranking, all they&#8217;d have to do is flag the Hub a few times.</p>
<p>Anyway, that&#8217;s just a warning to you not to put too much stock in any 1 of these Web 2.0 sites&#8230;</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Earnings For Today:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>$4.10 Sale for Site#3</li>
<li>Adsense = $1.97</li>
<li>Hops for today = 134!</li>
</ul>
<p>I can&#8217;t believe how many hops I&#8217;m getting now&#8230;I got 81 hops total for my troublesome Sniper Site niche alone, that&#8217;s more than what I&#8217;d get from my authority sites on a good day!</p>
<p>Still no sales yet for those sites though.  If only the income increased along with these hops I would have double the income :&gt;</p>
<p>Well&#8230;I got lucky in finding all these good highly searched keywords that I can rank easily for on the first page&#8230;.If I can keep on finding these kinds of keywords and have them be <strong>profitable</strong>, that would be nice&#8230;</p>
