Day 77 – Got A New Outsourcing Resource

July 21st, 2009

hahah!

So 2 days ago I had outsourced 16 hubs to a service called “Human Rewriter” It’s an outsourcing service I saw Jeremey Kelsall and Michelle and Leslie from TNB vouch for…Well, I just got them back and overall I am pretty impressed!  I read through them all and noticed that they all made sense, there were no silly grammatical errors that would show that someone wrote this who has English as a second language.

I got really excited after looking through the first few, thinking that I wouldn’t even have to edit these, that I could post them straight up as hubs, but I eventually found a few that had issues.  About 3-4 of the 16 didn’t use the keyword enough times or at all in the body….Additonally 1 other small thing was I mentioned they should all be over 450 words…the majority were, but there were 2 that were under 400, one at 330 words and one in the high 300’s.  With those I jsut padded on an intro paragraph and a little conclusion and that was that.

On the whole though, this has been the best outsourcing experience I’ve ever had.. I even asked them to throw in some LSI keywords if they could fit it in and they ended up doing it :> …As for the editing for each article, overall it didn’t take long…I’d say less than 30 seconds for each, except for the 3-4 that I needed to fill in the keywords (1-2 min each) and the 2 that I had to add an intro and conclusion sentence (2 min each)..

But again, the thing that stands out most with these people is the English quality… a lot of outsourcing companies say they have native English speakers(GetArticlesDone) but then you realize some of the articles are NOT written by native speakers….In this case there was the odd small spelling mistake, but the grammer for all 16 was on par with a native speaker.

Now BTW, Get Articles Done was still good and I will still use them for UAW submissions… but for content I want on a site, content I want to read well, I’m going to be using Human Rewriter (That’s my link if you want to use it to sign up).

The hardest part when it comes to outsourcing is finding a good person or good group of people to outsource to, and with these guys, who I hope will stick around for a while, I feel I’ve now got that element of confidence.  In fact, I’m now considering going all out with outsourcing after this and just outsourcing ALL my infobarrel backlinks to my hubs to them.  If I make 300 hubs and outsource 150 Infobarrels which are just re-writes of 1/2 my hubs….at $3.70 for the average 450-500 word article, I’m looking at $555.  Quite a lot of money…I really only have Ben’s experience to base this investment on, but I’m willing to try it out.  It will save me literally a week’s worth of work too.

BTW, if you use this, it’s billed by the sentence.  Don’t use semicolons and make sure you extend your really short sentences by turning the periods into comas.  I usually get my 450-500 word articles down to $3.40-$3.80.

As far as what I did today…I wrote up 5 more hubs so I now had 40 hubs I needed to post up(including the 16 I outsourced)…I only got around to posting up 20, so I’ll need to spend 2 hours doing the other 20 to get my total Hub count up to 140.  I’m a bit behind what I expected to have done but I’ll be making up for it with some outsourcing.  I also spent some time looking for new Hub niches and FINALLY found some more..this is what I did:

1.  Go to Google Product Search
2.  Look at the listed items for recent searches
3.  Look for items which probably cost a lot or you think would result in a high CPC
4.  Search for them in the Google Keyword Tool and find out what their CPC is and if they’d make good Hubs
5.  Go back and click “Search Products” to get a new list of products to check through.

I did this and found about 12 potential niches.

BTW, I had this asked via PM, but wanted to answer it here.  If you’re wondering why I’m suddenly switching from Sniper Sites to Adsense Hubs, The reason is, I want to diversify…I want to make my income more stable.  With Clickbank, there are days I can make $0 or only 1 sale, which is not fun.  Although if I look at it on a week by week basis, it seems more stable, I want to get daily income.

I’ve also seen the amazing potential of it from speaking with Ben who’s making somewhere around $80/day after around 2 motnhs I believe and I want to get in on that action..

I’ll probably be doing other stuff as well after all this to diversify even more, like maybe Adsense Snipers(outsourcing with these guys would be great for this) or Amazon Snipers(like what Niche Market Ninja is doing)…

Earnings For Today:

  • $27.12 – Sale for a site in the main sniper niche
  • Hops = 661
  • Adsense = $3.64 (Note, 6 of the 9 previous days I’ve made money off of my Hubs…nothing substantial, I’ve probably made around $13 in total since I put up my first 10 hubs over a month ago, but it’s still too early..need to wait 2 weeks after posting all my latest hubs before I can expect anything..backlinking should help)

Day 71 – Sniper Wrap Up And It's Over 700!

July 15th, 2009

The More You Ignore It, The Cooler You Look.

Well, looks like the hops have finally reached past 700, today I clocked in at 716 hops :>

Other than that, I finished off my last 3 sniper sites and now am finally going to be focusing my energy on building hubs…

I’m going to need to spend a good deal of time tomorrow researching various niches to jump into for the hubs.  I want to start off putting hubs in as many niches as I can so that I find out which are the good niches to focus on early on.

I’m also going to be outsourcing some UAW articles over the next little bit, gotta go figure out how many articles will need to be outsourced and also come up with what keywords they should target before I outsource them.

Once I’ve got a good idea of what niches are going to be profitable, I’ll start writing the hubs..I’m hoping that after all is said and done, I can pull in at least a solid 2k/month from Clickbank and another 3k/month from Adsense via Infobarrel and Hubpages..

After I do my hubpage and Infobarrel spree, I may then consider other ventures, like possibly creating adsense sniper sites or amazon sites geared around product keywords like what the Niche Market Ninja is doing…But first things first…

I still have a few other possible sniper sites I can create in this niche, although I’m going to keep them on the back burner for now, I need a break from the sniper sites…I’ve created 116 Sniper sites thus far…

Earnings For Today:

  • 3 Sniper site sales, $16.61, $16.61 and $27.12(this one is from a site I put up on the 23rd of June)
  • Hops = 716
  • Adsense = $6.49 (Hubpage clicks in here)

Additional Notes For The End Of The Sniper Spree:

Just want to make a note here…George speaks of making somewhere in the range of $200-500 per sniper site, however in my experience after 100 odd sniper sites for keywords with searches per month of 3k-14k EXACT match, this is not the case.  Whenever I make these sniper sites, I expect them to at best generate 1-3 sales/month..Out of all my sniper sites I’ve ever created, this has been the norm, and I have a lot of sites ranking in the top 1-5 positions for page#1.

Additionally, I don’t expect to see all my sites bringing in that, usually it’s only like 1/3 of my total sniper sites that bring in those sales each month.  That’s not to say only 1/3 are profitable, some sites may only make a sale every other month and who knows, perhaps more sites will become profitable as they age and I generate more backlinks…but this has been my experience thus far.

Day 64 – 40 Hubs Done So Far

July 8th, 2009

Man, I’m so tired these days by the time I write these updates..

Today this is what I got done:

-Wrote up 5 more hubs
-Posted up to hubpages the 5 hubs from yesterday plus the newly written 5 hubs for today (40 hubs total are up now)
-Posted up the review pages for the 2 sniper sites created yesterday (which were both indexed today on page 1)
-Created 2 new sniper sites

Now I spoke again with Ben on a good format for the hubs and came to realize that mine needed improvement.  I was previously doing the following:

[text]
[pic] (a large one)
[text]

[text]
[amazon/ebay]
[comments]

However after realizing that I could have double the CTR if I tried another layout, I decided to revamp my hubs from here on out..I also spent some time revising 1/2 my existing hubs, still have to revise the other half….basically this is what I’m doing now for my 450-500 word hubs:

[text] (200-250 words go here)
[pic] half the regular size
[text] (rest goes here)

That’s it…

The comments were getting in the way of the bottom adsense block at the end of the article so that was removed, the video was a distraction, the large image that I was using before was too big and the amazon/ebay was detracting from the adsense clicks.

Regarding Amazon/Ebay, if you’re going to keep it due to the keyword being for a high value product, apparently it’s more profitable to only link to Ebay on Hubpages as Ebay has a 1 month cookie vs Amazon’s 24 hour cookie.  I know that the Niche Market Ninja guy does things the other way around, however that is for niche sites.  Anyways, if I do go with Ebay, I’m likely going to right justify it against the last body module.

After I changed my hubs to look like this, I could see how this would result in a lot more adsense clicks, it’s a lot easier to see the ads without all the distractions I used to have.  With this layout you have adsense blocks at the top, an adsense block in the middle of the article under the pic, and an adsense block at the end.

Well, I need to jump into a new niche again for writing hubs, I’ve got a few ideas but haven’t had the time to do keyword research really.. thus far I’ve been doing it at the same time I write up the hubs.

I’m a bit behind in the hub creation, it seems like I’ve really put my standards up high trying to get 2 snipers done a day plus 10 hubs…it’s a lot of work, but I’m still going to hold that as a target for each day.

Earnings For Today:

  • Sale from someone on this site :> = $67.49
  • Adsense = $2.46
  • Hops = 615 (looks like hops are going back up now)

Day 37 – 15 Days Of Sales

June 11th, 2009

I found this pic on my hd, something I did up in paint like 2 years ago..It’s one of many.  I used to draw a lot of crazy stuff…

Something pretty cool happened today…It was the first time I looked at Clickbank and saw nothing but bars for all 15 days that were displayed, check it out:

11 of the last 15 days I’ve also had more than 2+ sales…I noticed that some of the last few sites I created in my main sniper niche have begun getting sales today.

So it looks like now the next target I need to make for myself is consistent $100+ days…once I’m able to hit that, I’ll be close to 3k/month, which is what I set as a target for the end of the year.  At this point I would like to at least make 4-5k by the end of the year, if I attain that, I’m not going to have to work anymore.

So, as far as what I got done today…I posted up my 2 Hubpages I wrote up yesterday and I also wrote 5 new ones and posted those up too.  These Hubs take longer than I thought they’d take to complete.  I’m trying to create quality ones so I don’t wind up in trouble with Google down the road.  Each one is turning out to be between 650-800 words.  I also spent time looking for unique pictures for each one and Youtube videos as well…this is how I’m structuring them:

=====

I’m still going to have to interlink the hubs and submit the feed, I’ll do that later..so far I’ve just bookmarked 2 of the hubs.

Aside from this, I found 2 other niches I can use to create hubs within, I did some initial research in one of them and found 7 keywords, I also did more research in my first niche for adsense hubs and found 4 more keywords, that gives me 24 hubs for the first adsense hub niche and 7 for the second so far…The 3rd is going to be a good one as it has plenty of keywords over $10 (Court mentioned if you want to get $1 clicks, you need to find a keyword that has at least a $5 CPC.

I’m going to keep this pace of at least 5 Hubs a day, at that rate I’ll have 50 hubs up in 10 days time, 100 in 20….

I’m going to see about working in Angela’s GoArticle method tomorrow in with the Hubs now that I’ve got the hang of making them.

Earnings For Today:

  • $75.80 in CB Sales – ($27.12, $27.12, $21.56…all sales from the main sniper site niche)
  • Adsense = $3.51
  • Hops = 434
