Day 77 – Got A New Outsourcing Resource

July 21st, 2009

hahah!

So 2 days ago I had outsourced 16 hubs to a service called “Human Rewriter” It’s an outsourcing service I saw Jeremey Kelsall and Michelle and Leslie from TNB vouch for…Well, I just got them back and overall I am pretty impressed!  I read through them all and noticed that they all made sense, there were no silly grammatical errors that would show that someone wrote this who has English as a second language.

I got really excited after looking through the first few, thinking that I wouldn’t even have to edit these, that I could post them straight up as hubs, but I eventually found a few that had issues.  About 3-4 of the 16 didn’t use the keyword enough times or at all in the body….Additonally 1 other small thing was I mentioned they should all be over 450 words…the majority were, but there were 2 that were under 400, one at 330 words and one in the high 300’s.  With those I jsut padded on an intro paragraph and a little conclusion and that was that.

On the whole though, this has been the best outsourcing experience I’ve ever had.. I even asked them to throw in some LSI keywords if they could fit it in and they ended up doing it :> …As for the editing for each article, overall it didn’t take long…I’d say less than 30 seconds for each, except for the 3-4 that I needed to fill in the keywords (1-2 min each) and the 2 that I had to add an intro and conclusion sentence (2 min each)..

But again, the thing that stands out most with these people is the English quality… a lot of outsourcing companies say they have native English speakers(GetArticlesDone) but then you realize some of the articles are NOT written by native speakers….In this case there was the odd small spelling mistake, but the grammer for all 16 was on par with a native speaker.

Now BTW, Get Articles Done was still good and I will still use them for UAW submissions… but for content I want on a site, content I want to read well, I’m going to be using Human Rewriter (That’s my link if you want to use it to sign up).

The hardest part when it comes to outsourcing is finding a good person or good group of people to outsource to, and with these guys, who I hope will stick around for a while, I feel I’ve now got that element of confidence.  In fact, I’m now considering going all out with outsourcing after this and just outsourcing ALL my infobarrel backlinks to my hubs to them.  If I make 300 hubs and outsource 150 Infobarrels which are just re-writes of 1/2 my hubs….at $3.70 for the average 450-500 word article, I’m looking at $555.  Quite a lot of money…I really only have Ben’s experience to base this investment on, but I’m willing to try it out.  It will save me literally a week’s worth of work too.

BTW, if you use this, it’s billed by the sentence.  Don’t use semicolons and make sure you extend your really short sentences by turning the periods into comas.  I usually get my 450-500 word articles down to $3.40-$3.80.

As far as what I did today…I wrote up 5 more hubs so I now had 40 hubs I needed to post up(including the 16 I outsourced)…I only got around to posting up 20, so I’ll need to spend 2 hours doing the other 20 to get my total Hub count up to 140.  I’m a bit behind what I expected to have done but I’ll be making up for it with some outsourcing.  I also spent some time looking for new Hub niches and FINALLY found some more..this is what I did:

1.  Go to Google Product Search
2.  Look at the listed items for recent searches
3.  Look for items which probably cost a lot or you think would result in a high CPC
4.  Search for them in the Google Keyword Tool and find out what their CPC is and if they’d make good Hubs
5.  Go back and click “Search Products” to get a new list of products to check through.

I did this and found about 12 potential niches.

BTW, I had this asked via PM, but wanted to answer it here.  If you’re wondering why I’m suddenly switching from Sniper Sites to Adsense Hubs, The reason is, I want to diversify…I want to make my income more stable.  With Clickbank, there are days I can make $0 or only 1 sale, which is not fun.  Although if I look at it on a week by week basis, it seems more stable, I want to get daily income.

I’ve also seen the amazing potential of it from speaking with Ben who’s making somewhere around $80/day after around 2 motnhs I believe and I want to get in on that action..

I’ll probably be doing other stuff as well after all this to diversify even more, like maybe Adsense Snipers(outsourcing with these guys would be great for this) or Amazon Snipers(like what Niche Market Ninja is doing)…

Earnings For Today:

  • $27.12 – Sale for a site in the main sniper niche
  • Hops = 661
  • Adsense = $3.64 (Note, 6 of the 9 previous days I’ve made money off of my Hubs…nothing substantial, I’ve probably made around $13 in total since I put up my first 10 hubs over a month ago, but it’s still too early..need to wait 2 weeks after posting all my latest hubs before I can expect anything..backlinking should help)

    Hi Mike,

    Reading about your success is very motivating. Great job, keep up the good work.

    I see you mention adsense. John (Xfactor) from the warrior forum is coming out with an ebook and video tutorial on how he got to $300@day with adsense. Might want to check that out, sign up is in his signature link. Should be out later this week. And there is a great amazon wso going on too something like building amazon sniper sites.

    Again thanks for the super updates keep’em coming.

    Mike,

    Thanks for the updates. When you use human writer service can you ask them to combine and re-write sections of a few different articles? I think you said you use some ezinearticles articles. Are these your own? If not, I’d be more comfortable combining points from a few different ones to not get in any trouble. Is the quality better than that of getarticlesdone? I had a complaint about one of them and they told me that I can request to not use that writer again! Can’t wait to see your results after these article submissions.

    @Joseph

    Hey thanks Joseph,

    Ya, I know about XFactor’s course…not sure if I’ll sign up for it though as his overview of what he’s teaching is pretty basic and nothing new to me, the only thing that I might be interested in is his wordpress theme…although I think he uses XSite Pro.

    The Amazon thing is probably from Niche Market Ninja..

    @Debbie

    Hey Debbie, I’m not sure exactly what you mean by combine and re-write…but what *I* did was cut and paste articles out of Ezine Articles for them to rewrite..I took an article that was over 450 words, and if it didn’t have the main kw in it enough times, I put it in myself, then asked them to re-write that.

    I did a comparison after and the articles were 60% unique according to DupeCop…

    The quality of writing is better than GetArticlesDone as in GetArticlesDone, sometimes you’d get a native speaker, and sometimes you wouldn’t…for all my 16 articles though, it came across as all being written by a native speaker.

    Ya, once I start outsourcing tons of articles things will get interesting :>

    Hey Mike,

    What I meant about the article is that if they are just using one ezinearticle and re-writing it sentence by sentence that some say that borders on plagairism (if you weren’t the author) , even if it passes copyscape because it is too close to someone’s original writing.

    @Debbie

    well, I think that’s taking things too far and I personally wouldn’t even think twice about this sort of stuff…This all goes back to fear, and how fear stops people from doing anything…

    That’s one of the first things you have to quiet if you want to get anywhere in this business.

    Hi Mike.. Been meaning to ask you this for a while now.

    What do you use to track your visits (if you do)?

    @Isak

    Hey, I believe I answered this in an earlier comment, I prefer to use analytics, although I use awstats as well as I haven’t got it setup on all accounts.

    I don’t concern myself too much with tracking visits though, I mainly track how well my sites are doing by the hops they generate via my CB tracking id’s..I setup a new one for each of my websites.

    Thank you for your answer. I understand while you dont focus so much on traffic stats but the hops instead. The hops is what matters.

    The only thing is, that if you keep track of traffic and hops you can analyze tha data and figure out which sites has the best CTR rate.

    @Isak

    Not my style :> I used to do all that stuff, but now I realize it’s better I spend that time writing up more articles or getting more sites up and out there.

    Great idea on diversifying your income. I’ll be working on that too in a bit. I was also thinking of doing the hubpages/infobarrel. Crazy what information you find before you do it. But thanks for creating your website 😉
