<a href="#comment-710" rel="nofollow">@Evita</a>

Hey Evita, ya, I talked about using an article submitter in a previous update. I was thinking about either getting either Article Marketing Automation in addition to UAW or just getting "automatic article submitter"..the latter being the cheaper option.

I had a look at that thread..ya, you can't rely on Google's numbers as fact at all, they're always going to be off when estimating what kind of traffic you'll be getting, way off. But with enough experience, you can learn to equate the numbers shown to what it will likely be in reality.

The formula that Steve gives in that thread is somewhat accurate, I'd say given the scenario the traffic should be 50-75/day. However this is a very simple example, in reality that's not going to be enough to info to help you estimate traffic as you'll likely rank #1-10 on page 1 of Google for a multitude of keywords. I really DO NOT advise relying on these damn formulas.

This is something I find a lot of people like to go by when they don't have enough in field experience, you cannot substitute formulas for experience...

When I target keywords, I've been targeting keywords that have between 4.4k - 14.8k exact searches...I would still look into a 3k keyword if it was targeted though, but unless you rank in the top 3 for such a keyword, you're right, you won't see too much traffic.

Are you using an article submitter? That may be a great tool to add to the arsenal.

We already have the articles, more than one version :) and we can make more versions... Yup, a good article submitter would be useful.

Here's an interesting thread on the WF.

www.warriorforum.com/adsense-ppc-seo-discussion-forum/99082-not-getting-traffic-i-expected-particular-keyword.html

I've decided to tighten up my criteria for what niche I get involved in.
I actually like doing the research, I just have to spend more time getting the kw's with more searches. I've been going for kw's with 3000 searches per month. Now this could be OK if there is no competition... B

But if you have to work at ranking with a site and then only get a handful of visitors per day,,, dunno. Better then to spend more time researching the higher traffic kw's.

<a href="#comment-703" rel="nofollow">@Evita</a>

Hah, ya, that would be something if I wasn't talking about a movie.. Ya, the UAW articles are good enough for submitting to UAW, you're just trying to get backlinks, so as long as they're 1/2 way decent they'll get accepted.

These types of services, in general, are notorious for taking a long time to write up your articles or releasing articles that are of sub-standard quality. For the price though, I feel they delivered content much better than other services and they also delivered it on time.

I don't think these guys are about to change their writers based on a few complaints, but who knows. I've personally yet to see a company such as this operate at that standard.

If you're going to publish to article directories, I'd use an automated article submitter to do that..I personally wouldn't go the route of only submitting to a few sites, I'd be doing it for the backlinks and would submit to as many as possible and 'drip' it out at a rate of 7 or so a day.

Ya Deb, great movie...Ya, not having to expend the effort to write that saves a lot of your own energy and even if I have to spend an extra 15 min cleaning things up, I'm still ahead of the game.

Sara, damn, that sucks, small world. But ya, it was a good movie, Johnny Depp did a great job of acting out the part as usual...

I'm anxious to see that movie too. My great-aunt was held up by Dillinger when she worked in a bank! Plus you can't go wrong with Johnny Depp :)

Sounds like the movie was excellent. Glad you enjoyed it.

About the articles, sometimes even a small quick fix is still worth the time in saves in writing it yourself. I'm all about saving time too, so to me it would have been worth it in the end too.

Hey!!

Your headline made me sit up straight for sure....

I thought your were being attacked.

Glad to see that is not the case. ;-)

Got my UAW articles back. Haven't read them all, but the ones I read seem OK. Definitely good enough to submit to UAW and other article directories.

I think you should let the owner of the service know if you get articles that are apparently not written by someone with the right grasp of the English language. I sure will. It will ensure that we continue to get a quality product, and will help the owner as well, if people are happy.

I'm planning on publishing these (all three versions)on other article directories as well. Anyone have a good list of directories worth publishing to?

Goarticles is a sure bet, but who else?
