Day 57 – Profit For June!

So it’s the end of another month and time to tally the score…

Here are the results for the month of June:

Total Hops = 13,966
Total Sales = 76
Total Refunds = 5
NET Sales = 69
GROSS CB Sales = $1,844.57
NET CB Sales = $1,740.27

Adsense = $133.85

***GRAND TOTAL = $1,874.12***
(+ $715.32 over last month’s total)

For me, living in Canada, with the current exchange rate being 86 cents to the dollar, this is $2,136.49 Canadian for me :>

Here’s more of a breakdown:

-47 Sniper Site Sales (compared to 17 sales for sniper sites last month)
-My main sniper niche accounts for $864.50 worth of sales…these sales came from a total of 17 of the main sniper site niche sites.
-16 Sales for Site #1 totaling $311.99 NET sales

Click Here for a Screenshot of Clickbank, showing total hops for the month, $ earned, refunds, and a breakdown of the hop distribution to the sites >>

A look at the monthly progress now:

Feb = $325.17
Mar = $622.44
Apr = $795.19
May = $1,158.80
June = $1,874.12

I remember at the beginning of the year I had the goal of reaching 3k/month by the end of the year…I remember it seeming like this big goal and I remember not being sure if it would be achievable in that time frame or not..funny how things change…Now, given my results, I’ve changed that goal to 4-5k/month by then.

Additional Info For The Day:

  • Created 2 more sniper sites in the main sniper niche
  • Got all my ordered articles I outsourced, I’ll talk more about this tomorrow..

    Hey, Pete, Evita, Shelly Jen, Clefty, Donna, thanks all for the congrats :>

    Shely and Clefty, about George’s course, I’ve been attending each one, with the exception of the one yesterday (I have to catch up). Last I saw we were still on the creation of the Squidoo page. I’ve yet to start mine up, however that’s something that won’t take me that much time…I’m really waiting for the promotional bit to be talked about before I really jump in and have a go at it.

    Ya Jen, I’ll post up what my latest findings are regarding outsourcing…I’ve had a shift recently in the way I think about it and I think sharing how that recently happened will help people understand how to get passed that anxiety of trying it.

    And thanks Donna for the vote of confidence :> I know I’ve got to step things up with the site creation to keep that growing..

    I don’t think the last 23 sites I made for keywords I had already taken the .orgs for was the best idea..I didn’t get much benefit out of creating the .nets, they ended up knocking some of my other sites off page 1.. hut hopefully now that I’m venturing out into new keywords, growth will start up again…

    You’re obviously doing a GREAT JOB!! Just totally AWESOME. Congrats Future Guru!!

    Have you been able to tabulate how many sales have come from sites other than your main site? …also does George from Sniper Sites know how well you’re doing?

    Haha, thanks Bruce.

    I have 8 authority sites(Site#1-#8), most have 50-60 posts at the moment, but a few have close to 120…Site#1 is my most successful authority site.

    This month though Site#2 had 6 sales at around $20 a sale, so that’s about $140…

    Also, Site#3 had 4 sales totaling $79.56..

    Site #1-3 have always gotten sales, but my other authority sites have not been successful….strangely enough though, Site#4 just yesterday got a sale though of $43.29.

    The rest of the sales came from sniper sites either in my main sniper niche or in other sniper niches.

    I’ve spoken with George and apparently there are people who have been in contact with him who already made full time incomes with his method. Apparently George only has less than 50 sniper sites yet has managed a 10k/month income.

    This fact, and the fact that others have supposedly made full time incomes baffles me.. as you can see in my experience above, it took 17 of my sniper sites in my main sniper site niche to pull in $864.50. And that’s not the full story either, I made many more sites in this niche, not just 17 to get that amount.

    Perhaps it’s the niche though, I’m converting at 1:200-300 hops for my main sniper niche. BTW this is expected in this niche. In fact, one of the programs in this niche in the affiliate area compares it’s conversion to others in a PPC test.

    They show how their product gets a 1:180’ish conversion in comparison to other products in the niche converting at 1:250 or 1:300. If 1:180 is the best the creator of the product can do, then it’s clear to me it’s this niche.

    Well, hopefully as I build more sites, I’ll come across niches and keywords that yield better results..but I’m going to keep building these sites because they are still turning out profitable.

    Congratulations on hitting the 2k mark. Also, you convinced me to do a little outsourcing too so I appreciate it. Have you used articlemarketer or that other one that I think goes to blogs articlemarketingautomation) run by the plrpro people? I was also wondering if google doesn’t like to put the net, org and com on front page as I have one domain that’s an org and it seems the com is on page 1 and I can’t get off page 2. I will keep backlinking. Do you use ezinearticles these days for backlinking or do you think using profile backlinks plus uaw is sufficient? Do you have any ideas why your authority sites did better in June (which is nice)?

    Hey thanks Debbie..

    and np, I wouldn’t have begun outsourcing at this time if you didn’t give me that link.

    I have still got to look into a way to further market my sniper sites in addition to using UAW…I haven’t bought AMA yet though, or Article Marketer(although that outsourcing site does those submissions).

    As far as Google not putting .net, .org and .com …depending on the competition you’re facing, there is a limit to how many sniper sites can occupy page 1 at a time.. I’ve had 3 of my sniper sites all rank for 1 keyword on page 1 before, but for the most part, I’ve been knocking some of my sites off.

    I haven’t been using Ezine Articles for a long time, if I did use them, I’d let you know on this site..

    Finding out what is sufficient depends on the niche…I’ve got some niches where just the UAW submission was fine…I have 1 niche where I haven’t even done a UAW submission yet I’m still ranking at the top…

    But for some niches, you need to do more, like my main sniper niche apparently.

    As for why Site#2 did well out of nowhere, I’m not really sure what’s causing that to be honest…I must be ranking high for a well converting keyword or something.

    And as for Site#4 getting a sale, I noticed it’s ranking on page 3 for the product name’s keyword…before it was on page 4-5. I may do a directory submission for this site and see if I can boost it up further…if I can get it to page 1, I know it will start making regular sales because that’s a very targetted keyword.
