Day 49 – Day Of Monies

June 23rd, 2009
Sup Yo.

Sup Yo.

Well, got through another day of building sites, I put up another 2 sites today which leaves 8 sites for me to build before I get into a few new keywords…

Today was a KILLER day for me in terms of sales…In fact I’ve never had a larger sales day than today..

NOTE:Β  On June 11th, truth be told, I purchased a CB product through my own link, hence the $163.75 commission day there should actually beΒ  around $96.51 and the weekly totals should read as:

2009-06-24 $501.30
2009-06-17 $399.65 **
2009-06-10 $434.88
2009-06-03 $291.08
2009-05-27 $247.54

Nevertheless, you’ll still be able to see from this screenshot how my CB income in the last 1 month has doubled and seems to now be at at least $500/week(I still have 1 day to go before this week is over):

Here is the earning breakdown for today:

7 Sales..

1 sale from a sniper site in Site#2’s niche = $20.04
3 sales in the main sniper niche = $27.12, $27.12, $21.57
2 sales for Site #1 = $26.38, $26.38
1 sale for Site #2 = $20.04

Adsense = $5.04

Hops = 509

*Total for Today = $173.59!*

Can’t wait to see what my income will be like once these next 8 sites + the 28 I registered recently are done!Β  I would love to see this trend continue and bring my income to $750/week in another month…

Once I get to 1k/week, around 4k a month, I’ll be getting 4.4k/month CAN which is a little over 50k/year..I’ll pretty much be set then, hope that day comes soon :>

Truly Amazing Mike! I predict you’ll be at 50k/year by October. I’d even bet against myself that you’ll beat my prediction.

    Holy Cow Mike! That’s great

Pretty amazing stuff my friend. You have inspired me to start my own little Sniper Empire.

While I do not have the time to get 25+ done every week, I am adding 3 or 4, which should add up quickly. Great work!

same here, I have my first 5 sniper sites up and all have made sales in the last week.

I don’t think it will be long before your making $1k per week.

    Mike,

That is awesome. Also it looks like site 2 is coming back which is great.
How are the authority sites doing that link to products 1, 2 and 3?

    Hey Mike,

Congratulations! Today was a good day for me as well – $26 (CB) + $80 (Markethealth) + $30 Adsense. I wanna get started on some sniper sites next. Do you actually have sniper sites in 1 niche which are not converting at all? I mean, out of your 50 or so sites, is there a niche which is not making ANY sales? I’m just apprehensive to start buying domains in a niche which may not convert at all. I did that for the “relationship/get ex back” niche and it did not go well for me at all.

I guess I’m asking some strategy that you can think of at the onset since you’ve obviously made it using this sniper site system.

    Thanks!

Hey thanks Pete for the vote of confidence :>

    Deb, thanks :>

Hey Dusty, haha, well, getting these sites done surprisingly doesn’t take much time the more you do it…I’ve gotten the whole creation of content/putting the site up/bookmarking/rss feed submitting down to about 3 hours per site.

Which means that even if you have a full time job you can at least get 1 done a day if you really want to…

Rik, that’s awesome how all your sites have made sales! Congrats and thanks.

Debbie, ya, I don’t understand whats up with Site#2, it even got a sale today…I checked analytics, Google isn’t even listed as a traffic source, Yahoo is #1…

Since the 18th I’ve gotten 5 sales from it..I’m guessing I’m now showing up for some good keywords on Yahoo or something.

As for my authority sites, the only ones that really ever get any sales are sites 1-3. Site #1 is a bit behind in sales for this month(12…last month it had around 20) and Site#3 has been generating a ton of adsense this month and has had 4 sales..

    @jb

Hey JB, nice job on the sales man! The best advice I can give you is NOT TO FEAR…seriously, I feel this is the BIGGEST barrier to success online…You can’t be afraid to put up sites that will turn out to be duds, the fear will cripple you and prevent you from taking action.

I have built sniper sites that have not resulted in any sales as of yet, they’re spread out amongst all my niches, but I don’t worry about those…

One thing I noticed though was my sniper sites in the weight loss niche did not do too well right off the bat…its as if Google held off ranking them high because they knew what a competitive niche this was.

I would prefer to make sniper sites in niches without so much competition, but apparently George made a bunch in the dating niche, so who knows.

If you’re venturing into a new niche and not sure about it, just buy a few domains, like 5 or so and put some sites up, if they don’t end up doing well, don’t buy any more domains and move onto another niche..Don’t be afraid of losing that time or wasting money on those domains, it’s all a NECESSARY part of the game and its a learning experience.

Wow Mike, you are doing so well! You know, you should be a sniper coach πŸ™‚

Sweet! Congratulations! I’ve been taking your approach and doing several sites in one niche. But I am not as productive as you πŸ™‚ I never seem to have 3 hours in one shot to work on it and that equals distractions! LOL

    Mike

Great work; I decided to go ahead and do my keyword research again and begin buying domains. While I have yet to find a goldmine like you; I did find some that had over 5,000 searches.

Although there were only 3 decent domains in that niche. I spend around 2 hours each day doing my KW research; but I want to avoid too much competition.

    Good luck keep it up.

Thanks Lisa, hah, I don’t mind helping out for free if you have any questions here…

Hey Sara, well, I have distractions as well I don’t always do it in one sitting, but I always make sure the job gets done by the end of the day!

Susan, thanks…ya with some niches it can be hard to find keywords to work with…The more experience you get with building sniper sites though, the more keywords will open up to you as you will gain the confidence to go after keywords which would seem a bit more difficult.

Thanks for the advice, Mike! What you’re saying is true. I guess I AM afraid to waste money or time but it’s all necessary to find the goldmine!

    Hi Mike,

What is the lowest you will go on exact searches per month for a sniper site? I have found an easy keyword phrase but it only get 1300/month exact searches. Phrase and Broad are 1300 and 1600 respectively.

    Thanks,
    Peter

    Thanks Shelly :>

And np JB…when I do what I do, I don’t even think twice about the money I spend on domains(like that time I bought 28 domains in 1 day)…I also realize that after I’ve done my keyword research, whether a site becomes successful or not should not be a worry, it doesn’t even enter my head, the only thing I focus on is getting my quota of sites up for the day (which is now 2) and then assessing the results a while down the road…

    Hey Pete…

To answer your question, I would go as low as 2.9k exact…however 5.4 or even 4.4k is more ideal…

Another factor to consider when you’re looking at these figures is the competition for this niche. Often times when you build a site, you not only rank on page 1 for your target keyword, but for variations as well…if you pick a tough niche, it will be harder to pull in traffic from variations due to increased competition, and thus the 2.9k searches in one niche will vary from 2.9k in another.

I’ve had situations where I pick a keyword that has maybe 2.9k searches for say “acne herbal home remedies” and then I end up also ranking on page 1 for say “acne herbal remedies” which may be another 2.9k phrase…

You know I actually picked a 1.6k exact search phrase in the weightloss niche recently…what happened was it ended up ranking #4 on page 1, but its now only getting an average of 10 visits a day according to cpanel and only getting a hop a day…

I’m not wasting my time with keywords like that anymore…

Nice work, Mike. Your success is inspiring.

I did have a question about your bookmarking. How do you go about that – how many sites, how quickly, etc.? I have found lately that when I bookmark too much I actually lose rankings so now I am nervous to do much with new sites. I am curious what seems to work well for you.

    June 24th, 2009 at 12:02 | #18

    Hey thanks Carrie…

As far as bookmarking is concerned, at the moment I’m only bookmarking my new Sniper Sites.

Every time I create a new site, I bookmark it with BMD immediately after. I give some variations of the title and description before submitting..I also make sure to pull a random bookmark from an RSS feed to make the bookmarking look more natural.

I don’t concern myself with how fast I’m bookmarking, I just bookmark what needs to be bookmarked.

I don’t have time for it anymore, but back when I was bookmarking my authority sites, I would bookmark 2-3 of those pages at a time, and a max of about 5-6 a day. I’d try not to overdo it each day so as not to get any of my bookmarking accounts deleted.

If you do happen to notice a negative shift in rankings, it’s probably just what Angela has termed the Google Dance which is a natural process when you build up backlinks. your site may go down in rankings or disappear, but it returns..
