@Zaheer
Tnx Zaheer

Ya, I’d say it’s going pretty well considering I haven’t really been working on the business much the last 2 months…I still have a ton of outsourced writing left to upload.
Lol, for SC stuff, the place to go is Team Liquid.. And the good Starcraft players are quite often Koreans who are sponsored and play non stop 16 hours a day…although a lot of the pros are still playing SC1 as sponsors/TV stations haven’t migrated to the newest game.
The most they’ll make is probably 100k/year if they’re really good, Playing poker is probably a better way to make a living…
I wish I can play SC now. But is working hard to achieve $10 per day before that. I saw some of the koreans replay, they are seriously too good, game is their full time job though. lol.
yo Mike.
wow, you’re a top player in Starcraft 2?! wow.
you should get featured in HDstarcraft’s Youtube vid.
@leon
Yup, whenever you want to get really good at something you’ve got to alot a ton of time to it.
@Calfred
I’m not playing that much SC2, I’d need to be playing a heck of a lot more to get to the top of the ladder..
Hey Mike, interesting to see your clickbank earning still pretty solid. I have about 10 clickbank affiliate blogs, and have found my earnings per hop to be almost exactly the same as yours… strange.
It is sooooo much easier to produce adsense based sites though, many more keywords, lower comp, and easier to write content. Clickbank type keywords tend to be harder to find, and there is nearly always some other marketer targetting the keywords too.
Mike, is BSL still worth getting?
(Sorry for off-topic question, but I’m wondering because I can get a deal on it)
Awesome Mikeman 0_o
Considering the 2 months of light work that is pretty great numbers. Have been reading your blog from the beginning and I could just imagine if you would have started with adsense from the start
Definitely the way to go. I wanted to ask if you kept making sites during these 2 months?
Congrats on the August totals and keep it flowing!
@jamie
Hey Jamie, ya for sure..that’s why I decided to stop with the Clickbank and go all out on adsense, it’s a lot easier to generate content for the sites and also to expand/scale up each site’s earnings.
@Jorik
Hey Jorik, I haven’t used it in the last few months so I can’t give you any updated report, when I did use it though I raised my income by $20/day…
@Will
Hey Will, ya, the work I’ve done was a fraction of what I’d normally do..I haven’t made any additional sites, just added a bit of content to existing sites the last 2 months. Probably about 1 week’s worth of usual work a month, if that.
thanks a lot Mike!
@mike
Is all your niche blog having only single 336×280 Adsense block? As I am having low CTR for my sites with same approach, but only single digit CTR. I am thinking should I tweak the theme.
Nice that my XFactor sale showed up as it should.
Hey Mike just wanted to know is the new google instant search affecting your impressions and adsense earnings?
@Jorik
np, I think there’s some links to it in my readme too.
@leon
Hey Leon, ya. If you’re using a layout similar to the black/green one though you should be having a decent CTR…if you’re not using that, then the reason is the niche.
Not all of my niches have high CTR….some of my sites give me the same results you’re seeing. Now if you’re spread out amongst 10 niches and in ALL of them you see the same crappy CTR, THEN it’s a problem with your theme…
@Pe
Ya, thanks bud :>
@Shon
I didn’t even know there was some instant search…if anything my impressions/earnings have gone up..I’ll talk about it in a post soon.
yeah, for some reason mine went up too.
Come to think of it…so have mine. That is weird. Too early to tell though.
Thanks Mike. In this case, should be my customized theme problem.
@Mikeman
May I ask about the average ctr on your sites? In the xfactor pdf he talked about 100% on some sites, but that seems very dangerous to me from a Adsense view (that site can’t be really good?).
@Pe
Can’t talk about CTR in detail due to Adsense TOS…however CTR is not something I even think about. Just find a good theme or themes and once you have the confidence in those themes and their level of performance, when you see dips in CTR across your niches, you can then attribute that to the niche.
You’re going to have niches which give you crappy CTR and those which give you really high CTR…And ya, sometimes you get 50%, 75% or 100% CTR…100% CTR or close to it usually happens more frequently with sites that get very little traffic.
High CTR can also come about by having keyword targeted domains that have words like ‘cheap’, ‘for sale’, etc.. in them.
Google has a way of filtering out junk clicks as well…and if you’re worried, just install something like Clicklock on your sites.
