Day 44 – AFF Results & 100+ Websites

Who Wins? The Saga Continues...

Who Wins? The Saga Continues...

I forgot to mention something yesterday regarding my foray into advertising for adult friend finder…I was able to get a $75 sale yesterday, however that was after spending a total of $200 for 7 days of advertising and that came on the 4th day of advertising.

It seems like this could be lucrative if you could send targeted traffic and a low enough price, or better yet, for free.. It took 125 or so unique visits to get that $75 sale.Β  I could spend more time with this method, searching for the best sites to advertise on so I can get the best rate of return, however I’m most likely going to stop once the 7 days are up.

Today I just built 2 more websites in my main sniper site niche…this makes for 5 sites created over the last 3 days and leaves 16 more for me to work on.Β  I can potentially make even more sites in this niche as I recently came across a bunch of other good keywords, all with around 8-10k searches for exact match…the only catch is with these keywords, it will be hard to provide a targeted product for them so conversions again may not be good.

I’ve been thinking one way I can get around the bad conversions is to setup an autoresponder for all these sites and start collecting e-mail addresses…by doing this I might be able to get a few more sales through an autoresponder series.Β  I’ll need to come up with the series of msgs and a free guide though.

You know, I had a little bit of a stall as far as site creation goes as I reached the 100 site mark, however I feel that has now passed…I’m prepared now to head on over to 200 total websites.

As far as the profitability of my main sniper niche is concerned, it seems to be producing a total of around $700/month rather than $500, this is coming from *36* sites, 25 sales and around 8,800 hops a month O_o

It may be a lot of sites to build to get that kind of income, but they’re small sites that don’t take much time to build… I’m just glad I’ve found a repeatable process that if I keep doing can lead to a full time income.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB Sales = $100.14 – 3 sales from the main sniper niche: $16.33, $16.31, $27.12, 2 Sales for Site #2 = $20.04, $20.04
  • Adsense = $4.88
  • Hops = 584

    Mike,

    Congratulations on 100.00 plus 100 + sites. It seems that if you don’t have to do much maintenance on the sniper sites then it doesn’t matter how many you have. How much do you need to do on them after the first few weeks? Do you do much promotion after that? How do you monitor how each site is doing?

    @Debbie

    Hey thanks Debbie, I have 108 registered domains, however only 80 of those are developed into websites at the moment…

    The thing about all the sniper sites I’ve created is they need no maintenance on my behalf. The only thing I’ve ever done after creating them has been to run Unique Article Wizard on them…

    I then set it to distribute to 7 sites/day and with each submission submitting to around 1k sites, that’s automated backlink building for about 4-5 months.

    The sites for the most part stay on page 1…some fluctuate between page 1 and 2 and some sites disappear off of Google then reappear.. but overall as you can see from my daily logging of hops(most of which are for my sniper sites, only 50-70 are for my authority sites), hops stay pretty consistent.

    The way I monitor how my sites are doing is by looking at my tracking id’s within Clickbank. I make a unique tracking id for every site. I check to see the # of hops vs sales for each tracking id..I also check my Analytics sometimes and lastly, once in a while I’ll check where they’re ranking in Google.

    Hi Mike,

    Congrats on both milestones. I was wondering if it would be better to target higher paying niches or products? Granted, you got the skills to do the work but it seems like a lot of work at this point. If you can get it down to where you have a 5 to 10 sites making between $500 – $1,000 a month that would be more reasonable, and thats something you can create a step by step tutorial to promote GSniper when the affiliate program opens up. Are sell it as a stand alone product. Just food for thought. Keep up the work it keeps me motivated.

    @Joseph

    Hey thanks Joseph, that’s definitely something I’ve been thinking about, the thing is, niches where I can find many quality openings takes priority over that, and I’ve just so happened to have found many for this niche. The payoff is decent though at $27/sale (the higher priced product in this niche didn’t convert)

    As far as reasonable, the only reasonable thing is money in my pocket…I’ll gladly take $700/month in exchange for 36 websites which took 3 hours a piece to make, 30 min each to promote(1 hour for 2 sites with UAW) and which will only take $360/year to maintain. Wouldn’t you?

    You need to understand, although I would like for the return to be greater, I’ve found something that works. So I’ve realized that until I find something that works better, it would be foolish of me to stop what I’m doing and try doing it differently, or to try and do something else.

    I don’t know how George is making $200-500 per site, but I believe part of it has to do with the niche/products he’s promoting.. I’ve recently come to find out that my supposedly low conversions are ACTUALLY NORMAL for this niche!! I’ve seen in the affiliate area for a product in my niche PPC conversions of that product vs the other products and they have all been in the range of 1:150 – 1:450.

    I’m going to keep doing this for as long as I can find good niche keywords to snatch up. But ya, If I can find keywords for products with higher commission points I”ll definitely jump on that.

    Hi Mike,

    I wasn’t implying you need to stop, just throwing ideas out there. I would take that $700 a month too. I’m on vacation next week so I looking forward to getting some sites up myself.

    Hey thanks Deb, glad you’re enjoying it.

    Joseph, ya, thanks..throwing up sites can become an addiction :> I suppose that’s what you’d want to happen, it’s addictive seeing hops go up.

    Is UAW worth it? How much does it cost? Would a free article submitter be ok or would you recommend using UAW? Is there also a better one than UAW?
