My sites seem to have come back in their positioning (First page) after Mayday, but the income has continued to be about half of what it was.
Any thoughts?
Wasn’t your adsense at like $60 or something. Strange. Also i did like $22 and $27 vs avg $30 the whole week so yea that was weird.

Ive noticed the same thing, sites havent lost position in the SERPS, if anything they have gained higher rankings since mayday, but income was cut in half. not sure what thats all about. i did notice the go0gle is starting to place more non-relevant ADs on some of my top producing sites. not sure why they would be doing this.

Ya, just a holiday thing, maybe I should put this in the FAQ. Whenever there is a holiday there is a drop in adsense, it’s happened several times before, it’s nothing new/nothing to worry about…

All this happened to a great many people around the beginning of June, due to Mayday…One of the things Mayday addressed was long tail traffic. Each site is getting less long tail traffic and thus the halving of income.

hey mikeman, my traffic has actually increased since mayday but my income still got cut in half. my conclusion is that go0gle is placing more non-relevant ADs than usually, thus resulting in less clicks obviously, dont know why they would do this, any thoughts?

Weird, I’m seeing something totally different.
My income was cut in half along with my impressions, so for me it is a traffic issue…If my impressions were double what they are now, given my ecpm, I’d be right back where I was pre-Mayday.

yeah i dont know what the deal is. pre-mayday i was getting around 800 impressions a day, now its averaging about 1500 impressions a day, and income cut in half. kinda disturbing. now i mlooking @ other options. kontera being one of them
