Day 422 – 12 Pages Up + End Of June Totals

Whassup my ninja?

Just put another 12 pages up on my sites..

I also had to let go of a few people but at the same time I hired on a few more, so we’ll see if I can get a few more people submitting content on a regular basis.

Before I get into the totals for June, here were the totals for the 30th:

  • CB = $53.09
  • Adsense = $70.20
  • 2 UAW sales = $53.60 (tnx :>)
  • Total = $176.89

Now here’s a look at the monthly totals for June:

Adsense = $2,142.73 ($3,589.04 last month, decrease of $1,446.31) ~40% decrease
CB = $724.55 GROSS ($1,203.08 last month, decrease of $478.53) ~40% decrease
CB = $674.72 NET ($1,040.56 last month, decrease of $365.84)
Hops = 5,357 (7,362 last month)
Gross Sales = 31 (52 last month)
Net Sales = 28 (46 last month)
Refunds = 3 totaling $49.83 (6 last month totaling $162.52)
15 UAW sales/renewals = $402.00
1 BLS sale/renewal = $29.10
Human Rewriter = $148.40 (tnx :>)
eBay = $9.94 CAN ($9.37 US)

Grand Total = $3,406.32 ($5,201.93 last month)

So, about 1.8k less than last month, that was the bottom line of the whole Mayday fiasco for me…Good thing things are picking back up a bit though.

    Anyway still good income Mike!

    Mine gross is 3407,38$ (+4.25$ that I forgot to add). Things being equal, let’s see how that goes in the next month ))

    I asked my aff managers and everybody’s seeinga drop in sales volume, this might be seasonal cooldown since people are on vacations etc..

    Wow – that is a big decline. In our family business, every summer is this way. Last year we did about 35% lower volume, some weeks were worse than that.

    I imagine things will pickup, especially come September. Overall, though, good #s. Glad it’s picking back up!

    Now maybe this blog is earning it’s keep. You made almost as much in referrals as you did from CB. Hopefully CB will pick up again, I hear alot of people complaining. I only have one site but despite an increase in visitors and hops, no additional sales.

    Pretty good Anton, ya…we’ll see what happens.. I have a feeling the drop in CB sale swas due to Mayday as well though.

    @JamestheJust on Elance

    Well, the only way for things to pickup is for me to GROW the business faster really…I wouldn’t allow myself to be swept around by the tides of seasons/holidays or whatnot.

    If it takes my income dropping to new lows for that to happen, well, I can’t say I’m excited about that :/

    Best way to combat this is just build, build, build..

    its also that time of the year. people are outside and on vacation.
    id bet a big percentage on that.
    was there a big decline between may/june of 2009?
    i have been in sales my entire life and june/july/august are always the slowest months of the year.
    (i know this isnt exactly sales, but i think part of it applies)
    you will be back rolling in it soon! enjoy the summer!

    Ya, it’s not due to that man…It’s due to Mayday. Do a Google search on it, it’s an algo change by Google that hit a lot of people last month. It hit all sites and cut the income of each one of my sites by 1/2..

    Not worried though :> Just a matter of building more…
