Day 407 – Dealing With Outsourcer Training + 15 New KWs

June 16th, 2010

Just researched another 15 keywords for 3 of my sites(5 each)…I now have researched an additional 5 pages for 33 of my sites…I think I’ll do an extra 5 pages for about 100 of my 228 odd adsense sites then re-assess.

Aside from that, I’ve been spending time talking with my outsourcers, making sure they understand the instructions I’ve laid out for them and also looking over the first articles they’ve returned to me thus far.

Whenever you hire new outsourcers, there is always a learning curve for them to get their writing to look the way you want it to.  You can have your instructions laid out perfectly and send that to them and still get back something which doesn’t follow them to your liking.  You basically have to take each person on a case by case basis, see what their strengths and weaknesses are and give them pointers/suggestions individually.

Some of the issues that you’ll commonly find when you hire people on is their writing not appearing to be on par with what you’d have expected after reading their samples and messages in their correspondence with you.  Another issue may be that they do not do sufficient research and the whole article looks like it was just written off the top of their head.  Yet another issue could be that they inserted the keyword one too many times…

Then of course there are outsourcers who don’t stay in communication and/or don’t do the work you’ve assigned them on time.  It’s inevitable that when you outsource you will encounter this, and you just have to learn to deal with it.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $26.38
  • Adsense = $67.82
  • UAW Renewal = $26.80 (tnx :>)
  • Total = $121.00

    Hey mike, love your blog/posts.

    By chance, do you have websites with PR of 2+. If so you may want to look into textlinkads.com if you haven’t heard of them.

    Could be a great source of additional income.

    Best of luck and keep raising the bar!

    Looks like this has become a routine job for you instead of making the business work for you.

    Mike, have you done an audit on your clickbank sniper sites? Was wondering how they are doing rankings wise since Mayday. I never really got into the clickbank sniping as I hate clickbank. I would imagine they would have been hit hard too due to the minial content recommended in google sniper.

    @Gary

    He had the business working for him without doing anything serious on it for several months. With this business you only work when you want to grow your business. Mike could stop working right now and maintain the same(now lower) income for probably years.

    @Yiannis

    lol hey..

    @B2mfnk

    Hey thanks…hadn’t heard about that.

    @jamie

    Haha!

    Ya Jamie, I’ve talked about this already, I’m not interested in analyzing all my sites and finding out what the change in rankings have been..whatever, what’s done is done…just going to focus on building up my good sites and backlinking ’em because regardless of what’s happened, that’s all I can do.

    @Gary

    Troll elsewhere.
