Day 405 – 25 KW’s Researched + Outsourcers

June 14th, 2010

Just researched another 25 keywords.Β  I’m in the process of hiring quite a few writers right now, just interviewing them.. I could wind up with 3 or 4 content writers it seems in addition to my 1 re-writer(who has sent me the first bit of assigned work just today)…I could go looking for more re-writers as well, but I don’t want to have all those people to manage just yet.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $58.23 – 1 sale for authority site#1, 1 sale for a CB sniper
  • Adsense = $65.12
  • Total = $123.35

    It’s interesting how despite the loss of adsense revenue clickbank still seems to be on track to making you some money this month ( as usual). It’s been more than a year almost since you worked on those websites! I’ll definitely have to consider it eventually to add another income source for myself… Adsense is so unreliable

    @Alex
    Well said. I think if mike concentrated on clickbank. Then he may be earning more then 200-300$ per day. No one knows untill executed.

    The clickbank snipers make me wonder if domain age plays a much more important role now. How are your oldest adsense snipers comparing to the newer ones mike? Comparing them to what they were making before may anyways.

    Hello Mike, my sites were also hit by mayday…just frustrating..anyways, have you checked your clickbank snipers if they too got hit..or is it just the adsense ones?

    Miguel –

    From your lack of participation in your blog, I have to surmise you are:

    A) Engrossed in Stargate…
    B) At the gym (you need to chill out on that fitness stuff, living in Canada, you need some insulation man…)
    C) Too busy wagging and have no time left for barking.

    I’m guessing “C”. Taking notes. Getting back to work.

    …let’s pretend I addressed you as “Mike.”

    @calfred

    Hey thanks Calfred, ya, mindset is very key…

    In building your business, you will eventually come to a point where things will click. The thing is, you could be making $300, 1k or 2k a month and not have things click yet…you may think that you can’t duplicate it over again, or you may not be sure how to..

    However, if you work at it long enough and work persistently, you will eventually reach a point where you understand the steps and amount of work you need to do on a daily basis in order to build your business to higher levels month after month.

    I reached that place..and am confident in my ability to grow things back, even though now it will not be through building more and more sites, but rather building up existing sites. As long as I focus on getting out a TON of content through outsourcing and then backlinking as many pages as I can, income should go up.

    @Alex

    Ya, it seems like Clickbank income remains pretty unaffected, which is strange as those were snipers too.. I usually make 1-1.5k/month, last month was 1k and from how things are progressing, it looks like this month will also be 1k.

    Adsense is still very consistent on a day by day basis even post Google update though….I just can’t bank on $100 days, but instead at least $50 days.

    @All Is Well

    Ya, thanks man, hope things pick up once I get my outsourcing going..

    and ya, strange how the CB income wasn’t affected by all this…

    @Anton

    Ya, I’m thinking it will be content + more backlinks…we’ll see..

    @Josh

    Well, I made most of my clickbank sites summer of last year…For my adsense sites, I made a good chunk of those Sept-Dec. If age is an issue, I’d find out in a matter of 3-6 months, although with me now adding content and backlinking, that’s going to skew things as any return of income will likely be due to that.

    Oh, just realized you said how ARE they instead of how old…Well…I can tell you that some of my older(and larger) adsense sites have been affected by this and I have newer sites that although have taken a hit, are still ranking well and pulling consistently, just less long tail traffic across the board I guess…so ya, don’t know if that is a big factor.

    @jamie

    Honestly couldn’t tell you off the top off my head…I haven’t been using WordPress for some time. All I know is it’s not hard to figure out, maybe someone else here knows..

    @Vince

    That sucks man….Well..I haven’t checked rankings, but I can say that my CB income seems relatively unaffected, so it would seem like they’re fine.

    @JamestheJust on Elance

    Haha! Ya man, replying on my blog takes up quite a bit of my time…especially if I have to do some research into my sites or something in order to answer the questions.

    I’ve also been hitting the gym(more cardio, it’s summer) and been busy other misc. social activities too.

    @jamie
    Those will disappear as soon as you put any widget on the sidebar. Until then they just kinda hang out for demo purposes I guess.

    @Yiannis
    Yep I’m testing some 2-tier PPC and find that some CPA offers convert well with some networks.

    SEO sales are also good now, time to build more sites!
