Day 40 – Long Night…
June 14th, 2009

Well, I was out for most of the day today and I ended up staying out way longer than I had planned…
I absolutely HATE it when I let a day go by without getting work done, so I tried to get some work done once I got home but my brain just didn’t want to work! I did manage to find 5 articles from EzineArticles to promote as GoArticles, and transferred them over though.
I’ll be back to business as usual tomorrow….

Mike
Hey just got to your blog today; I come here everyday because you inspire me to work everyday and keep testing and tweaking to see what actually works.
I just picked up Steven Aylor’s back linking method. I spent a few hours registering for some sites and reading the tutorial. I have to say I tend to believe that this will help me with all my sites.
Will be back tomorrow!
Susan
@Susan
Hey Susan, glad you’re finding the postings of help :>
Ya, the reason I use Steve’s sites over Angela’s is because with a lot of the one Steve lists, you can create 10 or so links at a time for each site you sign up to(via the blog’s blogroll)…whereas with Angela, you can only get away with maybe 2 per site.
As far as which backlinks work better to boost articles, I don’t know that as of yet, who knows, maybe Angela’s links work better than Steve’s, that’s something I haven’t tested…but I’d rather start with 10 links/site and see how that goes first.
As far as registering for sites, are you using Roboform?…when I sign up for the sites, I just create a new “identity” in Roboform, fill that in with name, email, password etc.. and by just clicking 1 button I automatically fill in the whole signup form…that’s how I’m able to get through creating backlinks with 15 of those sites in around 1h 15 min.

Do you create a new identity with each site that you submit; or are you just posting a bunch of sites to the same account?
I have Robo form; however I haven’t been using it. I only set up one account; but wondering if I should create a new account for each site?
@Susan
Everytime I’m going to bookmark a new batch of 10-11 links, I create a new gmail account, create a new identity in Roboform for the filling out of the sign-up forms, then I go ahead and sign up for a new account at the sites I’m going to get backlinks from..
You can create copies of previous identities and then just change a few details like the email address name and display name and that makes it easier…
Hey Mike,
I notice you use Steve’s backlinks instead of Paul’s? Have the tried Paul’s backlinks very similar to Angela’s? They say it’s a perfect complement.
@jb
Hey JB, the reason I use Steve’s over Angela’s or Paul’s is because with Steve’s, a lot of his links show you sites where you can create a blog with a “blog log” which basically allows you to insert 10 links and anchor texts all into 1 profile.
So the question is, why build backlinks to only 2 or maybe 3 of your sites at a time when you can build 10-11 at a time(1 link in the blog post, 10 in the blog roll)?
Mike – I’m 1/2 way through Paul’s June links and so far none of them are for blogs.
@Shelly
Ya, you can’t exactly drop 10 links in a comment. So backlinking isn’t as fast..
If you’re building up varied backlinks to the main domain of a small # of your authority websites, then I can see the value in going through all those packets and leaving 2 links per comment at each site…
but if building backlinks to many sites or many different articles/web 2.0 properties, it’s better to be able to do 10-11 a shot via blog logs.
Mike – That’s what I was trying to say. Paul’s June links so far (I’m still 1/2 way through) are NOT for blogs they are for blog type sites. I’ve been leaving 12 links at a time!
Haha.. That’s crazy how you get mad because you didn’t get any work done. I feel you on that. It sucks when a day goes by and you could of used it to work on your websites.
