Day 386 – Adsense Sniper #217
May 26th, 2010
The last samurai…
Put up another adsense sniper today…Once I get through posting all of these up, it will probably be another 2 months before I see any change income-wise from them, that’s how long it usually takes for new sites to kick in.
Earnings For Today:
- CB = $16.61
- Adsense = $110.48
- Total = $127.09

So, do you recommend a sit-n-wait approach? Twiddle your thumbs for the next two months to see if/when they produce a change, and then sweat it out until then? Perhaps pace back and forth, even a little palm sweat?
I have noticed a 2 month curve as well.
Also, that bear is awesome! I wonder if it just started doing that or if someone trained it(somehow).
I’ve decided to take another route – setup 11 asense sites (planned 20 but have problems with my writers now) and promote them and see how my estimated search volumes and competition stacks up against the reality.
Now I’m tracking the progress (not daily but will post sometimes) and see which niches respond better to clicks, traffic volumes, difficulty of geting to the top. Not everything will be uncovered though ) but I think it’s iteresting. Already had my biggest adsense day of 9+$ from 11 clicks from fresh new site, and yesterday 2,5+$ click from another site.
Adsense is definitely an interesting game!
@JamestheJust on Elance
Heh, you know I don’t…just execute your system on the site and move on..
It seems like at the 2 month mark though that the domain age helps boost the site a bit or something, as I’ve noticed sites I’ve only done the basic BMD/Digg/RSS on have seen boosts at around this mark.
@Josh
haha, ya…who knows.
@Anton
Ya, writer problems, always seem to pop up :/
Congrats on the success man!
Mikeman or loyal Mike-mens!
Got any advice on Adsens3 showing irrelevant ads? My top performing site started showing some weird ads…and I haven’t change a thing on my site.
Ex:
Paintball Guns site
Ads: Self defense & tasers (they use to show paintball related ads)
Any advice would be great!
BTW the bear got skillz!
Long back i read one thing on some blogs. He had language related site but showing the ads of guitar. On drill down he understand he has strings language also. So, google showing ads for guitar. Like this add or remove. If ads are relevant ur site.
@DC
Hey DC, you can add domains to your “competitive ad filter” so that ads from that domain don’t show on your site…
