Nice methods man. I want to try those too. I heard infobarrel is another good one like hubpages. I don't know if you want me to link you but I know makemoneyonlinewithseo.com is doing like $100/day with hubpages adsense. Not bad at all for being residual income.

It's nice you have your sniper sites already working because that's also residual and you'll just keep getting money from it.

<a href="#comment-562" rel="nofollow">@Ben</a>

Ya Ben, I sent it there, check your spam..

As far as Clickbank gravity, a low gravity for a clickbank product just means that not that many people are promoting it and thus not that many people are earning a commission...Low gravity doesn't correlate to low levels of competition.

I'm guessing you mean marketing products in obscure niches where because it's so obscure the CB product has low gravity? I usually go for products that have at least a gravity of 50. But if you know how to spot a good converting landing page, even if a product has a low gravity, you can still happen across one which you can make good money off of, it's just you're taking more of a gamble as you don't have the social proof to back up the profitability of that product.

<a href="#comment-553" rel="nofollow">@ben</a>

For my sniper sites I've been using a simple theme, nothing too flashy...George suggests just the basic Wordpress theme, so if in doubt use that.

I've been doing it a bit different from George in that I've been making the review of the product as a static front page so that it is always displayed when reaching the main domain. The welcome post and tip post are only accessible through the side menu.

I also as Georoge has done, put a picture up on a column on the right side of the screen with a brief description of that person and their troubles(depending on the product being sold)..

As far as links to the CB product, I have 3 links...one at the beginning, one in the middle, one at the end..they're all long, bolded and stand out.

Thus far I've only been promoting Clickbank products because I like seeing the bars get longer and longer as I grow my business:>

BTW, check your e-mail

Yea, I know there feeling. I have a bunch of experients to do, but I'm currently so busy with my hub page experiment. Next month I hope to get going on the sniper click bank thing.

What sort of layout do you use for sniper sites? Simple picture with text and a few links to clickbanks for that product or a sort of BAN's style list of 5/4 links + pictures to different products in a niche?

I've heard a lot of people use the click bank market place to find the products to promote? I usually just think of a niche then find products in it -- I don't like trying to pick out products that another 100k people are looking at too..

Thanks for the tips!

<a href="#comment-544" rel="nofollow">@Ben</a>

Hey Ben, I'm not ranking #1 for all the keywords I choose, but I am ranking on page 1 for the vast majority of them...

The keywords I'm ranking on page 1 for are not necessarily long tails or ultra long tails...I'm ranking VERY easily(like next day easy) for some 2 word keywords(some of which I've taken page 1, #1 for)...It all comes down to the amount of competition for the keyword (when checked in quotes) and the level of competition on page 1(each site's PR & Backlinks).

Ya 3 months to get to 2nd page is brutal...with the sniper sites I've made, the longest I've had to wait to get page 1 rankings(assuming I've chosen a good keyword) is a little over a week.

100-200 sniper sites, damn, that's a tall order...I know there are a lot of people other than George who do this and have hundreds of domain names (George has less than 50 and is getting 10k/month).

At the moment I kinda have my hands full with the Sniper Sites and learning George & Alex's new method, but I'd definitely be open to hearing more about your experience with the hub method :> ...I'll send you an e-mail..

Yea, sounds pretty good. I have not been playing around with clickbank at all. I normally create sniper adsense sites (something like that colorado lastek eye site you saw -- though that's court's).

If you are ranking #1 just by having the keyword in your domain name, you must be picking ultra long tails or long tails with virtually no competition. Of course, this depends on the niche. I have ultra long tails in something like skin care and it took me 3 months of backlink work to even get onto the second page. Other sites are further than that, lol.

What sort of exact match traffic are you targeting?

I'm going to create 100-200 of these sniper sites next month. What I've found, at least with hubs, is just having a sheer number of hubs gets you a decent income. I have over 300 now, but with about 100 I was pulling in a good 7-11 bucks on income a day. But, hubs are picky. If you pick the wrong niches you won't make anything. You also can't treat the the way you would say a niche blog. I mean you can, but you can still make money without ranking at all. Send me an email and I'll help you out, if you are interested in making money with hubs. With your work effort, you should be able to, in as little as a month or two.

Haha, I like that -- you give me some tips for making money with click bank, and I help you make money with hubs ;)

Nice Ben! That's awesome you're seeing those kinds of results from your hubs, I'm guessing that's from 100 hubs?

Ya, the Sniper Site method is currently the best way of making money online that I've found thus far...For each site, all I do is post a welcome message, a tip post, then I post a review of the product as my final post(I actually make this a static front page and I put it up only after my site is indexed)...often times I wind up on page 1 of google the very next day.

Aside from that there are the basic contact us/privacy policy/about us pages, but that's all I've done and that's all I've ever had to do to rank on page 1.

To help further stabilize them though, I bookmark them with Bookmarking Demon, submit their RSS feeds, create a Digg and Friendfeed backlink, then do a UAW submission..

Very interesting stuff Mike. I like your no-nonsesne approach to making money. Most people don't make money beccause they don't really want to work hard.

I've been doing MMO experiements to test out different methods of generating cash online. I participated in the 100 hubs in 30 day challenge and I'm making a killing right now (I had a 45 dollar adsense day yesterday for example).

Next month I'm thinking of launching another experiement -- I'm thinking 100 click bank sniper sites in a month or 100 ebay niches. I was actually going to do exactly what you are doing now. I'm delighted to see that it's a valid model. I think I will go with the clickbank idea.

How much content do you have with each sniper site? I was thinking of personally posting 5 or so pages per wordpress blog, but I wouldn't mind cutting back to a single page to save time.

Jeremy, I haven't yet gotten started on the GoArticles, however when I do I'm not planning on changing the anchor text...

I've had Steve's backlinks outsourced before and had 100 backlinks built for one of my websites using the same anchor text, and while there was some "Google Dancing" going on after building all those backlinks, which I expected, there were no adverse effects...

After those backlinks were built, I ended up ranking #1 for my keyword for a short time, then dropped below where I ranked originally, and now finally has settled back pretty much where it was to begin with.
