@Kelly
CPA would be differentiated from PPC in that PPC = $ = click. CPA = $ = action, usually a sale of some item, or signing up to an opt-in list or service, rather (Cost Per Leads)...

Commission Junction, Shareasale, even Amazon and Ebay are examples. There are tons of those services out there, and believe me: they work. The thing is, it requires more work/pre-sale strategy to close a sale vs. the click on the only shiny object on the page (the PPC ad).

CPA is cost per action. Its some form of affiliate program. I don't know much about how it actually works though

Making multiple adsense accounts breaks the TOS(if I recall correctly) but you can do it by setting up a LLC and renting a mailbox then applying to google. Other people do it just by setting up an account for one of their friends or family members(though I imagine this can create tax problems).

What is CPA?

Also, I know this has been answered previously but I cannot find it-Do you guys set up multiple account through hostgator and google? Are you allowed to do that w/ your ads3nse accounts?

@Kai Lo
about the gatorade bottle. If it was considered a junk site by google, why didn't they deindex it? Why just ban the adsense account? My theory:

- his adsense account was banned because he broke the TOS = clicked his ads, encouraged others to do so etc etc
- why are lots of people complaining about sites that have been deindexed? = has anyone actually seen an example site that was deindexed? I don't think so... my conclusion is that anyone who had their site indexed was involved in dodgy practices, or had spun/duplicate type content. I will believe this until i see an example of a site that has been deindexed.

I think if you simply write relevant content about the keyword, you are safe, no matter how helpful it is. Who is to say what someone wants when they search for something? Just because a guy searches for gatorade bottles, it doesn't mean he wants to buy them.

The internet is far too big for google to become the quality police, as long as you dont do anything naughty, I would not worry. If you are generating clicks that convert, then everyone is happy.

@JamestheJust on Elance

lol, ya...would be nice to see an increase.

@Tony

haha, np...there's a new Nightmare on Elm Street out now..

@Hann

Hann, I won't be answering all those questions, all I'll say is that I'm going to spend less time building sites and more time beefing up the ones I already have.

@Kai Lo

Hey, my progress is on the previous day's earnings..

@ozieoz

For the inner page, you want to pick it like you would for any other page..except I go as low as 300 searches/month. Also at times I can't find a good kw, in that case I just pick any old one with no intention of ranking for it to meet my quota. At the least it will pull long tail traffic.

@ganhe dinheiro online

Thanks man..

I outsource all article writing these days...as far as keyword research and putting the content up though, i do that on my own..

I did do CPA almost a year and a half ago, made $100/day on Youtube and another $100/day with Classified ads. I stopped and decided to setup a more solid business which generated more passive income. But ya, CPA is damn good, easier to get sales than with CB.

Hey Mike,

Great numbers men. you are definitely an inspiritation for us, your dedication says a lot about where you want to go. quick 2 questions.

I know that you outsource most or all of the article writing, and I am starting to do that as well, is just not possible to control every aspect of this business. Now in regards to the site creation (keyword research, content and putting them up) do you do all by yourself? I would assume so, just to protect your niches and even thought human rewrite is pretty darn good, the content of the snipets are sacred thus demanding your own attention.

second, have you ever tried your hand at CPA? don't know much about it, but most of the people that does it, swears by it saying that is better than anything..

Regards,

I think hiring a lawyer over a site that earns at most $100 a month(?) is a little over the top.

I'm pretty sure they have no legal ground to make you give them the domain however. All they can do is give you a cease and desist and force you to take it down.

Then again, I'm not a lawyer.

Try the law library if you don't want to hire an attorney just yet. That's all the lawyers do anyway. Mine always sends me 'cuz he doesn't like to do the grunt work.

At least you will know where you stand.

As a suggestion, maybe you can work out some kind of a deal... after all, you know how to get on the first page of google. That must be worth something. There must be statutes that cover this sort of thing.
