Day 354 – 3 UAW Submissions(24 Total)

April 24th, 2010

Got another 3 submissions today…

I also spent time creating a new theme within XSite Pro 2.Β  I altered the colors, added more menu options on the front page and, put it on one of my larger sites.Β  I’m going to see how well it converts over the next week or so, if it does well, I’m going to apply it to more sites.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $26.38
  • Adsense = $118.58
  • Total = $144.96

Am I correctly remembering you attribute a large amount of your success to “keeping yourself accountable” via the daily blogging?

I think I’m gonna have to follow your example in this despite my reluctance to have a personal blog… It’s been weeks since I “knew” I had to get started cranking out the sites and I’m yet to even get my first done πŸ™ I’m always finding some distraction pushing me back to tomorrow, and of course tomorrow never comes!

I think that has to do with figuring out exactly what stuff you need to learn and get clear on before you can start.

For example – I wasn’t sure how to use Xsite Pro to make those sites and that was keeping me from making them, one day I sat down and figured it out – made my first one, then just kept making them.

But before I got my hands on Xfactor’s book I didn’t even know how to approach this adsense stuff… there was just so many unknown things to learn and master. Like – what template to use, what niches to target, etc.

Now that it’s all clear to me I can work without procrastination and hesitation.

So figure out what those “blocks” are and fuck em up! πŸ™‚ lol.

Keeping yourself accountable is crucial to developing the right habits that will lead to success…if you’re not working on your business everyday and getting something notable accomplished, you need to do this.

It seems like you need to find a strong enough reason as to why you need to do this business…that’s usually brought on by something emotional like losing your job/having a baby/being absolutely disgusted with where you work etc.. If you have that, everything else comes natural.

Considering your situation though, having a blog would help you out for sure, once you get started though, don’t break the chain, you need to update every single day without fail.

    @All Is Well

Ya, me too :p I don’t know how long it will take…the backlinking I’m doing now is a departure from what I normally do..I normally focus on backlinking the main domain which has worked out well for me in the past..

This is my first foray into ‘seriously’ backlinking up my inner pages…so I’m not sure what to expect..it may take longer to realize any improvement in income due to this.
