Day 349 – 3 UAW Submissions

April 19th, 2010

Got 9 total UAW submissions done..some of the first few I did are now approved and should be going out starting tomorrow…

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $31.85
  • Adsense = $127.61 – This is why you don’t need to freak out over low days, things always come around..especially if you’re focused on growth…Really, if your income is dropping or not where you want it to be, it’s a simple equation, add more backlinks and build more sites.
  • Total = $159.46

    Whew! Your blog is like an IM’ers “Real World.”

    ((Will Mikeman have another 3 digit day today? Will he hit $200 again? What does Mikeman wear while kicking arse and taking names? Will Mikeman pimp my PC?))

    It’s always good to see you in the 3 digit range, my friend. For some weird reason, you got mojo. It puts a smile on my face to see it.

    (tears up, slaps himself. grabs gun, looks for furry animal to terrorize. realizes he doesn’t own a gun and gets back to work on Elance project.)

    Hi Mike,

    am very happy to join your blog and got some q for you .

    when i do my research for the keyword do i need to look at exact or phrase ?

    would you recommend going after .net ,.org. .us , etc domains or stick more with .com . i know you said in one of your post you don’t like adding a word to the beginning of the domain as it could hurt you seo?

    i have researched this keyword and chose it to be my first ad sense domain and need your feedback ( i have already done the research as far as competition and other factors. this one is more of a product niche focused

    “Baldwin Acrosonic Piano”

    Lastly , I wish you all success and above all this i wish you la aaaave

    🙂

    @JamestheJust on Elance

    Hah, ya, it’s rare that I’m not in the 3 digits…it all balances out at the end of the month though..

    @ozieoz

    -only go for .com/org/net
    -go for com if you can first, but most of the time it’s gone…I like to go for org 2nd and net 3rd, although honestly, despite this hierarchy, I find they all rank equally well.
    -only go for exact match domains

    As for your keyword, there is another sniper ranking on page 1 for it, which is normally a good sign as it means you can take it..however…this site is a PR2 and has 941 backlinks which means you can’t say you will rank for sure just because another sniper is there as this sniper has tons of backlinks and decent PR.

    However…looking at the rest of the competition on page 1, you’ve got 5 PR N/A’s and 1 PR 0, that is a WIDE open field for you, you can for sure grab a top spot with such light competition.

    This also has 4.4k exact searches(& 2.4k local) which is good, however one downside here is that the CPC is $1.00 and Spyfu shows the bidding price as $0.39 – $0.99, which is a *bit* on the low side. It’s *just* passable I guess, but I wouldn’t expect it to be a big cash cow…it could still turn out to be an OK earner though.

    @Tim

    Thanks man

    thanks mike , so for an Ok earner , how much you think min can bring in a single day and also when i check my keyword with Google keyword tool , if lets say it was showing more number for the local search as opposed to the national number how should i go bout choosing which number to go with. Thanks MILLION

    @ozieoz

    I’m only guessing, I can’t give you any numbers, only way to find out how much it earns is by building it and backlinking it up sufficiently…

    I always go by Global…unless the local is ridiculously low in comparison to the global, then that could be a warning sign.

    I’m not sure if you covered this, but I have a question about inner pages. No.1, we try to get ranked for the ‘keyword’ which is also the exact domain name. No. 2. We try to do something with the inner pages

    Should the inner pages be a similar keyword to the main keyword and we do UAW’s for those keywords individually and try to build up the entire site that way, or stick with the original keyword.

    Thanks,

    Bill

    PS… Good work, Mike

    Hi Mike

    Do you rewrite your Ezine to UAW? What is the process? I read your FAQ….but not sure. Is it write to human rewriter 3 artciles best one to Ezine and then all 3 back to UAW? or only 2 to UAW? Doesnt Ezine need Unique and UAW?

    Thanks alot

    @Bill

    Thanks Bill,

    The inner keyword should be one of the related keywords you find when you do a search on your keyword…

    Preferably it should be a keyword with low competition where you could get the page to #1 in Google with a UAW run..However, that’s not always possible. So seeing as how each of your sites must have 5 pages, if you can’t find good keywords with low competition, just pick whatever to meet your 5 page quota…worst case, they will bring in a small amount of long tail traffic.

    As you can see, right now I am doing inner page UAW submissions to see if I can get more of my inner pages ranking and bringing me in more money….at first though you should only bother running UAW on your main domain’s kw though.

    @ozieoz

    :> np man…

    For analyzing competition, you DON’T search in quotes…you search for your keyword with no quotes, that is your true 1st page competiton.

    You only check in quotes to see how many other sites have built sites optimized to your keyword…

    The number that is shown when you do a search in quote changes over time, so if I said it was 20k in quotes, it might be a different number now when you try it.

    Look here: Results 1 – 10 of about ______ for dickies bags
