Day 34 – Time For A Change

I mentioned before that I still have a long way to go before I’m earning a full time income online…

I had also mentioned that it seems like for every 50 sniper sites I create, I’m earning around $500.  I decided to find out exactly what the ratio is by checking my sales from 2009-5-07 to 2009-6-07 and this is what I found:

Not including the last few sniper sites I just created that haven’t had time to rank, I have 56 sniper sites and in the last month they have generated $574.07 in sales.

It seems like my estimation was pretty close, 50 sniper sites = $500/month.  Now this is a far cry from making $300+/month per sniper site as George mentions he makes.. Now, I’d still take $500/month for 50 sniper sites, but that made me wonder if I’d fare better with adsense sniper sites…I was thinking if I could just get an average of $1/day for 50 sites, I’d make $50/day which is  $1500/month, 3 times what I make from Clickbank sales…

That’s just hypothetical though, I don’t know how well they would do..

But, I’m not going to be making Adsense sniper sites(at this time), I’ve decided on something else for now.  You see, as you know from my updates, I have basically been trying to get my money by working hard…It’s worked, I mean, I’ve gone from making $300/month to $1200/month in 3 months time.  However I feel that I could make MUCH more progress with less blood, sweat and tears with a different model…

The good thing about having generated this $1000/month income stream is now there are plenty of new opportunities for me to use this monthly seed money to expand my business further.  I thought about Outsourcing as well as PPC(adsense/facebook)..I can remember earlier when I wasn’t making that much money, these were things I did NOT want to try at all as the risk of losing money was a big issue.  However, once you get to the point where you’re making a good chunk of money online, it’s almost as if it’s free money to experiment with…So if you’re the type to push those options to the side, as you make more money online, you will find those doors will open up…

Now what I eventually decided on trying is something that I was actually shown before, but didn’t realize how powerful it was until I looked into the sales page and responses a bit deeper, it’s a WSO by Jeremey Kelsall called the Easy Bank Method:

www.warriorforum.com/warrior-special-offers-forum/85057-easy-bank-method-filling-your-pockets-cash-doesnt-get-any-easier.html

The thing which made me take notice was the fact that apparently 10 people are already earning $200+/day with this method and that they also have a forum created to support people who are trying this out.  Additionally, this is created by Jeremy & Zerofill who are reputable guys who only release good quality WSO’s so I decided to give it a shot.

I spent the day reading through most of the forum which took a long time as it’s 5 pages long and filled with tons of posts.  I learned a lot about the method, saw that some people implemented it with success, while others implemented it but have yet to make a sale (as with any program).

It looks like this will be particularly tough for me as I’m in Canada and this works best for those in the US.  Although Jeremy says you can still do this if you don’t live in the US, I noticed several people outside the US complaining about getting their US newspaper campaigns setup.  I think one way I might be able to work around this troublesome point is if I actually call the newspapers rather than deal with e-mail, I would need to get a US calling card for that.

Well, I’m going to give it a go and see how it works out…some people are not only making $200/day, but $400 and $700/day(with ad spends of $10-$50 or so) and the fact that this can be easily scaled up even further than that is what makes it VERY interesting.  If I can find the right places to target with this technique, I can suddenly be getting $200/days myself, it looks like it’s just going to be a matter of how many misses you take before finding that 1 big hit.

So for now, my main priority is going to be figuring this new system out and putting it in place…when I can find the time to spare though, I’ll work on a sniper site, which by the way, I now have 5 of them in the newest sniper niche up and indexed, I spent today posting the review page to most of them…None of them have reached the front page as of yet though…

Earnings For Today:

  • $63.35 = 1 Sale from the main sniper niche for $16.61, 2 Sales for Site #1($20.36 + $26.38)
  • Adsense = $2.14
  • Hops = 410

    Hmmm…

    I’ve had the exact line of thinking about the adsense sites. How hard would it be to make a dollar per day per site? I don’t think very hard.

    I’ll spend some time setting some up to see what happens.

    I’ve also toyed with the Easy Bank method…lol… but haven’t tried it yet since one of my problems is focus, and I need to get my income a bit higher before I try new things.

    This shall be exciting. I can’t wait to hear about your results!

    I assume with an adsense snipe site you would only have a few pages of content? I have always heard that small sites for adsense could be considered “made for adsense” sites and potentially cause Google to shut down your adsense account. Have you heard differently?

    Mike – I think the Easy Bank Method could make you some serious money. Do you plan on following the Easy Bank Method’s plan completely or are you going to do your own version of it? I’d like to try this method also but I sound like a little girl. Ugh….

    Mike:
    Be careful with this method. There is ‘someone’ who made a post that ‘claims’ to be making $ – and Jeremy ‘thanked’ him. This ‘person’ is actually one of Jeremy’s Pen names in ezinearticles. This caused me much concern if Jeremy’s answer to complaints on his forum was to ‘fake’ a testimonial. It make me wonder about the other ‘testimonials’ as there was only guy who was obviously legit (he posts alot on WF).

  5. June 8th, 2009 at 11:55 | #5

    Mike I have been doing the easy bank method for 3 weeks now…not one sale and I have invested about $100.00 for the advertising recommended in it. It is a lot harder than it seems!! Several of those people got lucky one shot hits and have been unable to reproduce the same results. There have only been about 5 people that have posted on the forum to say they have made anything from it.

    I think it is a very good method but it takes alot of time in tweaking to get it just right.

  6. June 8th, 2009 at 12:04 | #6

    @Carrie
    I’m not sure what google would consider as “made for adsense” sites but from what I have seen, blogs with about 10 posts seem to be ok for Google to qualify as quality sites.

  7. June 8th, 2009 at 12:26 | #7

    Oh and Mike, you could make more than a dollar a day per site if you build a website that has keywords with high CPC. I have seen some CPCs at $12.00 per click!

    June 8th, 2009 at 12:34 | #8

    Evita, Well, at this point I know snipering works, however not as well as I had originally thought…will be interesting to see if adsense fares better.

    Carrie, Right, I suppose that would be a concern…I still see made for adsense sites out there, but I guess it’s a slippery slope.

    Shelly, haha *pinches your cheek* I was thinking of either doing the voicemail to website or just plain straight to the website method which apparently DivaGirl at the forum has used with success.

    Nate, Damn, what is Jeremy’s pen name that is posting the testimonial? How can you be sure it’s his? If what you’re saying is true that is disconcerting.

    Sara, Hmm, I read pretty much everything but the first page (I was reading the forum backwards)…it seems like now that a few weeks have gone by some excitement is dying down due to lack of results.

    Well, I was about to give it a serious go, but I’ve got to say I’m wary after hearing all this…

    June 8th, 2009 at 12:40 | #9

    @Sara

    Hey Sara, there are CPC’s that are even higher than that, but you only end up getting a fraction of that. But ya, I have gotten a click that was $2.00 before…as long as it averaged out to $1/site I’d still be happy.

    I suppose there is the whole made for adsense site dilemma. I think one solution would be to do what the guy from the 100 day challenge did, just pull a bunch of Ezine Articles and post them up to your site for more content.

    If he is using ezine articles, how can he get a good ranking in the SEO since it is duplicate content. Just backlinking?

    Mike, are you creating Youtube videos for your sniper sites?

  13. Mikeman
    June 8th, 2009 at 14:01 | #13

    @Sara

    I would assume through good backlinking…If you look at his site you will see he pulled a ton of Ezine Articles..

    You could make them unique if you wanted by adding something to the top and bottom of the article or possibly even using that program which was a WSO recently that can make content unique(forgot what it was called)..

    Christy, no, I totally skip the Youtube video portion, I don’t find that necessary.

  14. June 8th, 2009 at 14:21 | #14

    @Mikeman
    Oh yea, Content Hurricane. I have used it on a new blog to test it out. I am checking to see if adsense can be pick up by the content since it is encoding the text with characters..

  15. June 8th, 2009 at 15:47 | #15

    @Sara

    Yeah, how many pages is okay is kinda the million dollar question for me. There are some keywords which would be fine for a 5-10 page site, but beyond that you run out of content.

    But one thing I am always concerned about is jeopardizing my adsense account. I’ve heard it’s not easy to get a new one.

  16. June 8th, 2009 at 19:41 | #16

    I think the made for adsense sites usually have really junky content on them so as along as you post relevant articles that can be read by humans, I don’t think you have to worry.

    Work on targeted traffic, you got 300-400+ hops and no sales, there’s only one reason, your visitors are’t ready to buy, period! The keyword you choose is gonna have most impact to your conversion rate.

  24. Mikeman
    June 10th, 2009 at 21:03 | #24

    @Yuan

    Some of the keywords I picked were not very targeted..I went after them because there was just so much potential for traffic with the keywords and it was an experiment.

    The only thing is, there are a few keywords which WERE targeted as they even have the word “guide” in them, yet they ended up converting 1:180 ish. For these keywords, the issue is either the product or my site’s copy…

    Hello,

    It seems that some people think that I’ve faked a testimonial? lol

    I would be more than happy to make a video showing that His IP is Pennsylvania and Mine is In Delaware.

    I mentioned in the post that Joe has been with me since my first ever product “step by step niche profits” so yes, I have offered him a great amount of help over the past year including but not limited to letting him use my premium account at EZA — Currently, I’m using his since I cancelled mine a couple months ago…I registered a couple of domains for him and even offered him hosting which he accepted.

    There are testimonials for this product from various warriors making $500+ a day — There is no need to “fake a testimonail”

  26. Jeremy Kelsall
    June 10th, 2009 at 23:42 | #26

    Nate,

    That is not a “fake testimonial”

    Joe Horn is a real person 🙂 and someone that has worked with me and been coached by me since my first product step by step niche profits came out.

    I would be more than happy to make a video showing the IP’s that posted the respective comments to show that one is from Pennsylvania and the other is from Delaware.

    Gotta love conspiracy theories…
    But yeah that dude is real…and every testimonial we ever got was and is real…probably 2 of the few genuine marketers you guys will find left…rare breed.

    Had this link sent to us…

    To be successful you have to work your ass off… We probably get between 100-300 emails and PMs and forum posts a day we have to answer…When I feel I have to come somewhere and place an answer to this kind of stuff…it irritates the hell out of me.

    @zerofill

    Ya Zerofill, I wouldn’t delete your post, it was just stuck in the spam.

    Thanks for the input man, I’ve found this to be the case as well…

    I was recently following George Brown’s Sniper Site method, I even wound up creating more sites than he had and he makes 10k/month with this… and while I did end up getting around $500/month for my 50 sniper sites I created, he told me that I should be seeing those kinds of results from just 1 site :/

    He also mentioned there were other people who have implemented his tactics and developed a full time income already. It was pretty tough hearing that considering all the work I put in.

    Since then I showed him some of my niche sites, they’re apparently good ones as he asked if he could have a crack at them. The idea is he’ll see if he’s able to convert the traffic better and if he can, I’ll be able to basically mirror what he did and hopefully improve my results..

    Thanks again for the support man.

    Yeah I can’t say much about the sniper method…first time I heard of it. Been pretty busy lately. If I knew more about it I might have some ideas…but can’t really say anything as I don’t know what the method revolves around.
