Day 336 – Adsense Sniper #201

April 6th, 2010

If you’ve ever played Starcraft or World of Warcraft, check this out.. lol @ 0:11

These days I’ve been living a bit more of a ‘balanced’ lifestyle rather than just spending all my time going all out on the IM game…been hitting up the gym every day, watching my diet, getting back in good shape for summer, and also been playing a good amount of the Starcraft 2 beta getting placed #1 on the ladder in 2vs2 with a friend of mine :>

Still getting work done online though and I still expect to see an income boost by the end of the month with all the backlinking I’m planning on doing…

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $0
  • Adsense = $105.05
  • UAW sale/renewal = $26.80 (tnx :>)
  • XFactor Sale = $30.80 (tnx :>)
  • Total = $162.65

    First to comment now =)

    I think your 200 sites have insane potential, maybe 200$ daily from adsense or even more!

    I keep more and more interested in this model of making money. The only thing – I don’t trust google anymore. These bastards can slam the account in a second and don’t even reply to emails.

    What about having multiple adsense accounts?

    @Anton

    Hey Anton, ya..I’d need to add more pages to them and then backlink them for me to realize more money from them.

    I’m already going through all the inner pages that have potential for first page rankings(pages that rank in the first 5 pages of Google) and doing a UAW run on them, so we’ll see how that turns out.

    And you can play that fear based game of not trusting Google/Clickbank/EBay/[Insert other aff program here]…but I choose not to live my life like that seeing as how this is now my income.

    Play by the book, diversify and if anything happens, it happens, you deal with it. No need to occupy your head with thoughts of negativity of what COULD happen.

    You can setup multiple accounts, yes, although that’s not something I personally will ever talk about on this blog.

    Mikeman,
    i really like how you diversify, for example: CB tanked yesterday, but adsense held position and other sales/renewals made up to your average daily income, very nice.

    @Mikeman
    Yes Mike, you’re right – fear is not the way to achieve success. I’ve suffered my main SEO site ban (fro nothing) and adwords account ban, both were surprises from google.

    So diversification is definitely the way to go, and not diversification within google dependent traffic. PPV, yahoo and msn ppc with cpa offers, banner ads… this is the real diversification.

    But looking at your personal blog as well as others who are making a killing with XFactor’s way, I will throw this in the mix πŸ˜‰

    BTW Mike I see you’re not doing any more Scrapebox runs, did this affect your rankings somehow? I did some Scrapebox runs with blogengine blogs and see no effect on rankings or even slightly negative.

    @Anton

    Yahoo’s ppc is actually shutting down.

    @Josh
    i hear that yaho0 will be powered by MSN search sometime this year. not sure how much truth there is to that, just a rumor so far, that me be why shutting their ppc down?

    @Josh
    Oops, haven’t heard of it Josh, thanks for sharing!

    @Kasey Langton

    Ya Kasey..it’s a lot more comfortable living off of income from diff sources for sure.

    @Anton

    Ya, that sucks, just gotta just move on and diversify…

    I mentioned in the past how it affected my rankings..I’m just focusing on other backlinking methods at this point.

    Hello,

    Well done in the 200 milestone Mike!

    * Just wanted to ask, why not use the $1 re-writes for your UAW runs, instead of Human Rewriter which costs $3+ per article?? Is there some difference..?

    Also
    Hello, can any UAW users help me with the below problem..

    when using the best spinner. I want to copy paste my article, while it still has curly brackets{} and synonyms, so I can paste it into SEnuke. I usually just re-write whole paragraphs until its 60%+ unique, then just click ` get synonyms`.

    However If I try to ctrl c/v I cant paste it in the way I want. I tried saving it also..

    thanks alot

    Matt

    @Matt McSweeney

    Try copying it into notepad first.

    Hey Mike I’ve been following you for almost a month and this is my first comment. I’ve found with a lot of my sniper sites the bounce rate is atrocious when compared to my normal content sites. Normal sites are around 50-60% bounce rate which I think is pretty average while sniper sites can be 80-90%+ bounce rate. What kind of bounce rates are your sites getting and do you do anything to improve this? I was thinking of adding some graphic banners but I’m not sure if it would help or not. I guess its worth a test.

    @Andrew

    Hey Andrew, to be honest, I don’t focus on checking the bounce rate, i don’t bother micro’ing sites, I just macro….blast out a bunch of sites, backlink them up and see what sticks. It’s a numbers game and the more experience you get picking out keywords and putting the sites up, the better you will get at picking out the winners.

    No need to over complicate it.

    @Matt McSweeney

    Hey thanks Matt :>

    I’m sure I could find some outsourcers to do re-writes at a cheaper rate, but the thing with outsourcers are they are here today, gone tomorrow. It’s not easy to find ppl who will stick with you for the long term.

    Also, I don’t mind paying the extra bit of money if I can count on the articles coming back in good quality and know that they will be accepted 100% in UAW and wind up as successful backlinks..

    If you wanted to you could opt to go the cheaper route, but I just know that my efforts will pay off in the end, so I’m not too worried about paying the higher price.

    Hey Mike + others,

    Have you guys noticed a very low ecpm of late? It started about 2 weeks ago and my ecpm has taken a beating. It’s ridiculously low at the moment and I’m not quite sure what’s going on.

    Several others from other forums have reported the same.

  15. April 8th, 2010 at 07:52 | #15

    @Mark S
    Pretty weird…I’ve noticed low CTR, and found someone else’s code/ad slot in my .php file. It’s on the heel of having a Trojan, and I don’t mean the USC type. Not sure if that helps other than to say make sure your code hasn’t been compromised.

    @Mark S

    Hah, there’s always a conspiracy theory going on :>

    Well..comparing my ECPM the last week to what it was last month, it’s about the same.

    If you’re noticing a drop, it’s likely because a site that once brought in the high ECPM clicks is not performing as well as it used to.

    Just build more sites or backlink up your sites and make more money..that’s the solution.
