Day 326 – Adsense Sniper #193

March 27th, 2010

Another ‘going deep’ with Kassem G…and a p0rn star.

These adsense snipers take a bit longer than usual, probably twice as long due to having to make so many corrections to the writing…when I accepted this work, I didn’t bother to really look it over as I had 2-3 other writers writing for me at the same time and I was too pre-occupied to check all the work.. It’s a case of the initial writing not being TOO bad but the subsequent writing somewhat deteriorating..

Well, just got 4 more of these sites to put up, then I won’t have to deal with that anymore…I think I’m going to keep putting up sites for a while before going back to backlinking again…Even though backlinking up what I got will result in more money being made, I’m in more of a site building mood these days.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $26.38
  • Adsense = $111.84
  • UAW sale = $26.80 (thnx :>)
  • BLS sale = $29.10 (tnx :>)
  • Total = $194.12

    Know what you mean. I like building the sites also more then the backlinking part.
    About the UAW part…you made a comment that resonates. Are you using the idea of John Xfactor on the writing articles part? Like the UAW articles are about for instance fitness while the backlink is to a site that has nothing to do with that niche the article is talking about? Reason i ask is because I asked UAW if it was possible to write an article and in the biobox have a link to a dutch site while the article would be in English they said no to me and also told me that the link had to be “on topic” so that bummed me out but if in practice they do not bother then that would be perfect

    @Edwin
    for something like that you may want to check into myarticlenetwork(dot)com. i believe they let you do things to that nature but you may want to double check just to make sure. they are similar to UAW i believe, but again you may want to check into it.

    Hey Mike,

    Have you ever considered trying FirePow for managing all of the blogs you now have? Just curious

    Mikeman,
    how often do you have a site that doesn’t rank well? you know, like one that is nowhere to be found in the first few pages.

    @Edwin

    It’s been my experience that at least 1 of the links has to be related to the article, the other can be unrelated…but when it comes to foreign languages, I can’t say what will happen.

    @Jared

    What do you mean by manage? If I want to check on my Wordpress blogs cpanels, I use domain dashboard..If I want to check their stats, I use analytics and more recently statcounter…if I want to add more pages to my adsense snipers, they are all found within XSite Pro.

    I had used Firepow for the creation of all of my Wordpress Clickbank sites if you look back in the history though…

    @Kasey Langton

    Well, I honestly don’t stop to look back very often..but the last time I did, I found that close to 50% of my sites wind up on the first page…there are those that are nowhere to be found, I can only guess to the percentage, maybe 1/4th, just focus on getting to the point where at least 40-50% wind up on the first page.

    Ok, im trying to analyze a few things (cuz i get obsessed sometimes) and i get about 40-50% of my snipers on page 1 as well. the clickbank converted adsense snipers in this case. i know my style and your style are completely different, so i wanted to see which one was more effecient but if you have about that percentage then its basically pretty much the same on my end. cool, just checkin. im thinkin of trying some new things

    Hey Mike, I noticed that you use Market Samurai to track your keywords, but if you have hundreds of websites, how do you track them all? Wouldn’t you have to load up each project to check each site’s rankings?

    Thanks, Edwin, for asking, and Mike for the tip. You give so many tips I forgot this one – this is good to know.

    @Kasey Langton

    Those are the kinds of results you should be seeing at a ‘base minimum’…

    The last time I checked was a long time ago. As you know I’m not so much for checking stats like this.

    Now that I’ve gotten better at keyword selection and my sites have aged and been backlinked up, it’s probably closer to 75-80%.

    As you build more sites, you’ll develop a 6th sense for this stuff and you can pretty much tell just by analyzing the first page for a bit if you’ll rank right away or if it’ll take a run of UAW to get up on first page.

    @Mikeman
    i usually know within 7 days after the site has been launched whether its going to rank well or not. because it will be on page 1,2 maybe 3. BUT heres the thing if it lands on page 1,2,3 then its worth working a lil to get it boosted up. godaddy has a 10 day return policy =) just send back the ones that dont rank. or at least they used to, i should call and double check.

    @Mikeman
    and your right about these .infos, i should have known better…they seem to be doing quite well on yaho0 though, i have a couple on page 1 but i didnt base my KW research for yaho0. probably gonna have to tear down this entire project and start from scratch…lesson learned

    @Kasey Langton

    No point penny pinching, waste of time and effort.. The one’s that don’t rank for their intended keyword still bring in money…over the course of a year the ones not ranking for the intended kw can still bring in more than their domain cost….if they don’t, it’s just $10, all part of the business, if you’re doing this right, you’ll be in profit regardless.

    Also I have sites that don’t rank in Google, but strangely down the road after backlinking end up ranking in Yahoo or Bing.

    @Mikeman
    yeah…and actually the .infos are pulling in nice long-tails and im making sales but according to my kw research, to be on page 1 would easily triple those sales for the same amount of work, so thats why im considering scratching the project and re-vamping.

    @Tony

    Ya, that’s the problem…

    I haven’t worked Market Samurai into my site building process and now I’m behind and have so many sites to enter in..

    The best thing to do if you’re using Market Samurai is not get behind and make it a part of your process when creating sites to add it to MS so that you can track it easily down the road…that’s something I would do if I could start over.

    Now I got a whole lotta sites that aren’t in there so I end up just checking those ones manually.

  20. March 28th, 2010 at 09:47 | #20

    With MS you can enter all the urls and keywords in one project. I have 3 main project because I have dutch sites, english sites and sitebuilding jv with a friend and I do not give each site/keyword a seperate project. I have about 100 – 150 domains in a project and it works perfect. giving me also a very nice overview on one page where it all stands. Adding it is just a matter of copy paste my cleaned list from my domain registrar and copy that same list in the keywords and remove the .net, .com, .nl and .org and add the spaces where needed for the right keywords.
    The only thing I do not like is MS freezes up a lot of resources when it runs but what i do is i start it up at the moment I go up for dinner or just before I leave the house to do something so it’s working while i am not behind the pc.

    @Edwin

    Ya, that’s the way to do it…I’m way behind on doing mine, it’s so much work at this point so I haven’t bothered with it.

  1. No trackbacks yet.
