Day 316 – 5 UAW Submissions

March 17th, 2010

Well, after I had sorted out the fraudulent credit card charges, I managed to get 5 UAW submissions done.Β  I also had to re-do 2 of the submissions from the other day as apparently there was some problems with it.

Today, I believe 5 of my UAW submissions have gone live…over the next week or two, hopefully there will be a sustained increase in my income as a result of all of this.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $36.58
  • UAW = $26.80 (tnx :>)
  • Hops = 128
  • Adsense = $137.01 (This is the 2nd day in a row where adsense has been over $135)
  • Total = $200.39 (another $200+ day, 2 in a row)

    Hi Mike,

    when you submit to UAW, do you add links in the article body and in the resource box. i was told that they allow two links in the article, but what about the resource box?

    Also, how many articles do you have it set for to post each day?

    @Amber
    Not to steal Mike’s thunder, but they allow a link in the article, below the fold, and 2 in the resource box, although only a total of 2 to any one domain.

    On another note, manually speaking, ArticlesBase allows 3 in the resource box, and I believe 1 in the body…This is how I was able to get about 75 backlinks between ArticlesBase and Ezine (cut and paste EZA->AB). Thanks for asking. It’s my blog now.

    (sorry for jacking the convo)

    hi Mike and James,

    I did not know that you can put more than 1 link in Ezine articles. I was just placing one link in the resource box. If I go ahead and change it do I have to resubmit everything or is it just ok.

    @James, do you edit article a little to make it unique before you post it to articlebase after ezine or you just post without making any change. Do you wait for any length of time before posting to article base after ezine posting.

    thanks in advance for your responses.

    You can put THREE links in an EZA, technically. You can have a link in the body, BELOW the fold – and this has to go to what they would view as a “non-self-serving” link, but worse case scenario you simply get one of those red-flag notes as their editors tell you there’s an issue. Fix it and move on. I’ve used the in-body link for my sites, but it really depends on who edits. They have tons of editors, so the worst case is that you have a third link (in the article body) to another site, they’ll flag you definitely if you put that third link to the same site as the one in the resource box.

    The other TWO (dude, you need at least to score the two!) can be to the same site or, like MikeMan does, to two different sites.

    I believe there is one other caveat – your article has to be a certain length (over 400 words I THINK, could be mistaken) to score the third link in the body of the text.

    As to editing an article from EZA – no, I just follow what John XFactor said to do in his book (top right of this blog, the “X-Factor Micro Niche AdSense Course”) – once the EZA is approved, cut and paste to GoArticles and ArticlesBase. This triples the exposure.

    Absolutely NO troubles doing that – I have articles on Google’s first page from all three directories, though it’s rare, with the same title and all.

    I open up three tabs in my browser and simply copy the article body, paste it 2 x to both directories, and no trouble. EZA only cares at the point of submission, after that – no matter, they’re much too big to police things afterwards, and technically they have a “free article directory” – you can’t infringe your own copyright.

    IF you change your articles in EZA to score your other links, you will need to edit/re-submit, and that can take some time, depending on your # of articles. It’s easier, however, than writing a bunch more articles. Just remember to stay beneath the fold, and not to link 3 x to the same site. Hope that helps.

    Sid :
    hi Mike and James,

    Yeah, you can get 3 out of EZA’s, one *beneath the fold* and two in the resource. The trick is that the body-link can’t be to the same site as the resource links, technically. And yes, you’ll need to make changes and re-submit, I’d recommend 2-3 at a time.

    @James, do you edit article a little to make it unique before you post it to articlebase after ezine or you just post without making any change. Do you wait for any length of time before posting to article base after ezine posting.

    No changes, no waiting – this is what John XFactor teaches in his AdSense course (link just below the RSS feed, top-right corner of this site). The only trouble with Ezine is that they don’t like you to do it in reverse – it has to be unique content. So long as you own the article, you can cross-post, no trouble. I have articles, 3 in a row, on the front page of G – though it’s rare.

    @Sid

    If you make changes to your already accepted ezine articles, they will go offline and need to be re-accepted..
