Day 314 – 4 UAW Submissions

March 15th, 2010

Now that I’ve submitted a bunch of the UAW articles to Ezine Articles, I’m beginning my UAW submissions.Β  Just got 4 done today, looking to get a bigger chunk done tomorrow…

As I mentioned before, the Ezine Articles seemed to have boosted my income back up..I don’t have any solid stats to give you, other than to say that I recall one of my sites ranking in the middle of page 1 and after the Ezine run noticed it was at #1 on page 1…I’m guessing similar jumps have been happening for some of the 40 sites I’ve backlinked via these batches of 20 Ezine Articles I’ve been submitting.

These same 40 sites are now about to get further boosting via UAW and I expect to see even more of an increase once these really get going…we’ll see what happens.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $0
  • Hops = 141
  • Adsense = $114.47

    Hey Mike,

Glad to see you are focusing on backlinking for now! Really looking forward to how it affects your income in the next 2 weeks or so. I believe you should definitely be able to get each site averaging $2 per day if you focus hardcore on the backlinks! πŸ™‚

    A quick question.
You mentioned you submit the UAW articles to Ezine: So do you first submit an article to Ezine, and then resubmit it to UAW (don’t they have an issue with duplicate content)?

or how do you do it? submit same article to both UAW and Ezine?

    Thanks for answering.

    hi Mike,

I have submitted almost 28 articles in ezine. They are all accepted and are of good quality and are in ezine for now almost two months but when I check the links in google or yahoo I do not see the link.

I do get traffic from ezine, not anything to boast about but I am surprized and beginning to think that ezine probably is no longer counted by google.

Let me know if your recently submitted articles are counted as a link back to your site or not?

Now submitted article do appear in google as a part of search results performed by users on net but that is different, it does not give you link juice.

Ya..the thing is if I focus hard on backlinks, I will fall back on managing my outsourcers, that is why I’m not doing that. But more of my time will be focused on backlinking now..

Ya, submitted Ezines won’t appear as backlinks right away, it takes time. Don’t bother yourself with looking for that, even though it doesn’t show as being a registered backlink in Yahoo backlinks, it IS registered and having an effect IMMEDIATELY after it goes live..this is reflected in the immediate change in SEO rankings once you do the submissions.

Ya, that’s what I’m experimenting with…Ezine first, then UAW, I’ve had no problems thus far.

In my experience a lot of the link juice from ezine actually comes from the other sites that pick up your work. Are you seeing those links registered by yahoo/google?

Andy, the UAW spins the content so it isn’t dupe’d (not sure if that’s what you were asking). Also: I personally do the XFactor thing – copy/paste my EZA published art’s and post them to a couple of other directories. No problem.

EZA has a problem the other way around: if you take something that’s published and then post it to their directory. Hope that helps.
