@Carrie

OK, I went through the trouble (just for you Carrie) of finding out how many IP's are on my reseller.. I went through several pages of domains on 2 of my reseller accounts and counted 6 different IP's on each, however out of that there were 3 differen't class C IP's.

AA.BB.CC.XX (Different class C IP's are where the numbers following the 2nd decimal are different).

124.23.64.123 & 124.23.64.124 = same class C IP
64.238.21.31 & 64.238.22.11 = different class C IP

I can't comment on the SEO Hosting plans as I don't use them..but comparing prices, $25/month gets 3 class C IP's with a reseller while $35/month gets 5 class C IP's with SEO Hosting(which is owned by Hostgator BTW).

@Carrie
yes it depends on your preferences. i personally like seohosting because of multiple IPs but you "add-on" domains to those IP's but its nice because you can keep your sites diverse and similar sites on different IPs. and with a reseller account, you have your own cpanel per site so there is no "adding on" but your still on the same IP...so i dont know which is better to be honest, i guess its your personal preference

I was just checking out Hostgator's options and I can't see how many IPs are included in a reseller account. I am assuming it is just one IP (your own, not shared outside your account), so I don't see the advantage other than if you were flipping domains. I must be missing something.

SeoHosting looks better as you can have separate IPs. You may still need to put multiple domains on one IP, but at least there is some variety.

@ Mikeman,
thats pretty cool actually, but your still on the same IP right, the sites just are not connected to each other via "add on"...seo hosting is a lil different. each IP gets its own cpanel and you add on domains so its better to have more IPs to keep each niche seperate. i guess they both have their advantages it seems like.

@Kasey Langton

With a Reseller account you don't have add-on domains...

You create each new domain via WHM and access it through it's own seperate CPanel. Actually, you can access all the sites through the one main domain too, you can just use a drop down list to see all the sites and by selecting one, you will enter that site's cpanel.

I don't know about SEOHosting, but if you have add-on domains, then it's not a reseller account.

@Danny

Thanks man.. For my adsense sites I'm using the black/green template you find talked about in XFactor's book..I created a variation of it in XSite Pro 2.

@DC

Yup, every site get's it's own CPanel which you can access via the master site by a drop down menu.

You go into WHM, go to create a new account, type in the domain name, username, password, select a package which allots bandwidth/diskspace restrictions, then create...

After that, login to the Cpanel, setup the email..

With Hostgator you are allowed 250,000 inodes or files per cpanel. Every file (a webpage, image, email, php file, directory, etc.) counts towards your limit. With a reseller account all your sites will have their own c-panel so you probably won't have to worry about going over the limit. http://support.hostgator.com/articles/pre-sales-questions/inode-usage-limits

With Bluehost it's 50,000 inodes (files) per cpanel, go over that number and they will threaten to suspend your account and will stop making backups of your sites.
