Is there a reason why you never use content from your site for the UAW submission?

Congratulations Mike on your end of month totals…you are an inspiration on a lot of your readers…If, I didn’t find your blog, I was already planning on abandoning this idea and just continue with my offline job Anyways, keep up the good work! and also we appreciate answering every question that we ask you..thanks for that.
On a different note, I noticed that one of my snipers got a way out of control CTR…so I’m going to install the adsense click lock, do you have any experience with this? it seems that it needs a mysql database, so that would be an extra 10-15 minutes setting this up..but I think is needed. I just want to protect my account against some “people”. Also, I noticed that lot of clicks only got 45 cents earnings so I’m thinking, google actually has something in place that discredits malicious clicks….

@ Vince – I’d sign up for a consistent $0.45 click anyday as most of mine are $0.25 or so. I target extremely low competition and paying keywords because I’m just too lazy to go after keywords where I really need to backlink

If you track all of your sites using statcounter, you can track the IP address of anyone who clicks on your links. If some idiot repeatedly clicks on your link in a malicious manner, you can package it all up and send over to google as a preventative “this ‘aint me” kind of deal. Or, you can save it for the appeal, although I’ve never heard of anyone winning a google appeal so I prefer to be proactive rather than reactive.

Thanks..I’ll give stat counter a try…I actually don’t use any type of tracking now…I dropped analytics when the first sites that I was tracking were sandboxed and it still is…Anyways, I cannot get the clicklock to work for me. Have any body tried this on an xsite pro site?

Mike, do you have a method of coming up with the best keywords for UAW submissions? Right now I just use the KW I try to rank for + general ones? Hm..

Great income Mike! Adsense isn’t like sales – conversion rates go up and down, but with Adsense it’s consistent.

You want content on your site to be unique, it’s a pretty big no-no to use your website’s content all over the place and dilute it’s power in the serps as a result.

Hey Al..for UAW submissions, I really don’t care about the keyword the submissions target, I just pick out any article from Ezine Articles that is in the same niche as 1 of the sites I’m planning on backlinking.

I’m not interested at all in the UAW submissions ranking and getting referral traffic as that is pretty much non-existent as it is. The only thing I’m interested in is getting the backlinks which results in the boost in the SERPS. So pretty much any article/keyword will do.

Hey man, I’m really impresseed by your AdSense figures. I also publish my monthly reports if you are interested but I’m only at 200$/month. This is not so bad considering it’s only a secondary income for me and I hardly spend time on making money.
