Day 3 - Building More Sites

Today I decided to get back into creating more Sniper Sites…I created 2 more Sniper Sites in a niche that I’m in which brings the total to 14 sites in this niche(and 31 sniper sites in total). It’s a niche which is getting me a lot of hops but has yet to generate a sale(I got 35 hops for it just today and 163 in total), I believe its because the keywords are not all very targeted…some of the keywords are only 2 words(I went after them because there was just so much potential traffic).
Seems like the hops are on the rise though seeing as how I got 35 for that niche today, so hopefully things will change soon.
Now when it comes to building a new Sniper Site, this is basically the process I follow:
- install the blog
- FTP my plugins, cloaked redirect htmls(from Ninja Link Cloaker) and the theme for my site
- install and setup the plugins
- setup the widgets
- edit the theme a bit, change the footer
- add a contact us/about us/privacy policy page
- post a welcome post
- post a tip post or video
- bookmark the site with Bookmarking Demon
- Digg the site
- Add the site to Friendfeed.com
- Register a Feedburner feed and associate it to the site
- Submit the RSS feed via RSS Submit, SENuke and RSS Traffic Bot
Then, once the site is inexed and showing up in Google, I go back and post a review as a static page (via settings - reading in Wordpress).
After I created the 2 sites today, I spent some time looking for some good keywords in other niches…I want to find some more killer ones that have crazy amounts of searches (like 10-20k phrase match) but that are more buying keywords.
Earnings For Today:
- Adsense = $1.24
- No Affiliate sales, however I got 108 hops today

Wow, 14 sites in one niche. In Court’s latest post at thekeywordacademy.com he says one of his mottos is “go big or go to bed”, it looks like you have the same motto.
That picture cracks me up!
Thanks for the step by step.
Donna ya, it just so happened there were a lot of great keywords in the niche :> I like to find all the good keywords and make sites out of them before moving onto another niche…
I just had a look at that site again, it looks like he’s doing an experiment, 100 hubs in 30 days, sounds interesting..
Shelly, haha, np
I’ve got 4 in one, and 3 in another….wasn’t sure whether to expand on a few more, but I think I’m reaching my limit of sites at this point. I’m going to spend more time on promotion from June through December.
I may see if I can find a few more in one of the topics. The majority of my sites are authority, but I like having a few small ones tossed in there for good measure, and they’re snappy, quick and easy to do.
That is a funny picture! I just saw that movie
Hope today goes well!
Hey Mike just found your site from TNB. I enjoyed reading your blog; very interesting read.
I am glad that your income keeps growing. I will be coming back here on a daily basis.
Hey Deb…ya, if you feel like you’ve got enough sites on your plate one thing you could consider doing instead is making free Web 2.0 properties targeting various keywords.
That’s one thing I’m considering trying out myself sometime(after seeing that thread from the Keyword Academy on Hubpages, thanks Donna).
Sara, hahah…Mc’Lovin.
Hey Susan(burkleez right?) glad you dropped by..
LOL, Mike I have over 200 Squidoo Lenses (last count, I think 212) and a handful of hubpages…I’ve been building them for 2 years now too
@Deb
Whoa! That must be crazy to keep track of. I can’t imagine having that many. I think I am only at like 10. lol
Well, just like articles, either build backlinks to them or keep building more :>
I don’t even know how many mini sites I have now after running Brute Force SEO and SENuke…you loose track of them. I couldn’t even find some of the ones I created or remember the passwords for them.
Aha! Look what I found! http://beatingadwordsreview.com/
Check the “about” section to see who the owner is! Now I really can understand his system by this example.
@Sara
That looks like one of his older sites, he doesn’t make them that way anymore… I’d say there’s one too many aff links in there.
@Mikeman
Yea I thought the links seemed a bit spammy.
