Day 297 – Adsense Sniper #180

February 26th, 2010

First of all, I made a mistake yesterday…I just noticed I got a BLS sale (thank you :>)  for $29.10..that means yesterday was my 6th day over $200 at $217.61.  I remember the last time I was counting days over $100 with Clickbank and noticing that they were happening 2 times every 15 days…now here I am noticing $200+ days occur about once or twice a week, crazy!

I’ve been busy moving all my furniture into my new condo..also got to deal with the moving guys scuffing up the walls and shit, so I gotta wake up early and get that sorted out..so going to cut the update short right here.. but ya, today I was able to put up another site.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $19.86
  • Hops = 103
  • Adsense = $105.36
  • Total = $125.22

    Hey I have a question do you have your adsense sites all on one account? If so do you have your account set up to allow adsense on any site or do you have all your domains listed as far as “allowed sites” setup? (hope you understand this..)

    As far as channels do have you been able to list all your URL’s in the channels info?

    Thanks again for sharing.

    Mikeman,
    some of my sites have been getting 100% ctr, and some others at 50% is this something to worry about? I would think it loox suspicious and may not get paid …but as an average of ALL sites like i said before it falls between 3-5%

    Kasey,

    As long as you’re 100% white-hat Google wouldn’t give you any troubles. Try to not use gibberish content though.

    all the clicks are legitimate and what exactly is gibberish content

    I’ve actually seen CTRs above 100% a time or two, which should be impossible. I assume there is a bug in the tracking that may not always sync up impressions and click in real time, but who knows.

    Hi Mike, I just recently found your site, you’re definitely a focused, hard worker.

    Couple questions. Do you use the same minimum search volume(2400) for your inner pages as well? Or do you just look at that for your main keyword?

    Also, do you only go after Exact match domain names? Do you ever add a prefix or suffix, or do you just skip that niche and move on?

    Thanks,

    Tom

    @ Carrie
    thx, the entire reason i didnt want to monetize with adsense in the first place because ive heard horror stories about not getting paid but then again im not doing any click fraud or anything like that. hoping everything goes smoothly.

    on another note, im about to get super aggressive and start the amzon snipers soon. i dont see anyone doing it, but the goal is to launch 300 amzon snipers in 30 days, ouch. thats 10 sites a day. ill start registering the domains here shortly and let you guys know what happens. may be an unseen sniper income source that needs to be uncovered.

    @Carrie Occasionally, visitors will click on links only to find that it’s not what they were looking for and hit the Back button. They will either hit the Back button again, or click on another link. Which will result in 1 unique impression but two clicks.

    Possible and yes happens to me all the time.

    @Kasey Langton Gibberish content = extremely cheap articles (probably spun) that makes little to no sense. Google manual review = booted from AdSense.

    Hi
    Good work for over $200.

    OK, I got rss Bot and I’m don’t quite get it. Am I supposed to be putting xml code into the html of my site? OR am I submitting something to these 30 aggregators?
    If I am submitting to the aggregators, what am I submitting?
    Do I create the xml code and submit it, or do I just submit the URL of my sites?
    Slow learner, I guess.

    @b&c
    do you have an example?

  13. February 26th, 2010 at 11:50 | #13

    Mike.
    I asked you about my article submissions a while back and you said not to submit articles that had the same type of content as my site since I would be competing with myself for the same keyword. That must have been at least 6 weeks ago.
    Well, I didn’t have the guts to take down my article ‘cuz it was #1 on Pg 1 of google. Hey, that’s at least some success, right?
    So today I looked… yea, I know we’re supposed to just keep building and not look… but, I looked and my article was #2 but my site is #1.

    Whooray! Wonders will never cease. Just gotta keep going and it WILL happen.
    Thanks for all your encouragement.

    @Bill as long as your article links to your page your website will outrank it. Especially since you built BL’s to your site, not the article, congrats on the success! :)

  15. b&c
    February 26th, 2010 at 12:33 | #15

    @Bill Bill, RSS bot is for submitting your RSS feed, example for mikeiser.com the RSS is at mikeiser.com/rss

    .xml is for Sitemap submission, which you can do from your Google webmaster account.

  16. Heimir
    February 26th, 2010 at 12:42 | #16

    @b&c

    The website will not outrank the article simply because it has a link from it, The BL’s will do that.

  17. b&c
    February 26th, 2010 at 13:06 | #17

    @Heimir that’s why I mentioned both points.

  18. b&c
    February 26th, 2010 at 13:07 | #18

    and the link from the article IS a BL.

  19. Heimir
    February 26th, 2010 at 14:08 | #19

    @b&c
    Well what I meant was the fact that the article links back to the site has no effect on the site being higher in the SERPs.

    The Site is there because of better onpage and offpage SEO.

  20. February 26th, 2010 at 15:47 | #20

    Mike, wanted to ask you as a pro – how many sites did it take you to biuld/promote to reach 16-20$ in adsense per day? Do you remember? I’m considering making 500$ from adsense a month and trying to calculate approx spend on domains. Thanks!

  21. Mace
    February 26th, 2010 at 15:51 | #21

    @Kasey – there are several people cranking out Amazon snipers, most with good success. I know one person who has even taken adsense off all of those sites and is making more money than before. Good luck with that!

    Mike,

    I clicked on your BLS ad Feb. 19 and again today
    - message comes “closed” & opti-in form for
    waiting list. You mentioned you had a BLS sale
    though yesterday. Is something wrong with the
    BLS link on your site?

  23. Vince
    February 26th, 2010 at 16:38 | #23

    Mike, the BLS sale is from me. I don’t know how there cookies work but I signed up through their email but I opted in to be on the waiting list on your site.
    Renata – you need to sign up for their waiting list and they will let you know whnever they are open. There are only limited slots and usually slots are taken within a day or 2.

  24. February 26th, 2010 at 16:38 | #24

    @ Kasey, could I contact you via email. I have a question that is probably not appropriate for the forum and off topic

  25. Renata
    February 26th, 2010 at 17:06 | #25

    Vince – Thanks – I did sign-up on the waiting list Feb. 19, guess I’ll just keep waiting…..

    Are you using Daniel Brocks WSO for Amazon Sites as your guide?

  29. February 26th, 2010 at 17:20 | #29

    Hi,

    I have been reading your blog for about 2 months now. You can say I am a silent admirer. lol

    I have built 56 adsense sites using the methods outlined by you and 43 sites rank for there keywords which brings in roughly 15-30 on a per day basis.

    My question is – Do you also see such extreme fluctuations in the number of clicks and ECPM that adsense pays.

    My ECPM tends to be somewhere between $30-60 because of which my revenue earned per day keeps on changing.

    Thanks
    Al

    @Renata – In some of the niches I’ve recently discovered, there are several blogspot blogs on the first page. Personally, I was glad to see that as I believe a top level domain (.com/.org/.net) targeting the same keyword will do much better. However, the keywords rock so I assume that they are making money since they are on the first page. Of course, I’m trying to knock them off that page but, to answer your question: no, there is no reason not to start with Blogger. However, as soon as you get your first payout (I think it is still $100, right), I’d use that to get some hosting and a few top level domains and go from there.

  31. February 26th, 2010 at 18:17 | #31

    @ Dee…going all inappropriate. hmm.. actually Kasey left his email to be spammed – a day or two ago, on this forum.

    @ Uncle Freaking MikeSense: Thanks for the encouragement and focused drive, man. Much appreciated. Off to Elance.

    @Renata
    Re: Blogger blogs and AdSense -

    Red flag on the play, or a yellow one: I think you may not get 100% from Blogger on your earnings, but I could be wrong here – read their Terms of Service closely, I know G00gle owns them, but I also know that on other platforms such as Squidoo – you don’t get your full cut.

    Mike you really are a legend thank you so much for the info on this site. I am currently in a position of wanting to pump out 100-200 of these Adsense sites as quickly as possible using outsourcing.

    I quite fortunately in the position of being cash rich (due to several successful IM endeavours) but time poor.

    I would love to get 100 sites up as a test run and perhaps proceed further if things are going well… I am guessing I MUST do the keyword research myself, but when it comes to the articles, creating the sites and backlinking I would be able to take advantage of effective outsourcing strategies…

    My question is, do you think it would be wise for me to hire a reliable full-time SEO-trained individual who is quite web savvy who could carry out all the SEO (article spinning, submission, uploading sites, writing articles etc) to get things moving as quickly as possible?

    In your opinion, are there any aspects of the process that you WOULDN’T outsource based on your experience?

    As I said I have no issues with dropping a few thousand on outsourcing if I can get things moving quickly but I’d love your thoughts on this plan.

    February 26th, 2010 at 19:05 | #37

    Every time I get an automated comment on my blog I visit the site, if it has Adsense I report it to Google. Google has a good system in place for reporting spam violations. I scrape (excuse the pun) all the details, ip log, email address, url, comments etc and pass it on to Google. The rest is up to them. If nothing happens and the spammer keeps on auto commenting I go back and run a litle click bomb program LOL

    Some of you are sneeky though. You don’t put a link with the first few comments and I let them through and eventually I get ya when you post that backlink to your Xfactor site!

    You want to spam someone’s blog be prepared for blog owners to fight back. Is your Adsense account worth the risk?

  38. February 26th, 2010 at 20:23 | #38

    @Scrapebox hater
    Wow. Didn’t realize your time was worth all of that – isn’t there some easier, less time-consuming way to go about that? Sounds like a bit too much work – I’d rather dig for gold in my nostrils while I watch paint dry, myself – but I don’t have the problem you describe.

    Just don’t understand the hate, I guess. I’d suggest you find a happier hobby, but seriously just my 2 cents. Free country.

  39. February 26th, 2010 at 20:25 | #39

    @Scrapebox hater

    On a serious note – not trying to pick a fight, honestly – what flags the comment that it’s such a bad thing?

    Really just curious.

  40. February 26th, 2010 at 21:00 | #40

    @Scrapebox hater

    So, let me get this straight…

    1) You love Google’s rules, etc.
    2) You run clickbomb programs…

    So in other words, as long as YOU bend the rules, all’s fair?

    @James the Just on Elance I think he meant people that spam other people blogs with links should wary about the AdSense account being cancelled. Spam is spam however you sugarcoat it.

  45. February 27th, 2010 at 01:48 | #45

    @b&c
    I got that the first read-thru. My problem with creating a username of “I hate what you’re using on your own blog” and then proceeding to threaten ppl reading said forum is a lame waste of time. It’s rude and a time and buzz kill.

    What’s the point of this:

    1) I read your blog.
    2) I hate you and what you do.
    3) I am going to tell you about it and threaten your readers with what I’ll do, which contradicts my high morals with my blog…I don’t mind compromising my morals as I exact revenge on you, hypocrisy isn’t as bad as spam…

    Yeah. Still don’t see the point.

    Yes, all my sites have been built in the last 2 months, the only difference being that they are wordpress based (using clickbump’s themes and currently all internal pages of these websites are going through a UAW run)

  47. Al
    February 27th, 2010 at 08:53 | #47

    @James the Just on Elance
    James, you don’t use Scrapebox on your own blogs, what you do with the software is pretty much spamming. The software looks for blogs, leave a comment with a BL back to one of your AdSense sniper site. It’s a spamming tool, there isn’t even an argument. Read up on what Scrapebox actually is and you will agree.

  48. Heimir
    February 27th, 2010 at 09:27 | #48

    @b&c
    You’re misunderstanding me mate. Let’s just drop this ;)

  49. February 27th, 2010 at 12:15 | #49

    @ Al

    I am not trying to make the case that ScrapeBox isn’t a spam creating tool – wasn’t born yesterday, and no offense meant to you. It just sticks in my craw to do what “IhateScrapebox” did – what was the point of that?

    But I agree with the premise that Scrapebox is used for spam, so is BMD – depending on how you view it. For BMD, if you provide genuine content, then it’s not spam, just an automated way to do it. For Scrapebox, I imagine you could make the same case, but I agree it can be called spam.

    [Which, by the way, dishonors the best fake meat product the world has ever known. Have you tried it with fried rice?]

    My argument is simply this: the rudeness of going onto a blog and blasting the author as well as his readers. I believe the term is trolling, or something akin to that. That was my only point, and the more I thought of it, the more red under the collar I got.

    I should probably stick with questions for MikeMan and leave it at that, even IHateScrapeBox-and-Successful-IMers-because-I-have-nothing-better-to-do guy has the right to waste his or her time as he or she sees fit.

    Like I have just done.

    (BTW, all my comments are created using Scrapebox.)

    I agree with

  50. February 27th, 2010 at 12:28 | #50

    Just don’t understand the hate either I guess. I’d suggest you find a happier hobby SB hater.

    I once knew a guy that was such a hater that he wanted to kill the Florida Football coach. Used to shake and get into a frenzy when he even talked about it. He lost his house, wife and all ‘cuz that was his #1 thing in life. He had to have something to Hate. Some of us are like that.
