Day 294 – KW Research + New Impressions High + 200 p.V

February 23rd, 2010

Took the vid out as it was causing problems in IE..This was the vid though : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4GYg-5AdRw

Today I found inner page keywords for 3 more of the domains which makes for 7 fleshed out domains for one of my outsourcers to tackle this week….

I also had to find new keywords for another one of my writers…I didn’t want to have any of my writers build content for existing sites, so I had to spend several hours(4-5) doing keyword research.  I uncovered 6 keywords and found 4 inner page keywords for 2 of them for her to start working on…tomorrow I’ll flesh out the rest and find 1 additional kw as well.

Once all of this week’s work is done, I’ll have 21 more sites in the queue…add to that about 10 more sites that I have yet to put up and that’s 30 additional sites..I’m going to have a lot of sites to put up real soon.

Also today I raked in $133.74 in adsense and also reached a new high in my impressions.. I can’t reveal the numbers, but I can say that it is about 250 higher than my previous high.  This also has coincided with the day in which all those Ezines I submitted went live.

We’ll see if things continue or if this is just an Ezine impression/income spike, although the income I earned today was not for the sites I did Ezine submissions for, only 1 of those sites was in my top 25 earners for the day…

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $80.46 – 1 sniper site sale, 1 sale for authority site #1 & authority site #3
  • Hops = 182
  • Adsense = $133.74
  • XFactor Sale = $30.80 (thanks :>)
  • Total = $245.00 – A new high in daily earnings!

    Hey Mike
    Great website, very inspring project 🙂

    You call the site “Journey to a full time income”, did you set a goal about the amount to reach or do you want to work so hard until the end of your days?

    If you make now 200 a day, that would be 6000 a month minus costs, thats not bad, I guess.

    Hey Mike,

    Can you contact me at the email I use to comment on your blog? I have a question about UAW that isn’t appropriate for the comments here. Shouldn’t take too much of your time, and if/when I sign up I’ll definately use your aff. link 😉

    @Tom

    Hey Tom, ya, it says Journey to a Full Time Income, isn’t that funny? I set a goal to reach 50k/year when I started which is a little over 4k/month…I believe I will break that barrier as of the month of February :>

    You can see how my income progressed via the readme at the top of the page, there is a link there somewhere.

    I’m going to continue to up my income though…my next goal will be to get to $200/day in adsense which will bring my income to 7k/month in total…then $300 in adsense which will get me to 10k/month…it’s not going to end as long as I’m alive..

    Hey Thomas, ya, sorry I didn’t get back to you, I’ll send you a msg..

    Hi
    Well, I’m not setting any income records, but I haven’t been at it that long. Just trying to do all the right things. One of my sites on Pg 2 #5 just jumped to Pg 1 #1, so I must have learned something here.
    I got SB and haven’t been able to get it to post much at all. I finally got a few posts, so I know it works, but 5 out of 115 attempts wasn’t exactly what I expected. Fifty per cent was more in line with what I was hoping.
    I used Blogengine for both scraping and Posting. Maybe I’ll try WordPress even though you say it doesn’t raise your rankings, only gives ‘no follow’ backlinks. I’m a bit perplexed. Maybe I should another keyword?
    Any thoughts?
    I seem to be doing OK with BMD. It’s a little confusing, but I did a few good runs.
    Thanks Mike for all your help.
    Regards

    Bill

    Forgot to mention… I got all excited the other day when I found this keyword on Google keywords which had 65,000 searches a month and only 150,000 advertising on it. Then I ran it on Traffic Travis and it didn’t register at all.
    I was quite surprised at the big difference. Too early to tell which one is correct, but I’ll keep you posted. Maybe it is somewhere in between Zero and 65,000.

    Seriously, MikeMan – Good stuff here, push the envelope until you’re dead. Why wouldn’t you?

    I’m there with you. Only waaaaay back behind you on the eastern horizon, assuming you’re running westerly…

    …and that was super off-track.

    ok Mikeman,
    I converted one of my CB snipers into an adsense sniper, lets see how it rolls…actually im gonna convert quite a few of them here in the next few hours and see what happens over the next few weeks.

    Have a keyword that is a registered trademark. Has that tended to be a problem, or do the companies generally like the advertising.
    Thanks

    @ Bill
    Im pretty sure Mikeman will say to stay clear of them, but im my personal experiences, it really just comes down to the company. Some like it and some don’t. More of the well-known trademarks like FICO and everyday food marked by martha stwart will ask for their domains back. So if you decide to get marked domains then I would stick well lesser known companies but still get loads of searches. just my opinion but who listens anyways? lol

    This is why I recommend to ALSO use msn kw tool as you can paste the keyword in it and it will tell ya. If its over 200 then your good to go…if it comes out to like 22 or something just move on as go0gle kw tool is more than likely way off on that particular keyword and this happens quite often.

    Bill, what matching option gives you that search count (Broad/phrase/exact)? I also have different competition analysis in different data centers. Do you have the same experience. How do you get your hands dirty in finding a niche. Here are some I use but I get lost in the middle!

    1. Amazon best sellers
    2. Magazines.com
    3. Shopping.Com Top searches

    @Bill

    You are doing something SERIOUSLY wrong if you are using private proxies and getting 5/115 being successful…it simply doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t sound like you are using private proxies at all.

    Make sure you test them first in SB to see if they are all accessible..go to “manage proxies – test proxies”..they should all wind up green.

    You should also have checked “use proxies”..and if you bought them from yourprivateproxy(dot)com, you’ll get the 50%+ success rate…if not, send them a msg or go and post on the official BHW thread asking for help. It’s hard for me to debug what’s going on without more info.

    @Bill

    Ya, I’m passed the point of getting excited over single keywords as never have I found a keyword, got excited about it, and seen it wind up generating me $10+/day or something.

    It’s a numbers game, the more you throw out there, the greater the chance you’ll find a keyword that performs well…you also never know which kw it will wind up being, it’s often not the ones you would think.

    @Kasey Langton

    Ya, I’ve been through those paces before as has a friend of mine…you won’t see anything amazing out of converted sites though, unless you just happened to target a CB kw that is also a high CPC and targeted adsense kw.

    @Bill

    Ya, I used to not care and just indiscriminately go after everything, until I got a letter, then I decided it’s not worth encountering that headache or wondering when you’ll get the next letter..especially if you’re putting up 100’s of sites.

    @Kasey Langton

    Yes, it does come down to the company, small companies are not likely to come after you…

    It’s all a matter of what you’re comfortable with…Had you talked to me before the incident, I’d have told you something completely different.

    I’m putting out 100’s of sites and would rather feel more secure in knowing I don’t have to put up with legal BS every now and then…also, there are plenty of non brand name kw’s available.

  14. February 24th, 2010 at 13:57 | #14

    Kasey
    Thanks for the feedback. I figure I’ll go ahead and try. Many Companies have so many distributors that they probably don’t care. Kinda like Coca Cola… Just get our name out there and we get more exposure.

    I also have two of these KW’s out there and they are both #1 on Pg 1.
    Maybe the Co’s will like that.

    @Bill

    If you’re not an authorized reseller, the big companies will get on your case.. You can try eeking by with the smaller company kw’s, but as soon as you encounter one of those cease and desist letters and realize the hoops they get you to jump through, and with the potential issues you can get in with your hosting company, you’ll probably change your tune…especially since when you get good at kw research, you realize there are a lot of non-brand name kw’s out there.

    Mikeman,
    I think the CB snipers are converting to adsense pretty well, because my keywords for CB snipers are not specific to CB. They are general keywords that I was able to match a CB product to it. keywords for example ‘hypnosis mind control’ then i would sell the 20 day persuasion CB product on that site when it was a CB sniper(this is just for example). Ive already made a lil $ on adsense already in just half a day and only converted a few so far. I think this may be a good move.

    oh and on another note, my rankings have boosted since adding adsense, the sites i converted are almost ALL on page 1 and some that disappeard awhile back are now back in the top SERPS…the big G biased? I would say so!
