Day 293 – 5 Ezine Submissions + 7-10 New KW's

February 22nd, 2010

Just did 5 more Ezine Submissions using my outsourced UAW articles and also spent some time doing keyword research so that I’d have something to give to one of my outsourcers for the week(I currently have 3 outsourcers working on new site content, 35 articles/week each.. my 4th has gone AWOL).ย  I registered 7 domains, but found probably a few more, which is why I put 7-10 as I have yet to register a few other domains..

I also found 4 inner pages for 4 of the 7 domains for my writer to work on and I’ll be sending her the other inner page keywords tomorrow.

I’ve got a backlog of sites to create…I think I have about 10 sites already written by my outsourcers that I have yet to put up …I’ll still need to correct the spelling and grammar though for at least 7 of those as 1 of my writers doesn’t write in perfect English.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $0
  • Hops = 210
  • Adsense = $104.94

    Mike

    Hey it seems as though you are really rolling along. I have finally hired my first writer and they will begin working this week; so am anxious to see how this goes.

    Thanks for sharing your knowledge about outsourcing.

    How are those Scrapebox submissions coming along? I saw your results the other day, but was wondering how often you run the program? Also are you going to run the program for wordpress and blogengine blogs or just blogengine from now on? Sorry for all the questions, Mike.

    How many sites has it taken you to get to the $100/day level? And is it consistent, or does it flux heavily? Cool website by the way, just found it today (it was referenced in a thread on the Warrior Forum).

    @Susan

    Nice Susan!

    @David

    Hey Dave, I blog about every run I do, I haven’t done any additional runs since the last posting..

    The only thing that matters is movement in SERPS, and I’ve only come to see that through blogengine submissions.. So if I do more in the future, they would be for blogengine blogs.

    @Marakatapolis

    Hey man, welcome.. I don’t like to talk in those terms…that it took X number of sites to make X dollars because it’s never that cut and dry.

    I had about 145 sites when I hit the $100/day mark, however a lot of those sites were new and had yet to be backlinked and have yet to age and really reach their potential.

    Conservatively though, you can expect *at least* $100/day from 200 websites…more as they mature and you backlink them up.

    @Kasey Langton

    Sorry to bust on your fantasy my man…there’s enough testosterone flowing through my veins for 2, Those who know me know when I’m not doing IM, I live in the gym. I’d post the pics to show that’s the case.. the ladies would appreciate it, but I’m wary of what would happen to them once they’re on your hard drive..

    @ MikeMan –

    Sorry, Mike. That was out of hand. I think Kasey owes you an aff commish, and me a copy of XSite Pro2 to make up for it. That was plainly out of hand, and only such a measure could possibly let him out from underneath your scathing scrutiny.

    It would also help me in my therapy sessions after such a comment.

    Kasey: pony up. Fair’s fair.

    In any case, on a different note. Im seriously thinking about scooping up a few hundred .infos to kick off amzon snipers. Ive heard horror stories about .infos not ranking well because they are known to the big G as being “spammy” domains. I actually bought a few .infos awhile back and some made it to page 2 but most didnt rank at all but they still got crap loads of traffic and they were not built on wordpress. So thats why Im considering it.

    Now I know how to get pretty decent traffic and now targeting amzon, the keywords im targeting get well over 20k searches a month and ive seen my .infos rank #1 on msn for some reason. Dont know how or why but msn takes to .infos pretty well. Any input? Mikeman?

  10. February 23rd, 2010 at 01:02 | #10

    No worries – just give me that XSite and MikeMan will answer. Otherwise, you have broken man code.

    ….

    On a more serious level – you’re targeting kw’s that get over 20k searches a month? Do you mean, per phrase, or simply altogether as a site whole?

    That seems pretty hefty. I’m wondering now if this is all from the kw research idea you posted about a week ago-? Checking MSN then G?

    do you actually get ONE kw that high, or what?

    @ James the Just
    yeah I start with msn kw tool and I just type in a product name. If i see anything that gets over 200 then I take that product name and drop into go0gle kw tool and most are coming in over 20k searches a month (on exact match!). not all. but most. and if I buy .infos I can literally get hundreds easy. I have already uncovered almost 200 product targeted keywords that have the exact domain available. infringement? probably on some but then again .infos are only $.99. so If i have to give some up here and there because of trademarks then I wont be out much, ya know? If I launch 10 sites a day (which I can do if Im bustin @ss) then I can get up 300 of these things in a month. Will only cost me 30 days of time and $300 for exact product name .info domains. And they ALL get high amount of searches per month in go0gle and msn. So if some don’t rank well in go0gle but they do well in msn then im already covered with the kw research and vice versa.

    I think this is my only option if I dont plan on selling my CB snipers because of $ issues. Although im starting to make $ on CB snipers its still not enough to cover bills and re-investment yet. But they are getting stronger and stronger everyday More and More hops, sales are still spotty but i think thats norm with CB

    oly moly @ xsite being $197. was actually thinking about getting a copy but damn thats a lot.

  14. February 23rd, 2010 at 02:23 | #14

    what are you using to manage your sites? I’m seriously getting that bad boy. Let me thank you in advance. Very kind of you.

    @ James the Just
    Manage? like keeping track or….? I use just a simple excel worksheet to keep track of my sites for example: IP Address the domain is on, the domain name, keyword targeted, product promoting, How many searches the keyword gets in msn and go0gle, date launched and I launch my sites in steps, so step 1,2,3 are also on there to tell me where the site is in its progress and i mark it “yes” when its completed. way over analytical as Mikeman would say but its the only I know how to do things. Doesnt prevent me from launching 4 sites in a day though. But actually its a pretty simple tracking system. So if I wanted to check the rankings of all my sites all I gotta do is copy from the excel worksheet from the keyword targeted cell and paste in search engine only takes a few minutes to check all sites

    I got a golden domain for you that is already ranking that is perfect for adsense. I let the domain go about 2 months ago because it wasnt doing sh*t for CB but i think will work out nicely for adsense its number #2 in msn right now and gets loads of traffic. And if content is added back to it…it will be on first page of go0gle like it was before.

    haha!

    @Kasey Langton

    As far as what I think about .infos…waste of time. You can’t expect to see income coming in by just putting up .infos, they will take substantial backlinking in order to get them ranking anywhere half decent.

    You’re only upping your workload by making it harder for you to rank for the keywords you’re targeting.

    When you put up .net/org/com, if you’ve done your kw research right, you’ll have close to 1/2 of your sites winding up on page 1, even more after you get better at it and do more backlinking.

    If you’re looking for a sure-fire plan that will rake in money, go with net/org/com exact match to kw…never make decisions on buying web properties for the sake of saving money.

    Mike, when I started I was making a lot of blogger blogs to save money. Your definitely right, it takes substantial backlinking work to get them ranking(not to mention time). Google only really likes the .net/org/coms. To be fair though, google is easier on .infos and subdomains than any other search engine I know of.

    I’m still on extremely limited budget($200 in the bank) so I am curious about your opinion on this. Would it make any serious difference between self hosted blogs and blogger blogs(or devhubs) with an attached domain?

    Thanks.

    @Josh

    Not sure exactly about what blogger blogs with an attached domain is all about so I can’t really give you an answer there I’m afraid…

    If I were in your shoes, I’d work to save up money each month for domains and slowly grow your virtual real estate….That $200 translates into at least 20 websites…if you could build that each month, that would be a good start…

    I definitely wouldn’t compromise and stick up .info’s…You could look into getting 3rd party sites ranking on page 1 (Squidoo/Hubs/Blogger Blogs etc..) for the time being, although I couldn’t really advise you on that as that is not the path that I took.
