Day 274 – Adsense Sniper #153 & #154 + Scrapebox + A Milestone!

February 3rd, 2010

Got another 2 adsense snipers out…I also put up 5 more posts I had written as additional pages for one of my existing sites.Β  Also, I spent some time doing keyword research for additional pages for one of my sites that brings in quite a bit of money, found 35 keywords there which I will have outsourced at some point.

Aside from that, here is another look at my Scrapebox results since I did my first runs on the first 5 test sites:

Site #1 = 12 backlinks – 14 – 22 – 45 -105 – 136 – 363
Site #2 = 29 backlinks – 35 – 37 – 47 – 82 – 94 – 267
Site #3 = 17 backlinks – 18 – 20 – 20 – 43 – 52 – 137
Site #4 = 0 backlinks – 14 – 18 – 18 – 26 – 40 – 117
Site #5 = 1 backlink – 1 – 5 – 5 – 37 – 53 – 196

WOW…just insane…I think the reason for the explosion here is that some of the comments wound up on the front page of the website on the sidebar, and thus even if they are only on 1 site, they are appearing as backlinks many times for each of that site’s pages, inflating the backlink # up dramatically.

Now I didn’t see any noticable changes in rankings, except with the first site which jumped up to 363 links..it has dissappeared from Google πŸ™Β  We’ll see if it returns in a weeks time which is usually how long it takes for Google to do it’s dance.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $37.42 – 1 sale for authority site#1 , 1 sale for authority site #3
  • Hops = 163
  • Adsense = $114.74
  • XSite Pro 2 = $49.25 (thanks man, you helped me reach the milestone :>)
  • Total = $201.41 This was the milestone, a day over $200, my highest earnings yet!Β  (Graham your prediction was right)

from my personal experience whenever I get a spike in backlinks like that and a site disappears it usually comes back stronger than ever in a few days. So im interesting in seeing where this site lands when it comes back in the SERPS.

NICE. $200+…sweet, man. I think I spent that much in gas station food the other day…darn fried chicken…

I just had a site do the Google cha cha myself, about 300 Yahoo links from one UAW run, and it disappeared. From page two to page 10002, someplace behind Pluto.

Came back on page 1! Yeah!

Scrapped BMW, getting BMD today. From you. Lots of props, Mike.

@ Mike – Glad to help you reach your milestone πŸ™‚ Finally got motivated enough (in large part to reading your blog everyday) that I’m gonna give this whole IM thing a real good ‘ole fashion college try. Since the software took hours to download (I hate dsl!), I guess I’ll consider today “Day 1” for myself using the X-factor method and see if I can get the results alluded to in the course. Thanks for the daily posts!

    @Kasey Langton

That’s been my experience as well…but then again, I’ve never gone from 12 backlinks to now, if you can believe it, 588 backlinks in under a week!

    @James the Just

Np James.. What kind of UAW run did you do to get 300 registered Yahoo backlinks? That would be a first..

Oh, thanks Mace, glad the blog was of help! If you follow what I did on my site, you can get a pretty good idea of what you need to do to start earning substantial money with this method.

Wooo Hooo Bro… And there you go… Fantastic news.

Say I was browsing at BHW and saw these guys

    http://bit.ly/1CDSc0 thought it might help.

I’ve got nothing to do with them, but I know you had a tough time with your writers, and these seem to be very good.

say, how come you don’t use Human Rewriter for your original content too? Or you do?

Thanks Lance, and thanks for sharing the link… I had a look at the writing but found the quality to be somewhat lacking(for me). I’m able to get native English speakers(and some writers from the Philippines who write decent) at $2/article(450 words) which is why I stick to finding the resources on my own..you also have more control over the quality that way than if you used a service with many writers.

You may have to spend time filtering them out and some of them may not stick around as long as you’d like, however once you get good at picking out the right writers, it’s not a problem to find replacement writers when needed as I have recently just done.

This service could have some sort of use though, have you used these writers Lance?

I never used Human Rewriter for original content because they never offered those services..although now I believe they do…however I’m getting things done well and cheaply by hiring my own resources…

I still don’t mind using Human Rewriter for UAW articles as you can queue up a ton of re-writes and count on receiving them in a few days…

    Mike –

Re: UAW run – Well, I’m not sure if it was the Ezine Articles I wrote and cross posted to ArticlesBase and GoArt’s (without changing content, like John says in his course), because I did some of my best writing for general topics that I’m ‘expert’ in, but between those 10-15 articles per each directory and the UAW run (just one run), I looked up the SEO toolbar and had over 300 Y! Links and other Yahoo links (not sure of the diff?).

I was surprised, too, since I did that on my oldest site (TWO UAW runs and about 15 articles for those 3 directories, each), and only wound up with 50-70 backlinks.

1st position in Bing! 1-2 on Google SERP, as well as Yahoo.

Not sure I did anything weird, it may be the niche? One is a pretty competitive, popular niche – 1st page in Google, this is the one with the 300+ Y! Links, etc., only about 3-5 social bookmarking links (my manual ones!)…

Dunno…lucked out. I’m actually just a bum follower, the ONLY thing I did different than what John X Factor said was to use the one UAW run on each.

According to my WP dashboards (I’m just barely out of the gate here with THREE sites, don’t have the XSite Pro2 yet), the UAW runs net me 60-75 pingbacks/posted articles on each site.

Sorry for the lame @$$ grammar, “…I’m not sure if it was the Ezine Articles I wrote…” should have read, “had written.” Pluperfect…or something to that effect…gets me every time.

  11. February 4th, 2010 at 01:21 | #11

just downloaded the bmd. finishing my huge elance job for a guy making some major cash as an aff marketer, prob as many sites as you for the # of niches I’m spinning articles for (UAW runs no doubt). Bloody geniuses.

now, don’t go buying gold bars and telling me how they give you link juice. i’ll go broke…

Haven’t used them yet, though I think I’ll go for it, to do a test ride. Like, maybe get 10 pieces or so, and then get a rewrite.

I’m not adsensing at the moment, I decided to take a break and finnish one of my authorithy blogs first, before I put ads on it.

I will however let you know how it went.

    @James the Just

Ya, you usually don’t get that many backlinks per UAW run..usually backlinks explode when you get a link on the sidebar of a site since that puts your link on every page of the site.. so that must have happened somehow…

And thanks for picking it up through my link man :>

    alright cool..

Mike congrats on breaking your milestone. Found your blog looking for reviews on Scrapebox and as I see it’s working good for you.
Will pick scrapebox up today as getting backlinks is always my bottleneck

Hey thanks Edwin..ya, it works like gangbusters..I’m considering running it on a mass scale to see if there is any boost in income.

  16. February 5th, 2010 at 03:56 | #16

Ok since I’m here, I’ve decided to check out your other posts. Wow congrats on your milestone! I’m yet to get there, but I will make it soon.
I’ve also started using Linkdozer (have you heard about it?) and I already saw some results with one of my stubborn sites that was sitting at $15 and wouldn’t move, now it went up to $9. Not much yet but it’s on first page so it did what it was supposed to do: shook it off it’s stale position.
    Bookmarked your site πŸ™‚

Thanks :> Ya…heard of it, don’t know too much except it’s apparently a pain to figure out at first and that it’s similar to SENuke.
