Day 262 – 5 UAW Submissions + 17 New Pages Up + Queue Rocky Music

January 22nd, 2010

HAHA this is great, watch this one!

YES! It happened…

Over the last few days my average has been $101.73, It may be early, but I feel like I’ve now just entered a new earnings range!  The good thing about my income is that when it hits a level it usually stays around there, I don’t have large fluctuations as some others do…so if I hit $100/day, chances are I’m going to stick around that level :>

The great significance of today is that *if this is the case*, my initial goal is pretty much OVER!  I set out to reach a full-time income which for me was about 50k/year.  Right now if adsense holds at $100/day that is $3,000/month…add to that my Clickbank income which is $800-$1,200 (as of late) and I’ve got $3,800-$4,200/month, good enough for me!

Here’s how Adsense has progressed since I started building sites back in mid Sept:

Sept = $8.02/day
Oct = $24.24/day
Nov = $42.19/day

Going back a month from today, here’s how things progressed:

The average for the month of December was actually more around $57, it was just brought down by the holidays.

Here is my income post Backlink Solutions.  After I did those runs, my impressions/clicks shot up and so did my income.. an average of $77/day.

I noticed a few new sites pop up and start earning lately..(I’ve been pumping out 2 sites/day for most days this month..went from 102 sites Dec 21st to 145 sites Jan 21st)…also, I’ve been adding pages to some of my better sites, perhaps this contributed to the jump to $100…  At this point it seems like we’re at a new level here 🙂

Again hopefully this isn’t premature, but I feel totally different right now.. I feel this element of relief, like, I don’t have to worry quite as much…I’m still wondering if this will hold, but I’m going to keep plugging away, putting up sites and content and once my income jumps up a bit again, I think I’ll feel like this is a lot more solid..

As far as what I did today, I now have 2 writers writing up content for my older sites.. I got 8 articles from one and 7 articles from my other ghostwriter…I went ahead and posted that all up, along with 2 other previously written articles I hadn’t posted up before.  In addition to that I also did 5 UAW submissions…all but 1 of my Ezine Articles was accepted, the one that wasn’t was not accepted for having a drug name in the title, I fixed that though and resubmitted…

I’ve got 12 more UAW submissions to make and after that I’m going to start doing additional UAW submissions for my best sites…

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $25.48
  • Hops = 166
  • Adsense = $111.34
  • Total = $136.82

    Well allow me to be the first to congratulate you on such a tremendous job! Your success is more than just finally reaching the goal of $100/day in adsense. You’ve not only done that, but you have inspired a lot of people (including myself) to hopefully follow your lead, which makes this success a lot deeper than you may think. You’ve also shown people that success here is not just “do this for 1.5 seconds a day for a week and you’ll be making a gazillion dollars a day…it’s so easy!! “. In fact, you’ve obviously worked your ass off and it was really hard work.

    Well done again, and one day I hope to be doing the same (once my kids get a little bigger and I get time on the computer!)

    Doug

    PS

    GO LEAFS !!!

    Wow that’s so fantastic! You are a perfect example of how someone should stick to one system, one goal i.e. Adsense, and just take action to see results. So many of us flit from system to system and it takes us so long to get where we want.

    Congratulations!! I can understand the relief. How are you celebrating???

    Great job Mike. That is a great accomplishment. I hit $3,000 a month last year. Now I am on my way to $6,000 a month. Just keep doing what you are doing!!

    NICELY DONE! Love the shoulder-to-the-plow, no-excuses mentality. Man up – great work, Mike.

    …can I borrow some money?

    I’ll be celebrating with you from here, congrats, and thanks for all the tips.

    @ The Debt Hawk: are you doing that all from AdSense? NICE!

    Well done, Mike.

    I just started and have two sites. Went from 16 cents in Dec to 80 cents in two days last week thanks to your encouragement.

    I’m not sure if you realize how much your positive reinforcement gives the rest of us newbies hope. Thank You.

    Wow, congratulations, Mike! The way you’ve been working, it was only a matter of time. And now that you have outsourcers, I would bet that $200/day comes even faster. You’re an inspiration!

    Mike,

    That is awesome. And it wasn’t even like 101 but 111! You can ignore this if it’s in the faq as I will go to re-read that but do you add more links to different sites regularly or only if you notice drops in rankings? I know when I skipped 2 months that one of my sites dived but obviously with all your sites it is a lot of backlinking to schedule as part of the routine.

  13. January 22nd, 2010 at 14:23 | #13

    Well Done Mike. Now you can just outsource everyhting and you know it will make the money. It will give you so much time to try out different things.

    I am creating the adsense sites using Adflex SEO blog on wordpress and also using autoblogging tools for long tail searches.

    I am also creating websites that rank high using the same methods but they are for collecting leads. I rank high for a very competitive term and I collect the leads and work with a local company. For this one website someone has offered me £700 so I could create more and flip them. I may do this to websites that don’t generate as much but it’s still profit to me. I am also trading with forex robots.

    I’m looking forward to your next goals.

    @Doug

    Thanks man, I appreciate that..Ya, it’s definitely been a roller coaster ride to get here, so many trying times.

    @Ruth – Web Career Girl

    The reason I stuck to it was because I saw success with it and I saw easily duplicatable it would be. There is an abundance of niches to enter into, so many keywords and all you need to do is get clicks, no pre-selling..

    I had success with the Google Sniper method as well by sticking to it, but that was mainly within 1 niche…as soon as that dried up, I had search for other niches and get used to ranking in other niches which didn’t quite work out as well for the next batch of sites, hence I started this program up.

    There is a fine line between switching between programs too much and knowing when a certain path isn’t for you or its just time to move onto something else.

    Now that I know more about keyword selection though I could possibly go back to that..although I still find adsense snipers to be the easiest way to boost your income up. (went off on a tangent)

    I’m going to celebrate by building more sites and making more money :> It’s kinda like an addiction when you see the results coming in for your efforts.

    @Peter (pacecom)

    Thanks Pete

    @Susan

    Thanks Susan :> working day in and out, got me here..Being accountable to all of you, to report back on this blog helped..I also set an expectation that I needed to get a certain amount of work done each day, I made that a standard that had to be met no matter what.

    I was also very motivated by my current monetary circumstances, I had a strong enough reason to make it happen.

    Outsourcing I’ve found is a great equalizer, if you’re not progressing at the rate you’d like, as soon as your business can start paying for itself, start outsourcing. 1 person will cost you $300-330/month.

    @TheDebtHawk.com

    Nice man, and thanks :>

    @James H

    Haha, thanks James, np

    @Lisa

    Yes Lisa, that was my intention, to get that stuck in your head for the rest of the day :>

    You should really watch this: http://tonyrobbinstraining.com/date/2010/01/

    @nick

    Thanks Nick, you should watch the above vid too man, it will help.

    @Bill

    Thanks Bill, congrats on making that progress! Taking action creates results which spur more action which creates more results…I’m glad that what I’m doing is providing reinforcement.

    @Linda

    Thanks Linda :> Ya, I’m thinking $200/day in adsense will be my next goal.

    @Chris

    Thanks Chris, ya…I’m thinking $200/day in adsense, which is 6k/month + my 1k from Clickbank would be 7k/month.

    I’ll have another smaller milestone before that which is $150/day in adsense. That will bring me to 4.5k/month + 1k/month in Clickbank…so 5.5k/month. The good thing about reaching this point for me will be that I can continue outsource at 1.2k/month and still be making my 50k/year of profit.

    @Deb

    Thanks Deb, ya, I knew it was going to be a $100/day when I was almost at $70 by 5pm…normally at that time I’m around $50.

    I have a different mindset..I don’t see anything as needing maintenance, I just put my time and effort into BUILDING and everything else takes care of itself I’ve found. Maintenance seems regressive…

    When I find out what the winning sites I have are, I will not try to maintain them, I will try and GROW them further. That’s what I’m looking to do with some of my adsense sites that are performing well, I’m going to hit them with more UAW runs.

    So no, I don’t spend my time building backlinks to sites, not unless I’m trying to grow them further.

    The only routine I have is of building more properties or building up winning properties..it’s never motivated by dips in earnings. If dips happen, they happen.

    @Rui

    Ya, once you know a process works, it’s really easy to confidently outsource the work which is why I now have 4 people helping me out!

    Ya, whatever works for you man, it’s always good to customize the plan and make it your own(provided of course the customizations work of course).

    January 22nd, 2010 at 16:46 | #15

    Hey Mike,

    Thanks for your reply. If you see a site that was on page 1 slip then would you at that point do more uaw or backlink solutions to bring it back? I was meaning that but maybe that is what you also mean by growing and it isn’t really maintenance, since it was a high performing site. I wasn’t sure if you compare the ranking reports from market samurai week to week or if that is too much analysis for over 145 sites. This is really inspiring.

  16. January 22nd, 2010 at 18:14 | #16

    Way to Go Mike! You did it!

    Man, can’t believe I’m this late in joining the celebration!! (I’ll be sure to make up for it!!)

    You must feel so good. Not only has all the hard work paid off, but more importantly you know have the formula to duplicate this over and over and over and over and over and over and over and…..

    …the sky is the limit…

    Good for you Mikeman! And thanks for all the encouragement and inspiration you have shared, and hopefully, will continue to share.

    @Deb

    Hey Deb, the thing is, I don’t have time to check where sites are ranking, I only pay attention to what sites are bringing in the money based on my channel data in Adsense.

    My procedure is this:

    1. Put up sites, preferably 2/day
    2. Put up additional pages for older sites as they come to me from outsourcers
    3. Every 25-30 sites, do a mass run of UAW

    And now..

    4. Re-run UAW on top earning sites.

    If I notice a top earning site stops earning as much money, the next time I do a mass backlinking run, I will just add it to the list. I don’t put my schedule on hold due to fluctuations in individual sites and scramble to regain rankings.

    As long as I am doing the above steps, my income will continue to increase regardless of if I lose a site here or there. I’ve lost several top sites and forgotten about them because I’ve had new sites come take their place. Just focus on building, build build build!

    @Sara

    Thanks Sara

    @Sara

    Hhaha… LINE PIECE!

    @Broke

    Ya, neither can I, it’s crazy! Now it’s time to do it again..

  21. Mikeman
    January 22nd, 2010 at 20:15 | #21

    @Evita

    Haha, ya, once you get to where your goal was, the next thought is, OK, I’m here? Is this solid? So the next order of business is to really put the button on this by increasing the income even further…maybe to 4,500-5k/month, that will feel a bit more solid knowing that I’m a bit over my goal. But ya, even now I feel a level of comfort..like I’m no longer struggling to reach a livable earning level..

    The next order of business though is to raise my standards as Tony would say..so $200/day in adsense will be the next goal, I’ll see if I can reach that, maybe in another 4 months time..

    And ya, I knew I had something that I can duplicate over and over when I had started outsourcing, that’s why I was able to confidently bring on 4 people to help me out! The only thing I need to figure out now is how to successfully increase the income some of my top sites generate. But I feel adding content and building more backlinks as I’m doing now will work out..

    And ya, I have no plans on stopping the updating at the moment..

  22. January 22nd, 2010 at 22:33 | #22

    Dude. Really love-love-love your site, Mike. As your income shoots up, it makes me feel like MY current addiction isn’t so silly.

    Had a rough day, here – family health issues. Pretty bad, won’t harsh the vibe here, but to end the day with reading thru this –

    (tips can of “Superliminal Purple Stuff” Relaxation/Focus energy drink at monitor…not kidding…)

    Thanks. To you, Mike. May it continue. And for the record, you were dead right about my perfectionism. This isn’t the business for that (re: Human Rewriter and UAW runs). Bulls-eye, man.

    Thanks for the spine – you call it like it is, and I appreciate that.

    Hey Mike,

    Thanks for answering my question again! I am going to double my outsourcing to try to speed things up. It seems like since there is an increase in income via outsourcing then it just needs to be scaled more to see more earnings. I hope you’ll keep posting the update too.

  25. January 22nd, 2010 at 23:29 | #25

    You know, Mike, I’m wondering about time-management. It seems you find time to blog here, answer questions and STILL rake it in. Any tips? How long do you *work* at building your sites a day?

    Are you using Scrapebox to reply to these comments somehow?…I find time management is my biggest killer.

  26. Mikeman
    January 22nd, 2010 at 23:45 | #26

    @James H

    Before I started outsourcing, I would work 6 hours each and every day…before when I was working, I would work 3 hours/day and more on weekends.

    But regarding time management…I haven’t been 100% diligent as far as that is concerned, I’ve stopped working, checked out Youtube, watched some TV etc…so you’re not alone on that.

    HOWEVER…

    I have a set expectation of what I want done each day and when it reaches a certain time in the day where I realize it’s time to buckle down or it will NOT get done, I get SERIOUS.

    Back before when I was writing the content and uploading the sites on my own, it would take me 3 hours for each site, 2 hours to write, 1 hour to upload and promote. Because I work late, once it was 12am, if I hadn’t done anything yet, I immediately went into a different mind state all together, I became driven and worked like a hound until the work was done 5-6 hours later.

    Here’s some more info for you on that:

    This really brought tears to my eyes… I have been reading your progress everyday since you started this project. This is amazing to watch someone set a goal and take the action.

    @GreenT

    Google does have to approve one of your sites-from what I remember, I have had my account for 3 years. I hear some people just open up a blogger account for almost instant approval!
