Hahah, ya, this guy is hilarious! About my last statement, I modeled my CB snipers off of the kind of sites George put up which were in WP and I modeled my adsense snipers off of what John put up which was in XSite Pro..

I have my Clickbank Sniper method creation down to a “T” within Wordpress …I know what themes I use, I know how to put up each site pretty quickly, that sort of stuff..

I could relearn things and do it in XSite Pro for my CB snipers I suppose, however I don’t have any strong reason to…I’m saving a lot of space and bandwidth as it is with my adsense snipers through XSite Pro.

Just got caught up watching a bunch of those Remi Gaillard videos, they’re pretty funny

About HostGator, I’ve noticed over the years that they have gradually increased what they give you, and that’s one of the reasons I’ve always liked them. I’m sure it just has to do with the cost of things going down, and them having more money to buy/pay for things to attract even more business. Works out for us in the long run. I was quite shocked when I saw the upgrade for the reseller hosting, very happy about that!

Thanks for the info on xsp vs. wp. Curious about your last statement though. Is it just because the adsense sites tend to be more static, whereas your clickbank snipers get updated content/new posts more frequently?

Damn, you’re right about Hostgator! Man, that makes me wonder now if I should be using 3 reseller accounts or just 2 (I recently bought 2 new ones)…

About your situation, XSite Pro uses html and it automatically updates the necessary pages when you make changes. And when you add new pages, all you have to do is copy and paste over an existing page, remove the text and replace it with the text for the new page, pretty simple.

WP isn’t the only option, especially if you’re used to html. As far as adding a directory of links to your new pages, ya, you have to do that manually in XSite Pro, but its just a matter of typing in text, highlighting it, then clicking a dropdown menu and selecting the page you want it to link to.

Making the RSS feed in XSite Pro is also easy, it takes me literally 5 seconds.

About making changes to the header and footer, you only have to do that once in XSite Pro and it updates all your pages…

That covers a bit of what XSite Pro can do and also what you’re looking for…really you can go with either XSite Pro or WP, both are good.

My take on XSite Pro is I prefer to use it for adsense snipers…however for Clickbank Snipers, I would prefer to use Wordpress.

About WordPress, yes I do realize it takes up a bit more space and bandwidth. Interestingly enough, I just checked over at HostGator, I’m almost CERTAIN they raised the amounts of bandwidth and storage space they give you for the reseller packages! The $24.95 one (the lowest one) gives you 50gb of storage, and 500gb of bandwidth per month now. I seem to remember it only being 25/250.. so that’s definitely a good thing!

Reason I’m thinking of moving over to WordPress, is that right now I use html/css. I have a base template, and when I go and create a new site I have to manually edit everything in, copy and paste a lot of things to create new pages. If I want to make a change to a page, I have to go and edit ALL pages. (like adding in Adsense code, changing the links in the header as I put up more pages). I’ve never grown one of my sites past the initial 5 pages (plus contact/priv/about) because it would be quite a bit more manual copy and pasting stuff –> creating a new “directory” style page with links to the other pages, and then creating those. Not to mention, none of my sites have an RSS feed or a SiteMap because of this.

I was thinking of going to WordPress because it automates pretty much all of that, and with the “thinking forward” that has been mentioned, that makes sense to. I can conceivably change the layout really easy with a theme change, but I think more of what makes sense to me is being able to make a change in one place, and it then affects ALL my pages. (like, modding one file to change the links in header, add adsense, links in footer, etc)

That said, I know nothing really about XSitePro. What’s your take on it, besides the fact that you use XSP for your adsense sites? I think part of what I’m thinking about, is the plugins available for WP to do things, and who knows where I might want to take my sites in the future..?

I don’t use get articles done since the quality is not always that good and I don’t want to spend my time editing the articles…with Human Rewriter, I don’t even read the articles to edit them because I know they’ll go through.

How many words are you using in the UAW articles you submit? Also, have you ever tried using the articles available at GetArticlesDone.com since you can get a 300 word UAW article for $6.95? Or is it cheaper for you at Human Article Rewriter?

About the test,

I’m not sure why the poster on the forum thought otherwise, he was apparently making a decent sum in adsense income however my test showed that there was no improvement in CTR or money earned by removing the top menu..

I removed the inner page links on the top menu on 6 of my sites across 3 different niches…

In 2 instances, the CTR stayed about the same, within a percent and the money earned also was about the same..

In the other 4 instances the CTR and money earned went down.

I compared the 6 days I had made the changes (Jan 11th – 16th) to the previous 6 days (Jan 5th – Jan 10th)…. From the figures I saw, the CTR, Impressions, Clicks, money earned, I see no link between removing the menu options and seeing an increase in money. In fact, it seems the opposite happened.

Now I think that the reason for the decline in CTR and income in 4 of the sites is due to natural fluctuation and not the removal of the menu links.. However this showed me that removing the links didn’t make any noticeable impact.

And yes, you were right in that I had no other links to the inner pages other than the sitemap..

About bandwidth, ok, going to check…

this site has used up 1,500mb of bandwidth out of 3,500 that I’ve allotted to it this month(in 17 days).

One of my Clickbank snipers made via Wordpress that gets about 50-60 visits a day has used up 144mb of bandwidth so far this month.

In comparison, one of my adsense snipers made with XSite Pro that gets about 50-60 visits a day has used up 39mb of bandwidth so far… so that’s 3.6x less bandwidth used from the HTML site.

The Ezine spree did help at first, but I reached a point where even though I kept submitting, it didn’t seem to do anything..so there is a point of diminishing returns…

As per Jeff’s suggestion, when I get back my outsourced articles from Human Rewriter for UAW, I’m going to submit them first to Ezine Articles to get 1 backlink for each of my sites before submitting them via UAW…I’m expecting after these 17 UAW submissions I’m about to do I’ll see an increase. If not, I’ll have scrapebox to look into next.

How has the test been going with removing the extra links in the header? (you said you saw someone on the forums say they had good luck with only having 1 link in the header to the main page, and not the extra links to the inner pages) – I assume that you don’t have any other links to the inner pages on those sites than just the SiteMap link?

Perhaps an off the wall question.. but how much bandwidth does THIS site use per month? (or a per day average)

How much bandwidth are your adsense sites using per month? (average usage of 1 adsense site per month) – I know you use Xsitepro for your adsense sites, I’ve been using pure html/css but am thinking about moving over to WordPress to make things easier, saw some people talking about it, I think it makes sense.

Thanks, and I’d LOVE to see you go on a massive EZA backlink attack again to see what that did to your income. I mentioned it previously, but when you did that in the past your income jumped up significantly and then stayed there.. I REALLY think doing that will get you up over the $100 per day adsense mark!
