Day 254 – Adsense Sniper #132 & #133 + Managing Ghostwriters

January 14th, 2010

2 more sniper sites done…

One thing I haven’t been mentioning is that each day I also have to put time into managing my Ghostwriters.  I need to keep up daily correspondence with them, respond back to them when work is submitted, critique their work then offer them suggestions on what to improve, also review their work and make sure it’s up to par and not declining in quality…

No one would want to work for an employer who just dumps stuff for them to do then checks back in with them 1 week later…that would also lead to slacking and the like.

All of this stuff takes time and is a part of what I do on a daily basis ever since I started outsourcing.

Today I also outsourced some work to a Ghostwriter who recently did a good job with my 5 trial articles(which I have yet to post up)…I gave her 35 articles that are additional pages to build up on a few of my older sites..we’ll see how this goes…

I also have a 4th resource who should be getting back to me after the first 5 trial articles who may be starting on some work as well…nothing is certain until writers prove themselves reliable by submitting work on time consistently, there is a lot of flaking in this industry.

Making sure that there is enough work for everyone is becoming something I need to focus on more and more…I’m going to have to spend some time doing  a load of keyword research soon, not only for new sites, but also for inner pages to build up on older sites.

Not to mention, I also have to do UAW submissions, and play around with Scrapebox…Lots of work!  Hopefully things pay off soon and I can finally reach a $100/day avg income in adsense, at that point a huge weight will be off my shoulders as that plus my CB income will be a livable income for me.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $70.02 – 2 CB sniper sales + 1 sale for Authority Site#1
  • Adsense = $78.96
  • UAW Sale = $26.80 (thank you :>)
  • Total = $175.78

    I like the way you think about your ghostwriters and want to give them regular work etc. Because, when I used to do a lot of writing sometimes clients would ignore me for months, then email me asking to write x amount of articles in 24 articles. It does nothing to boost morale. And I’m sure it will also help to make sure they are more reliable for you, as they’ll want to work better for you. I’m sure you’ll be at $100 a day Adsense in no time with their help!

    @Peter (pacecom)

    Haha ya :>

    @Ruth – Web Career Girl

    Thanks Ruth, ya, I’m seeing more of my new sites pop up in the earnings the last few days, my income is staying level for some reason but hopefully there is another spike, I find it usually happens after backlinking runs so maybe UAW will help.

    @Chris Hunter

    Ya, ODesk or Get A Freelancer

    @Bruce

    Hahah nice!

    “JamestheJust” on Elance. Top 1% of writers out of 24k writers. Articles SEO’d, with naturally-occurring LSI keyword phrases. Busy now, working for a rocking affiliate marketer who’s paying me pretty well for re-writing his stuff for UAW no doubt, will wind up quiet here in about 3 weeks…If you have any sense of doing the right thing, you’ll hire me. I know where you blog…

    Seriously, if you need another writer in about that time-frame…um…well, I’m here for ya! 🙂

    Yes. That was pathetic. Whatever.

    @James H

    haha, thanks man, I gotta protect my network of sites though so I would only outsource to those who don’t know what I’m doing :>
