Day 243 – Adsense Sniper #113 + KW Research + BLS

January 3rd, 2010

Lol @ 1:01 & 1:51

Got another adsense sniper up and also queued up 3 more Backlink Solutions snippets.ย  That brings the total to 17 Backlink Solution snippets building 60 backlinks each for 1020 backlinks total (20 links for each of the 51 sites backlinked)…it’s 20 over the limit of 1000/month, so not sure how that’s going to work exactly.

Aside from that, I did a bit of keyword research as well and found 25 keywords to use as inner pages for 3 of my sites…This is all part of the plan to build up some of my sites so that my whole adsense portfolio doesn’t consist of only 5 page sites.

I’ve got another girl who has completed my 5 trial articles who I’ve assigned a weeks worth of work to which she should be starting on Monday, I’m hoping that she becomes another Ghostwriter I can rely on.ย  I already have 1 Ghostwriter I can count on who has given me 80 articles to date(2 batches of 35 plus the first 5 trial articles)..I did assign another person a 5 article trial back before New Years, they did 1 article but I haven’t heard from them since..

The faster I can find some reliable people, the sooner I can start really expanding my adsense business..

And about the whole running out of channels issue…I’m going to look into getting an additional adsense account sometime in the next 30 days…If I reach a point where I have no more channels and I can’t delete any more redundant ones, I’m just going to put site building on hiatus and start building up pages for existing sites and backlinking.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $25.48
  • Hops = 133
  • Adsense = $71.93
  • Total = $97.41

    Mike,

    I think that adding more pages to your sites is a great idea. I have found that larger sites make a lot more money.

    @TheDebtHawk.com

    Hey, thanks for the reassurance on that….I’m going to try just adding plenty of pages and focus on backlinking up the main domain and see what happens.

    I’ve made several authority sites before with a minimum of 60 pages each and I know that they get at least 50-100 visits a day…I have a lot of adsense sites that earn me money with 10-20 visits a day, so it will be interesting to see what happens to those.

    Hey Mike,

    Have you seen fluctuations in CTR before?
    Recently last week i noticed my CTR had dropped by half and i couldn’t figure out why.
    I’ve been using my own template for the adsense snipers and it used to work out well but not sure why im seeing CTR dip now.
    Do you use x-factor’s black/green template and has that been working well?

    @Chris

    Oh ya, fluctuations in CTR happen all the time..Don’t worry about it. I have sites that get 1/2 the ppl visiting clicking on some days, while other days they barely get any clicks, it’s normal, part of the game.

    And ya, the X Factor template is proven and works really well for me.

    Hey Mike!
    Where did you get all your domains? godaddy, namecheap? Have you ever tried yahoo small business domains? It’s only $1.99 for the first year, and of course they will charge you a lot following years, part of their plan. And you can only register one such cheap domain, which means the second one will cost $10 as normal, but I’ve found some guys selling this kind of cheap domains on taobao (like ebay), and I’ve bought several, which work fine for me by now, the idea is then to transfer these domains to sites like godaddy, it will save you a lot of money. I’ve talked with the guy who sold me such domains, he already sold thousands, and he won’t say a word on how he did this. It made me curious, I just wonder how he managed to register such large amount of domains without yahoo noticing, I mean you have to use different credit cards or paypal accounts for these cheap domains, how’s that possible?

    @Shane

    Hey Shane, I get them at Namecheap…I have a coupon I use which brings the domains to $8.88 or so I believe…not the cheapest, but I don’t mind the price…the privacy is cheap though (99 cents a year w/coupon), and I like their support.

    Transferring domains is a real bitch though, I don’t know how it is with Godaddy, but with Namecheap, you have to buy 2 years worth if you’re transferring over. That means you should only be transferring over as the domains are expiring, and if you have 100 odd domains that you’re doing this process on, that will be a real headache and pricey too.

    Hey Mike,

    Thanks for your insight on my question!

    @Mikeman
    Mike did you reverse the names godaddy and namecheap? Because I have transferred from Godaddy to Namecheap and was not forced to renew with 2 years. Like you, I prefer Namecheap as well because of the privacy and how great their service is. FYI, Godaddy is a royal pain to transfer domains from. I think they purposely make it so difficult so that you give up and just renew with them again.

    @Sara

    Hmm, strange…no I didn’t mean the reverse…

    I encountered this issue when I tried moving my recently purchased GoDaddy domains via the auction over to Namecheap. Not sure why you didn’t..
