Day 227 – Managing Ghostwriters + Keyword Research

December 18th, 2009

Well, I’ve had no problem finding people who speak English well thus far, in fact, I have too many candidates.  I currently have 1 whom I have hired from the Philippines, I have just given her 7 days worth of keywords to work on and can now expect 35 articles a week from her(7 sites a week). She spent a lot of time on the articles and made some well researched 500-700 word articles despite me asking for 450-500 words.  She also asked questions when she needed clarification, made herself available to be contacted via chat and met the deadlines that were given.  I’m quite happy with her :>

Aside from that, I’m having some trial runs with 3 other writers, all of which are from the U.S. .. nothing is finalized yet with them as they are still doing a few “test” articles to start, but if I were to bring on 4 people, I would certainly have my hands full.

It seems like my problem is soon going to be making sure that all the people I’m outsourcing to have enough work on their plate!  some have expressed interest in not only doing 35 articles a week, but 50 a week.  I’m going to have to do a LOT of keyword research over the next few days..

with all the sites I’m going to have in a short period of time, I’ve also been thinking of getting another adsense account…

Even if I have to spend 1k in outsourcing articles the next month, if I can get 120-150 sites in exchange for that, I’d say that’s a good trade off…I’m getting ahead of myself though, first I need to secure more writers.

Anyway, in addition to interviewing potential new ghostwriters, I also spent time doing keyword research.  Mainly, I had to find inner page keywords for about 6 of my last keywords.  In the process of doing this I also was able to find 5 additional keywords to make sites out of.

Over the coming days, I’ll be doing plenty of research for new adsense sniper keywords.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $0
  • Hops = 154
  • Adsense = $64.85

Hi Mike, can I ask where you found that Philippine writer? I’ve not had any luck with the writers I have found. Secondly, would it be possible to see one of the articles she has written (to see the quality)? If that is possible you can just send it by email.

You mention BookMarkwiz in a few of your posts and I took a look at the videos they have. It looks interesting but I cant find a lot of information from real users. Did you ever get a chance to look at it? Anybody else used it?

How would you go about opening another Adsense account? I’ve seen some people talk about this in the past, but never truly found information on how to do so.

    @Mikael Rieck

At ODesk…however I’ve had no problems finding people @ $2 both there and at GAF. You just need to be vigilant. I was prepared to repost every day on both sites for as long as it took to find who I was looking for…thankfully it only took me a couple of days

3 out of the 4 people I found are from the US and in talking with them, I could tell they were completely fluent. With those in the Phillipines though, you can tell it’s not their native language and so you will need to do a few touch ups, in my case, touching it up takes me about 3 minutes.

    I’ll send you an email..

Hey Dan, I never actually got around to trying it out, however I heard from Sara that Bookmarking Demon has been patched and is now working much better…If I stop using SENuke I’ll probably go back to Bookmarking Demon again considering that.

Hey Dave, I’d rather not discuss something of this nature on a public site bearing my name, but I can tell you the information is out there, try checking Blackhat World(I think its down right now).
