Day 222 – Adsense Sniper #98 & #99

December 13th, 2009

HAHA! this is hilarious.

OK, another 2 adsense snipers down…

I’m probably going to actually start outsourcing in a day or two…I figure I’ll post up a trial project, 5 articles to be done and that I’m looking for several people and consistent work will be available thereafter for those who write well.Β  I’m also planning to get my outsourcers to report back to me on a daily basis on what they have done for the day as a way of being accountable..

I was looking at a bunch of different places, odesk, get a freelancer and bestjobs.ph..

Anyway, today I noticed my #1 adsense sniper has again dropped off the charts, that site is so annoying…I think this time it was due to me having outsourced those backlinks which should be done on Monday…oh well, all part of the game.

As a side note, I’ve noticed that I have 1 site that is starting to bring in some income off of 5 visitors a day, 47% of which is coming from Bing and only 25% Google..thought that was interesting as it’s not ranking anywhere in Google for it’s main kw but it is able to pull from Bing…this is one of my older 3month old sites by the way and it JUST started getting Bing traffic it seems.

Doing a quick look through my other oldish 3 month old sites in Analytics it seems like there are a select few that get Bing traffic..Another one of my sites gets 36% Google traffic and 26% Bing traffic..

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $47.05 – 2 CB sniper sales
  • Hops = 142
  • Adsense = $63.81

Ha, ha,ha, I love when the girl goes nuts in her kitchen!!! great video, Mike.

Also I notice your Adsense revenue is basically solid at $1500+ a month and looks to soon be at $2000 a month. That is a major achievement imo.

Your Holiday stocking should have a big check from G. πŸ™‚

Ya, “What kind of drugs are YOU on?” haha!

Ya, it’s at an avg of $62.53/day right now, that’s $1,875.. I’d like to double this so that I’ll be at 4.5k/month, that might take another 100 sites, at least not factoring aging/backlinking of my sites.

Hey Mike – hope you are doing well and congrats on almost finishing 100 snipers!!!

I had a question about keyword selection. If you see 2 PR 0’s in the top 10 and one or two PR 1’s would you go after the keyword? I know there’s always other factors involved.

Also, do you consider ” – ” to be the same as a PR 0 in the consideration? In other words, if you see 2 PR 0’s and a ” – ” do you consider it a go if it meets all the other criteria. I have noticed at times sites that show ” – ” later come up as PR 2’s or above like a month later…

    Thanks Mike.

Sorry Mike – here’s an example case of a keyword that fits the above scenario (assuming it has decent CPC and is above 2900 searches).

    #1: PR 2
    #2: PR 1
    #3: PR 1
    #4: PR 1
    #5: PR 3
    #6: PR 4
    #7: PR 4
    #8: PR 3
    #9: PR 0
    #10: PR 0

    Hey thanks Mike..

Hmm..ok well to answer your first question, I see – and 0 as the same, ya.

About your example there, this is quite a common occurrence. You see that the whole of the top page is pretty much taken but then you see some openings that are right at the very bottom.

Usually when you go after these types of keywords you end up ranking right there at #9 or #10…but with backlinking, you could raise up to where those PR 1’s are.

There are other factors to consider yes, like what kind of domains are ranking here and how many backlinks each has(Do those PR 0’s have less than 10 backlinks?), so I can’t give you feedback with 100% certainty, but on the surface from this limited information, it looks good.

My #1 sniper site dropped off the map again, too. What’s up with that? I feel you on being annoyed! I was a solid #2 then pow, down to 500 and something. Sorry, I hope your site and mine both come back soon!

Ya, in my experience it’s happened when I start doing some promotion, or when some promotion that was going on suddenly comes to an end.

Last time my site came back a week later…

The site should come back..although I’ve had 1 experience where a top earner never made it past page 2 when it started to climb back up.

I guess if you really focused on getting it out you could through steady link building..
