I asked specifically for XF style and provided the details needed to write in that style (intro, some minor tips, then 200 words or so on product specs/benefits). I got back nothing like what I asked for and even was told that at $4 per article I "wasn't paying for researched content" and that if I wanted the details added about specific products I would have to add them myself since I was the expert on the niche :S !!! So even at that price you have to watch out for what you get :( I outsourced articles for 2 XF sites at $4 per article from an english speaker. It usually ends up being in broken English, and I end up spending more time fixing it than it'd take me to originally write it. On top of that, I end up with a poorly structured article that I'm not happy with anyway since the ideas being written about weren't what I wanted. Then, I don't know about my niche so it's harder for me to do article marketing. The best reliable writing I've found is at $4.50/article but her time is limited anyway. I'm going to keep on looking, but I'm almost ready to accept the fact that good writing can't be bought for $2 or $3 per. I’ve been having trouble finding reliable writing for that price.
