Day 212 – Adsense Sniper #83 & 84 + Adsense Milestone

December 3rd, 2009

Woo, 77 bucks today!

My previous high was $67.75 just 2 days ago…this increase to $77 came when one of my older sites(sniper site #13, one of the early ones) suddenly decided to do 2x what my #1 adsense site normally does in a day…

When I first checked my adsense at 1pm it was already at $50, that was pretty sweet!  I’m not sure how sustainable this will be for this site to keep performing like this though…this is a site that doesn’t get too many visitors, maybe about 10/day and strangely, only 15% of traffic comes from the main kw, the other traffic comes from 2 of the inner pages that are ranking.. the 2 inner pages are ranking for both the singular and plural versions of the keyword (ex: piano  stool & piano stools).

This has been one of my top earning sites but it’s never gone this crazy before..

Anyways aside from that, I was able to get another 2 adsense snipers up…

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $27.74 – 2 CB sniper sales
  • Hops = 177  (new analytics)
  • Adsense = $77.62

    Mike that is awesome congrats on that day; hopefully that keeps up. I have a quick question for you; are you doing anything to your sites to build backlinks besides UAW? Or are you just focusing on building site after site after site?

    Hi Mike, I just came across your blog and I’m really impressed by your dedication to your affiliate business and your willingness to help others via this site. I want to imitate what you’re doing and generate passive income. But, I’ve only read up to Day 38 so I don’t know if your money making strategies have changed. I see that you’ve changed to Adsense Sniper sites from CB Sniper sites. Are you still using the same method for adsense sniper sites? Or, is the method totally different? Also, I was trying to do keyword research on my own, but I don’t have a lot of time. I work from home right next to my 2-year-old and I also have a 5-year-old in school. So, my free time is very limited. I need some tools to help me get started quickly and effectively. Besides, UAW and Human Rewriter, Steve and Angela backlinks, can you recommend other tools that I need to add to my arsenal? Are you using Bookmarking Demon or SENuke now? I’m in dire need of making the keyword research faster and less painful. Are you still using Micro Niche Finder for keyword research? Thank you in advance!

    From reading the first 38 days of your journey, I noticed that you won’t post your affiliate links in your responses. If this is still the case, please reconsider and email me your affiliate links to whatever tools you recommend. Since I’m going to make the purchase anyway, you should receive credit for the recommendations.

    Thanks and God Bless!

    WHOHOO! I’m also interested in what you’ve done as far as backlinking since you had decided to just build sites. I know you did those UAW runs but have you done anything since?

    Congrats on your progress! I have really enjoyed following you every day.

    Quick question…I know you’ve already posted it here somewhere but I can find it…what tracking software do you use for SERP position for all of your sites? Is it easy to use?

    Another question…maybe you haven’t thought this far ahead but what are you going to do after you reach the $4,000 a month? Continue building Adsense sites? Move on to some other IM money maker? Hang out at the beach? Just curious because you are so focused on your goal that I would like to know what you are going to do once you reach it.

    Anyway, congrats again on your progress and I will keep up with you daily!!

    Mike
    Thank God for your inspiration. It is so encouraging to read your stuff. Keeps me going!

    I recall you bought Niche Devil… It’s sold out now, but may come back. They don’t say what it does, just how it helps. Any opinion? Also… Chitika… can we include it with adsense or is that a no… no… ?

    Have you tried a stand alone Chitika site? Maybe a good backup to adsense?

    Hi
    I meant to comment that I have bought a lot of marketing aids that are just not worth the effort, let alone the money. Mass Article Creator for one… the thing doesn’t help create articles (it’s only a bunch synonyms and the submitter doesn’t work)

    It was the top CB seller for a few months.

    C’est la vie!

    Thanks for your help.

    @susan

    Thanks Susan,

    The last few sites I’ve done #42-72 have only had 1 run of UAW done on them…prior to that, I also did Ezine Submissions, but right now I’m just focusing on pumping out 30 sites at a time, then backlinking them with a run of UAW and then continuing to build more sites…

    At some point I’ll probably go back and do a bit more backlinking, but right now I’m focused on getting a lot of sites out there and at least the 1 run of UAW(in addition to bookmarking/digg/rss submission) which will yield about 30 backlinks per site.

    @Dee

    Hey Dee, A LOT has changed since day 38..at first I was doing Clickbank snipers, then I did Hubpages & Infobarrels and now I’m focused on Adsense Snipers, which is where I’m going to be staying as I’m seeing the most benefit out of pursuing this path…

    If you want to find out how I’m making my money with adsense, I’m following XFactor’s Adsense course, you can find it over at the Warrior forum. I haven’t been putting up affiliate links on this site because I didn’t create the site as a way to get commissions, but to just chronicle my journey.. I just put up the links at the side due to the request of others, I’ll look into putting up more of the programs I use.

    About doing keyword research, I use Micro Niche Finder to do mine, I also have SEO for Firefox installed on my Firefox browser so that if I hit refresh, I can see the page rank of all the pages on page 1 of Google and I can also check the Yahoo backlinks for the ones I want to dig a little further through.

    Keyword research is the most important aspect of all and that’s not something you want to speed up though. Keyword research is something you would want to take a whole day on(you could try this on the weekend) and just sift through and pick out as many keywords as you can in different niches for your next batch of sites.

    I think the main thing you need to focus on is finding time for your business rather than looking for tools though…The truth of the matter is, if you’re not putting time into your business every day without fail, you will not be making any progress regardless of what tools you have.

    It takes sacrifice, I’ve had to sacrifice A LOT this past year(social life, hobbies like weight lifting), a lot of my life is on the back-burner right now, but it’s what I must do if I want to get to a full time income ASAP. I would say you need to find some way to free up a good 3 hours a day on weekdays and even more on weekends if you want to start seeing some nice progress towards your income goals. Find a way to squeeze that work in on a daily basis no matter the cost, even if it means using your lunch break at work to work on your business…or do like what you’re doing right now, multi-task.

    If you want this bad enough you will find the time, and once you make it a HABIT of working every single day without fail, and you hold yourself accountable to something(in my case it’s my blog, but it could also be a calendar with X’s marked off) you will soon find it very easy to get the work done each day.

    Right now I’m using UAW for bookmark submission/RSS submission but I’m not using it to do any backlinking building.

    If you’re looking to get started with the XFactor adsense method which I as well as many others are using and having great success with I’d recommend you use Micro Niche Finder, an automated RSS submission program(I use RSS Bot/RSS Submit/SENuke, although you could get away with just 1), Bookmarking program(I’m using SENuke right now since Bookmarking Demon has really gotten worse in the last update..although I hear “Bookmark Wiz” is a good replacement. And you’ll also need something to keep track of your promotional efforts to see what effect your backlinking has on your site ranking for it’s keywords. Right now I’m using “Magic Rank Tracker”. I hear Market Samurai has the ability to do the same and that it may be smoother moving through all your website projects, although that’s more expensive.

    @Lisa

    Hey Lisa, I mention everything I did for the day on my blog, so nope, haven’t done any backlinking since doing those UAW submissions where I backlinked Adsense Sniper #33-72. I like to stop every 30 or so sites and do UAW backlinking, at some point down the road I may stop again and do more backlinking for each but for now those 30 backlinks that will be generated by UAW will be enough to get my sites ranking decent(although a lot rank well with just Bookmarking/RSS Submission and a Digg).

    @Jason

    Hey thanks Jason.. The tracking software I use is “Magic Rank Tracker” and it is easy to use, ya..
    hxxp://www.article-rewriter.info/mrt/ (replace x’s with t’s)

    Haha, as for what I’d do after hitting 4k/month, well, I’d be focused on getting up to 6k/month, then 8k/month then 10k/month, then 12k/month :>

    Once I hit 4k/month though that would provide a lot of comfort, I’d know I don’t need to work a regular job if I don’t want to at that level, even though it’s 1/2 what I would make at my job.

    I think if I REALLY want to be comfortable and not worry about money I need to be making 10k/month though.

    But ya, I’ll keep on working to higher levels of income, no reason to stop! Upon reaching 4-5k/month though I might relax a little bit more here and there though.

    @Bill

    Hey thanks Bill :> I haven’t been using Niche Devil, a friend of mine had done so and was earning well but had most of his sites de-indexed.

    I’m looking to WPMage right now as something I’ll use to supplement my Adsense income.

    and ya, there are good and bad products out there for sure..

    Quick question…when you say 1 run of UAW does that mean 1 set of 3 articles with 3 resource boxes covering 6 main domain/keyword phrases?

  9. Mikeman
    December 3rd, 2009 at 19:32 | #9

    @Lisa

    What I do is outsource 3 articles to human rewriter and that becomes what I use as input for 1 UAW submission…

    That 1 submission builds backlinks to 2 domains at once, with each domain I put in 6 variations on the keyword linking back to it…

    if the keyword is “piano chairs”, I’ll use the keywords “piano chairs”, “piano chair” and then the 4 other variations will be the inner page keywords I want my site to rank for.

    So would it be a bad idea to do 1 submission with six links going back to the main page of 6 sites? Just to get the ball rolling on newer sites?

    Hi Mike….I love that guy in the video!! ..he even sounds like Michael Keaton in Beetlejuice (which btw, is a GREAT film.)

    almost forgot, congrats on hitting another milestone.

    @Lisa

    Well, I can tell you that I personally wouldn’t do that…that would only allow you to get 2 backlink text variations per site with each submission, and if you don’t have enough variation in your backlinks text, it can have the opposite effect.

    @Bruce

    Haha, ya, that guy is good…thanks Bruce.
