@Bruce

Ya, unfortunately that's how it's turned out, CB has been really volatile lately...I believe the reason is that this particular niche has A LOTTTTT of competition in it... my hops for the month is 4.7k vs 6.4k last month.

Had I found a less competitive niche or spread out amongst many different niches the income would probably be more stable.

But even when I was doing well with CB I'd have maybe 2 days out if 15 where there were $0 days..you don't get that with Adsense.

I've always thought that was conjecture/opinion to think that's how the clicks break out between positions. Your experience with this is interesting.

Also, Mike, you are sure proving, at least to my eyes, that Adsense earnings are steadier than CB money.

@Lisa

Ya, thanks Lisa, next I need to get back another one of my top earners that has been gone for over a month.

@nick

Hey Nick, it's kind of hard to share this insight with you when I'm restricted to not talking about specifics regarding CTR and clicks...But I'll say that the CTR AND clicks I received at #7 were consistent with an AVERAGE day at the #1 spot.

As far as the unique visitors, the analytics showed them to be at 40 which is consistent with an average day at the #1 spot...however when I was at the #1 spot, I have seen the unique visitors spike at 58, 60 and one time even 74.

@Ruth - Web Career Girl

NP Ruth, ya, will be interesting to see how the income goes, I'm sure the rankings/earnings are going to be fluctuating as the 2 sites over the past few days have been shifting around a lot at the bottom of page 1 and even onto page 2 sometimes(My #1 adsense sniper had started ranking again on the 28th).

That is an interesting insight, but 100 impressions must not be 100 unique visitors in this case. You had analytsics to track the visitors or you are depending on adsense's impression.

The earnings might be the same at different spots., but earnings = Click x cpc.

Did your site at #1 gonna more clicks than the sites at #7? Or are they the same. For me, i am more concern with clicks rather than CPC.

CPC changes, but as long as the clicks are there, we will earn when a big fish advertise on Adwords
