@Susan

Hey Susan, ya, they are all on 1 reseller account right now.

Ya, I always seem to run into these setbacks which makes me feel like I'm running in place.. frustrating! I'll keep on creating/promoting and hopefully it will pass.

@alex

Hey Alex, I'd say I work at least 6 hours solid a day.. I don't work straight though, I work on and off, take breaks, so that 6 hours may actually be 8 hours....At times I work 12 hours though or 16 hour days.

@Sara

Ya, glad I got my adsense revenue, and soon I hope to see EBay up higher as well.

@nick

It especially sucks when you have 100+ sites giving you $0..

@Bruce

Ya, it is ...I checked my hops and found that they have gone down recently, ever since the beginning of the month...that also coincides with a lot of new competition I've been getting for some of my keywords, new sites have been popping up so I think the new competition has something to do with it.

I've contacted the vendor before, nothing has changed on the sales page and my aff id is showing up...it's either the new competition that's doing this or possibly a drop in traffic for this niche.

BTW, I just got a sale today, a small $16 one..

I've found that the hops have gone down for me even if I am ranked higher than my competition. I have a theory that even if you rank higher than another sniper site, the fact that the domain name is targetted to the user's search query makes them able to pull traffic much easier and they can actually pull sales from you.

I have seen this several times now, both with my CB sites getting new snipers and also with me putting up 2 adsense snipers for 1 kw...

With my adsense snipers, when I used to have my #1 earner, it was ranked #1 and I had another top level domain for the same keyword at #8. the #8 domain earned only a couple of dollars while the main domain was there, but as soon as my main domain vanished, the #8 sniper has seen a tripling of it's earnings. that showed me that if the user isn't finding sites at the top that seem to match their query(the title/domain name is not to their liking), some get funneled down to the lower pages that may be more targeted.

Another example is for another keyword, I did the same thing but instead the 2 sites started ranking side by side within the top 5 of page 1....what ended up happening was rather than getting more traffic, the traffic was SPLIT between the two, literally.

So again, my theory is any kind of sniper showing up on page 1 can sap your sales and that may be what is happening right now for my CB sites..

@Tech Blogger

Hey man, I would never put all my Ezines under 1 name. I have many different author names. You don't want the people reading the articles to think there is this 1 guy who is a specialist on karate, antique furniture, toaster ovens, weightlifting and archery.

Also, you don't want all your sites in 1 account for other aff marketers to find all your niches.

Keep the same platinum account but on that, make new author names. A good thing to do is create 1 new one for every new niche you enter..although when you're like me and you're in almost 100 different niches, sometimes you get a bit lax with that rule.

It's a good idea to use many pen names. You can have multiple pen names on your account.

Hmm......you were are making a killing online. I wish I could even make just 1 CB sale.

Just a question. Do you have all your ezine articles on one author name?? I have a platinum account, but don't want to put all my sites on one name. I want to reduce my competition.

Hey Mike, the CB sales (or lack thereof) seem odd to me :-(

I assuming you have many sites (like 50 or more) with the CB link on them, right?
...and you are only promoting one CB product, right?

This is the same one that the vendor changed the sales page? right?

Have you tried contacting the vendor to see if his overall sales are down?
...have you checked his sales page? ...anything changed on it?
..have you tested your links(s) to see if your hoplink ID shows up?

Just trying to think of things I'd check/do myself. I hope it comes back up for you, which it probably will.

Ouch! That sucks about your CB sales, or lack thereof rather. Man, aren't you ever so glad you branched out to other ways to earn money besides relying on those sites as passive income?

How much time do you use per day in order to work? On average. Just a curiosity :-)
