Day 197 – AS#71&72 + Site Rankings + BIG Adsense Day Again!

November 18th, 2009

In light of yesterday’s assessment of my progress as well as today’s income I am convinced the way to go from here on out is all out site creation…

Just 13 days ago I broke $50 for the first time, yesterday I had my highest day at $52.51, and today I broke $60, I made $62.33!

I estimate that if I keep this up, in order to reach $100/day in Adsense I’ll need to build another 50-70 adsense sites.

At 2/day, that will take me around a month.  As you know I made a goal to hit 4k/month by the end of the year, I’m thinking as long as I can have a steady stream of these sites being built each day on good keywords, I should be able to see that kind of income very soon..

Earlier today when I was wondering what I should do next, I did some investigating into all of my sites, tried to see where each of my sites are ranking and which inner pages are ranking and all…

What I found was that I have quite a few new sites which have inner pages ranking between 30th – 70th on Google with no backlinks.  I’m starting to see by analyzing all that data that there are certain keywords for the inner pages that are more prone to rank than others and that at some point it might be prudent to attempt to get those select few inner pages to rank by backlinking them.  However that is a future project for when I’m making more money…

I also have another little plan to increase my income further which is to make an additional article on the main keyword of all my sites to see if I can get double rankings…but again, that will have to be on another day…

In analyzing all this stuff, I found out where all of my sniper sites are ranking on Google, so if you’re interested in where all my main domains are ranking for their main keywords check this out (These sites are listed in the order in which I created them, N/A = not in top 100):

First 5 were not done in line with XFactor…

AS#01 – 10th
AS#02 – 2nd
AS#03 – 32nd
AS#04 – 7th
AS#05 – 88th

AS#06 – 40th

Adsense snipers #7 – 26 have had 3-15 Ezines submitted to them, Inner page SENuke runs / UAW runs and/or main page UAW runs:

AS#07 – 5th
AS#08 – 81st
AS#09 – 10th
AS#10 – N/A
AS#11 – N/A
AS#12 – 3rd
AS#13 – 19th
AS#14 – 69th
AS#15 – 4th
AS#16 – 5th
AS#17 – 1st
AS#18 – 8th
AS#19 – 17th
AS#20 – 96th
AS#21 – N/A
AS#22 – 1st
AS#23 – 2nd
AS#24 – N/A
AS#25 – 11th
AS#26 – N/A

AS#27-31 – I ventured off track trying something different with AS#27-31 basically, the gamble didn’t pay off and I don’t really count these as snipers.

AS#32 – 86th
AS#33 – 53rd
AS#34 – 19th
AS#35 – 9th
AS#36 – 9th
AS#37 – 3rd
AS#38 – 7th
AS#39 – 1st
AS#40 – N/A
AS#41 – 3rd
AS#42 – 6th
AS#43 – 70th
AS#44 – 7th
AS#45 – 6th
AS#46 – 51st
AS#47 – 6th
AS#48 – 26th
AS#49 – 22nd
AS#50 – N/A
AS#51 – 6th
AS#52 – 35th
AS#53 – 10th
AS#54 – 9th
AS#55 – 6th
AS#56 – 18th
AS#57 – 74th
AS#58 – 97th
AS#59 – 10th
AS#60 – N/A
AS#61 – N/A
AS#62 – 7th
AS#63 – 7th
AS#64 – 6th

These were made in the last few days, not enough time to rank:

AS#65 – N/A
AS#66 – N/A
AS#67 – N/A
AS#68 – N/A
AS#69 – N/A
AS#70 – N/A

As you can see in this game, you have some hits you have some misses…note also that some of the N/A’s are sites that dissappear then reappear on page 1…

The more sites you put out, the better you’re going to get at selecting the keywords/niches…And also that the more sites you create, the more $$ you’re going to earn.

You can see I have plenty of sites that a lot of people would start sweating over and wondering why they’re not ranking or why they’re not ranking well, but I don’t even look back, I just keep on pumping out the sites and it’s got me to where I am now.

Another interesting thing to note up there is that 26 of the above sites are ranking on page 1…(I didn’t even count sites 27-31 though which have sites on page 1 because those were just total departures)…and not counting the last 6 sites which have yet to rank, that means 26/59 sites are on page 1..that’s 44%.  So basically when I make 2 sites a day, at least one of those is going to wind up on page 1.

It’s been my experience that you can earn some decent money even if you’re #6-8 on page 1…decent money being a couple of dollars $2-3..not all the time, but sometimes.  #10 might earn you $1 or less and the real money is up at #1-#5.

Well, I’m going to wrap it up there for now…

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $42.09 – 2 sniper sales
  • Hops = 171(new analytics)
  • Adsense = $62.33

BTW, I forgot to mention yesterday I also had registered 4 new domains for WordPress Mage giving me a total of 21 domains thus far….I just received 3 of them today so I can start working on them.  I’ve decided to take this real slow though since Ebay is crazy, I’m going to build these things slowly and see what happens.

    Awesome job Mike great to see your hard work really paying off. This really motivates me to continue building the sites; although I am not nearly as fast as you are.

    awesome!

    looks like the 80-20 rule is true for u.

    I just not as motivated as u in producing sites. Btw did you has success with amazon?

    I am now re-trying with it on my 2 new sites, and looking forward to the results~

    So exciting!! Super motivating again! Now I can’t wait to see my results after 30 days…

    Wow!!

    Well done!

    I did see that thread on WF when someone was mentioning setting up sites with basically only the index page, besides the contact, privacy etc.

    Hm. That sounds really risky to me. We’ll see what happens. Maybe there will be a ton of domains available in 18 months or so… Now, the person is quite successful at the moment, and I’m sure many will follow in the same foot steps. It is a LOT easier to only write one page of content than 5 or 7!

    I’m with Mikeman, this is a long term plan for me. I am not willing to be on the edge and risk my account. I’d much rather go the more cumbersome route for a long term passive income stream.

    Hey, Ya’ll!! Soon there will be time to plan for next year and where we want to be at the end of 2010!!

    You are having MAJOR SUCCESS with Adsense.

    Actually, you and the XFaxtor guy are the first I’ve known of that do so well with adsense. (I know there are probably tons of others, like Griz, for instance, but most others don;t reveal any hard numbers to prove it.)

    I agree, if you keep at 2 sites a day pace, you’ll hit $4K a month – good luck!!!

  6. November 18th, 2009 at 12:45 | #6

    Mike, you are always so motivating. I am happy for your success and it must feel great to see a consistent ant earning stream versus the ups and downs of clickbank sales.

    Hi Mike

    Looking thru the expiring domains for sale is not an easy task. When I think I’ve found something interesting, There’s a YES under FAKE or there are are NO backlinks or any redeeming features. I found a gambling card counter software… Guess that would have to be promoted with ‘Great Care’ and disclaimers that it’s illegal in US.

    Glad to hear you find some … I’ll keep looking.

    Thanks for your blog.

    Mike all i can say is you are a site pumping machine… LOL
    This is exciting and I would not be surprised if you exceeded your goal by the end of the year.

    Hey Mike,

    It’s been a while and it’s great to see how well you are doing. Have you compared how you do on page 1 vs later in terms of number of searches your keyword terms get? We have to catch up.

    @Susan

    Thanks Susan, glad that it was motivating for you..you can definitely speed up your site creation as long as you have 2-3 hours a day, maybe I’ll go over my process sometime.

    @nick

    Ya, Nick, it definitely comes down to a fraction of the sites making the majority of the money…the more sites you make, the more likely you’re to find the winners.

    And ya, you definitely have to have a strong enough reason for why you’re building this business to fuel you..

    I’m not sure what you mean about Amazon…I haven’t put it on any of my Adsense snipers.

    @Lisa

    :> 1-2/day will lead to fast results if you maintain it non-stop.

    @Evita

    Hey Evita, it’s a matter of time for people. At my fastest I can research and write 5 pages of content for a site in 1 1/2 hours(18 min per page) then put the site up, RSS/Bookmark/Digg in 45 minutes…that’s 2 hours and 15 minutes.

    I’m sure everyone has 2h and 15 min in the day to build a decent site they don’t have to think twice about.

    That’s best case scenario, at most it should take 3h.. but if people just worked on their efficiency in their site creation system, and if they were just consistent and built 1 of these a day, they wouldn’t need to think about cutting corners…

    @Bruce

    Hey thanks Bruce :> I’ll be doing some WordPress Mage at the same time, but I’m going to do my best to get out another 50-70 by the end of the year.

    @Sara

    Thanks Sara, ya, CB has been going down lately for me which is frustrating…sometimes it’s 1.6k but its been dipping lower…I feel I can only count on it for a little over 1k, which is why I want to hit 3k/month with Adsense.

    @Bill

    Hey Bill, ya, it isn’t easy…you’ve got to sort out the fakes from the start…I check backlinks through the SEO for Firefox plugin by clicking on “Y! Backlinks” I find that as a cleaner way of getting the data than Yahoo Site Explorer as it omits similar results and you can see the PR of the sites.

    The more you search for domains though the faster you get at picking out the good ones.

    Ya, I guess promoting BH software like that would require some disclaimer. I would look at what other similar sites are doing and do the same..

    @Dee

    Haha, thanks Dee.

    @Deb

    Hey Deb, I haven’t really looked into that…but I do know that I have sites that aren’t listed on page 1 that somehow manage clicks every now and then.

    Some of these sites are not listed in Google but are listed all over in Bing and that may be part of the answer…there’s also Yahoo, although I find Bing is more accepting.

    You know where to find me..

    Oh yes please go over your process soon! 🙂 I have time to create one a day and I really need to get better at the process. Are your posts/pages describing products? I seem to have to put links in the content to amazon. I’m sure that is hurting my adsense clickage tho.

    Hey Mike,

    Great stuff here! It’s really helped me a lot just to see someone step by step building out their network.

    What do you use for analytics on these sites? I’ve been using google but I heard that can be dangerous by giving them too much info about your sites.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks,

    TJ

    Hey Mike,

    It’s been a while since I’ve written, but I’ve been following just about every day. Ran into a bunch of problems with finding other Xfactor sites all over, couldn’t find good keywords, etc. Got frustrated and then fell ill for a while. Just starting to get back into things now, glad to see you have been doing so well!

    Have a question about something you mentioned though.. Bing. How do you get your sites listed in bing? Bing has absolutely no clue my sites I built exist. 🙁

    @TJ

    Hey TJ tnx, ya..if they don’t like your sites, they can check your analytics and find your whole network and de-index them all….I’ve been putting up quality sites though so I’ve been using analytics.

    If you want to track another way, there is Statcounter..

    @ThomasT

    Hey Thomas whatsup? To be honest, I really don’t care if my sites show up in Bing or Yahoo at this point since they mainly get traffic from Google…

    When you build enough sites, you’ll see that some of them get recognized by Bing/Yahoo, while others don’t. Don’t worry about what you have no control over, just focus on following your plan whatever it is..

    Ya, for sure…it’s really a combination of things though that’s pissing me off, that plus my CB income drop…which is why the more income streams you have the better.
