That’s interesting Stacey, but I wouldn’t go changing my strategy based on that.

There are plenty of ways to get your site up and ranked on page 1, pick a system to work and stick with it…backwards engineering what this guy did doesn’t sound like a solid plan to me, as you’ll never know the full story unless you talk to the guy.

I know what you mean about the XF-Type sites being all over the place, usually somewhere on page 1. I’ve been silently bitching about it for a while, but I just put my head down and search for other green long tails.

Since you’ve mentioned seeing all these XF-Type sites, I thought I’d share something I ran across. I found an XF-Type site on page 1 (ok, he’s in position 10, but still page 1 for a highly competitive keyword) that has a, get this, dashed-domain name, and is not that old but is already a PR2. At first I was annoyed, since I had the dot org for the keyword, but I figured I’ll check out how this dude got a PR2 XF-Site with a dashed-domain.

Well, the thing was linkwheeled. And supported by backlinks (based only on what I could see, there could be others google knows about that I can’t see) from a couple of PR2 and one PR3 site. That PR3 backlink was from some religious site (and no, the product was in no way even remotely religious in nature).

I’m not sure how long it took for him to get the dashed-domain site on to page 1, but with a PR2 on a half-ass site (4 pages total, and I swear maybe only 800 words for the entire site), maybe I should look into his approach. I think the domain was maybe 2 months old. What do you think?

Hey Jared…regarding SENuke, I went over my results with it a bit a few days ago..

Apparently I’ll need to wait up to 2 months to see the full results of it(its only been a week or 2). I haven’t made use of the profile nuke, though, just the Web 2.0 properties.

From what I’ve seen so far though, I’m much more impressed with how UAW has affected the rankings than SENuke and the fact that it puts backlinking on autopilot.

Additionally, SENuke isn’t leaving my site with many backlinks noticeable through Yahoo Backlinks, I only see 5-8 backlinks per inner page. This may change given time, but with past experience I know each UAW submission will eventually result in 25-30 backlinks.

And right now, I only see my ezines when I view the backlinks, I rarely see a Web 2.0 property listed from SENuke and if so its just 1. I do see movement and improvement in the search engines for my efforts though…

I like that with SENuke you can get backlinking work done while pretty much relaxing and doing something else..it’s kind of like taking a break from IM while still actually getting work done..however as for the performance, I’d much rather create a backlinking strategy with UAW than SENuke..UAW is yielding better results with many visible new backlinks. Again, this is just my observation at this point.

Thanks for the link and info on human spinner, I knew about them before, saw a video of one guy who was going over an article received from them…the article didn’t have the best grammar though, human rewriter though has excellent grammar and is what I’m using for UAW, but at this time it’s taking longer than usual to get the articles back so that would be another option.

Hey Jason, the time it takes to do the submissions isn’t really a factor to me as since I mentioned before, while it’s going on, you can be doing something else…The creation of Web 2.0 properties and posting up to 1/2 of them and submitting the RSS feeds and Bookmarks I’m guessing takes 1 1/2 hours, I haven’t timed it, especially since I’m doing other things while it’s working in the background.

I’ve run it on 7 sites on the 4 inner pages thus far, haven’t gone over all of them, but I’ve done 25 runs of SENuke…splitting the 30 odd web 2.0 submissions into 2 runs each.

Thanks Jeff…ya, new sites do start earning money, but usually not consistently. They usually pop up every other day or so…I have about 6-8 consistent earners, but they are the older sites.

Ya, my process is to focus 100% on one thing or the other…once I’ve got a good chunk of sites up, I’ll focus on backlinking…it’s easier to stay in the flow this way, but do whatever works for you.

And ya, at the moment I’m not caring about identically themed sites…I’m just interested in getting my sites out there and seeing an increase in income from them…but in the future when I’m making my 4k+/month, I’ll probably look into changing them around and what not, it’s not a major concern for me right now though.

I have a question about the sites you’ve been building. I know your earnings are going up. Are some of these new sites earning consistent money?

I’ve been building two sites per day with backlinking. I’ve never thought about the idea of throwing them up without any article marketing but it’d obviously save me a lot of time.

I hear you on the xfactor sites popping up everywhere. I’ll usually see a few a day when I’m doing my keyword research. Makes me wonder if too many identical looking sites popping up could ever have implications down the line, especially when I see some of these sites that have only 1 page and 100 word articles…have you thought about using a different template at some point going forward? I’ve been giving thought to this, guess I’d just need to get in touch with a designer.

What are your thoughts about SeNuke? I have a free trial and don’t know if I want to keep with the program.

Also, here’s a pretty cool service I have been using to get my articles rewritten by sentence. Plus they deliver it to you in spin syntax. The turn around time is about 2 hours or less. You have the ability to reject sentences that are bad quality and it will automatically resubmit and get rewritten. I don’t have UAW, but this might be a great way to submit to UAW, instead of rewriting by paragraph.

I normally put my article in and get 4 versions of each sentence rewritten. When I plug it into SeNuke it tells me that after checking 16 versions of it, it is 44% unique. I spent $13 on a 400 word article.
