Day 177 – 6 UAW Submissions + Inner Page Is Ranked

October 29th, 2009

Today I did 2 SENuke submissions… I also did another 6 UAW submissions which makes for 10 total.  Each one targets a separate site and builds backlinks for 2 of the inner pages at a rate of 40/day.  A good chunk of the submissions are going out to around 700 sites although I have 1 going out to 427 and another going out to 1423.

A lot of them are going to be taking 14-17 days to finish their submission run…I still have 10 more articles left to use for the other 2 pages for each of the sites, but I’m going to hold off on submitting those and wait and see what happens with this first batch.

Now, one thing that I noticed today was that I finally got one of my inner pages to rank on page 1…It was shortly after doing an SENuke submission on the 27th…it went from position #33 all the way up to #7.  The only thing is I’m not sure why this 1 SENuke submission has had this result for this keyword.

I’m noticing that I’m constantly having new sites pop up and making money and old sites disappearing…it’s kind of frustrating because the daily income stays the same despite the fact that new sites are starting to earn money.  One of the sites that has disappeared was one that I never had to do any backlinking for, but for some reason the day after it was made it ranked #2 and became a top earner for me…not sure when it will return, but now I’ve got to build a few backlinks to it.

So at this point, now that I’ve done all these UAW submissions to 10 of my adsense snipers and I have almost finished backlinking up the inner pages of another 7 adsense snipers via SENuke, I need to figure out what to do next.. While I’m waiting to see what happens with UAW, I think I’ll get a few more Ezines done so I can get at least 12 or so to my newer domains…I also might look into researching for more keywords so that I can start up some more sites.

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $45.52 – 2 sniper sales
  • Hops = 152(new) / 369(old analytics)
  • Adsense = $26.02

    Hmm So would you say the lesson learned is to back link your pages even if they rank right away? Because eventually you will have to do it, right?

    @Sara

    The thing is it didn’t drop in rankings, it dropped right off the map, it’s nowhere to be found on page 1, 2, 3 etc..

    There’s no way for me to know that had I backlinked that wouldn’t happen….

    additionally, had I backlinked early on, I could have lost my placing anyways due to that.

    This doesn’t change my approach at all, if something is ranking without backlinks I will still leave it and work on something else instead. Google is unpredictable…you’ve just got to adapt to whatever happens.

    Okay, I just typed out a long reply and it disappeared.

    Mike, what you’re experiencing is called the “Google Dance.” Which as you can see is named very appropriately. It will take some time but eventually all your sites and their inner pages will stabilize. It is not uncommon for them to completely disappear for a short while then come back, usually a higher position.

    Mike, something that you should be doing is using the RSS submit feature. It will help Google find your linkwheels faster. It will give your linkwheels more juice. Which in turn will pass more link juice to the inner pages of the sites your linkwheels are linking to.

    Something else you should do, is to outsource some social bookmarking to your most profitable sites and their inner pages. If you don’t want to outsource it and don’t mind doing it than you should use an automated or semi-automated tool to do it. I believe you have Demon, don’t you?

    Something else you can do, is to outsource some blog commenting to your profitable sites. There’s a great WSO going on right now. I’m not related to it in any shape or form. It’s right here:

    Hell, you can get 100 backlinks for a mere $10! That’s a great deal. Not to mention, it’s good to vary the types of backlinks you have.

    I agree with your comment here Mike!

    My second XF site was ranked in about 4 days from submitting it. It started at position 5 on page one. It has two total pages of actual content. I haven’t done a single thing except one Digg and it’s at position 3 for the main keyword and is already bringing in some money. Already brought in probably 1/4 of the cost of the domain (my only real cost per site since hosting is prepaid for the next 2.5 years.

    I will finish up adding the content to the site and watch to see if it starts needing backlinks. When it does the google dance I will start doing EZA submissions. Until then, I am happy at the 3rd spot!

    @Clefty

    Nice Clefty, it’s a nice surprise when you get sites like that. The one I was referring to has been up for a month and has already paid for it’s domain 10x over, and I’m sure that with some backlinking, it will eventually settle back to where it was before.

    If that ever happens to you, backlink it, then just keep moving on, building more sites!

    Hi Mike!

    How many sites do you own now? And how many niches are they covering all together?

    I made some sites which never show up on google, just curious, among all of your sites, how many of them ranked well on google and finally turned out to be a profitable site?

    A little tired building new sites…

    @Shane

    Hey Shane, I honestly don’t even know that myself…but I just checked.

    I have 228 domains registered, out of which I probably have around 130-150 CB snipers(a guess, no idea really), 40 adsense snipers and 8 authority sites.

    And as far as how many are ranking and turned out profitable, again, no idea…but that should tell you something right there, I don’t micromanage my sites to that extent. I figure out which sites are doing well based on which sites are generating money for me in my CB and Adsense account. The sites that don’t turn a decent profit, I’ll just let expire in a years time.

    The percentage of your sites that end up successful will go up along with your experience with creating sites though…almost all of my adsense snipers I’ve made have made at least SOME bit of money, but out of them, again this is a total guess since I don’t even track this stuff, I’d say somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of the sites I’ve made are generating regular or somewhat regular income.

    Hey Mike, thank you very much for your answer! Just another question, are there any affiliate networks paying affiliates by paypal?
    Direct deposit is not an option in my country. Usually check will take too long and it’s complicated to get the money finally. I’m considering to find networks other than CB

    @Shane

    Most networks do direct deposit or check, there are some CPA companies that pay by Paypal though like Neverblue and Clickbooth..

    That sucks that you have to deal with those complications, but as long as the checks do finally wind up in the bank, that is something you can work with.. despite it being an inconvenience, at least the money gets to you…

    @Jason

    Damn, Jason sorry, your post got caught in the spam , that’s annoying…I guess I should check that more often.

    Ya, I’ve spoken before on the Google dance, I’ve decided to try and bypass it by just creating another site on the same keyword, see if that ranks as it was too good to wait around for.

    When you’re talking about RSS Submit, are you talking about RSS Nuke in SENuke? If so I’m using that…I’ve submitted 1/2 the RSS feeds for all the Web 2.0 sites…at some point I’ll have to go back and submit the rest.

    Bookmarking Demon has really taken a nose dive recently but I am looking into a new bookmarking tool, in the meantime I’m using SENuke’s bookmarking…hopefully my UAW strategy works out, but if I need more help I’ll look into bookmarking for the inner pages as well.

    I’ve recently had a change in plan and I’m going to be focusing more on site creation than backlinking, but I’ll keep your suggestions in mind, thanks man.

    Alright, I just set something up so that people who have posted in the last 2 months should have their comments automatically approved, hopefully that works.
