Day 156 – Adsense Sniper #28 & #29

October 8th, 2009

Just put up 2 more adsense snipers today…going to be putting up a few more then go and backlink up all the new ones via EZine Articles and figure out what to do next based on the results I see…

It seems like my income is steady at $20/day right now, my income over the last 7 days has been $142.49, if this keeps up this means my monthly total will be around $550-600 for the month in adsense vs. $240 last month.

The only thing is my CB income has gone down since my main product had a change in the sales page which utterly sucks..I averaged out my income starting from today and going back exactly 1 month in Clickbank and it comes out to only $993 NET…normally its closer to $1,500.Β

The main reason for all this is my main product which normally averages $600-$750/month and now looks like it’s around $275 or maybe even lower(counting back a month from today). WTF..Feels like I’m spinning my wheels here!

The frustrations in this IM game…

*Edit* I just sent an email to a competing product asking if they could provide more detailed information on their product and conversions…I won’t make as much if I switch all my sites over, but if it converts well, it may be worth it…it would be a big undertaking though and would suck if it turned out to convert worse, so I’ll see what I get back.

Earnings For Today:

  • Clickbank = $22.08
  • Hops = 151(new) / 320(old)
  • Adsense = $20.73

Mike, even though it seems like a minor set back, you are being set up for a greater come back… πŸ™‚

Since I am not a planimum member, my articles are taking longer to get approved. however once my next set of articles go through i should be at platimum level. I did send up for human rewriter through your link and will begin to use it as soon as I can outsource. will also be signing up for UAW as well before the year is out hopefully.

I got another click yesterday on my adsense xfactor site. its not gettingmuch traffic yet but my clicks have been around 1.20 each…nice!!! can wait to start gettting some traffic through it. once those articles gets approved… im sure i will see a boost as a a result of my rankings boost from the articles.. i will keep writing..

write now I am doing my own original articles and rewrites.

I know you’ve been doing some outsourcing to rewrite articles. I thought you may be interested in this to help cut down on your costs and be more productive:

BTW I’m not related to this product in any way. However, I’ve been following your blog for the past few days. I saw this WSO and immediately thought of you.

Your clickbank issues won’t matter in a couple of months if you keep up this pace. I know it’s frustrating, but you’ve found something that works and doesn’t depend on the landing page of one product.

Anyway, a quick question about your experience so far. I’ve been building up a lot of sites every week and it’s pretty exciting stuff. My revenue is rising almost by the day.

One thing I’ve noticed is that when I’m doing my keyword research, I’ll find keywords that have supposed average CPCs that are really high, only to find that the CPCs I’m getting on the site are still a lot lower than these. I know they’ll always be less on the content network, but they’re still pretty low relative to what you’d think they’d be per my research.

I’m using the same template you are, which ensures just a few ads on each site, so I don’t think it’s a matter of getting less competitive clicks.

Is there any tool you’re using that more accurately tells you what to expect? I’ve still yet to experience the higher average CPCs that I see so many other people talking about. I’m basically using a combo of adwords and spyfu, but still finding my clicks to be valued less than those would indicate.

    Nice Dee!

Ya, it’s crazy how quickly you can see money coming in with this method…

Ya, hopefully I can make up for all this by hitting $100/day in adsense..

Jeff, don’t look at the average CPC….there is usually a range. Even if the range is say $1-$28, that doesn’t mean you’re going to be seeing regular $5 or more clicks, you might wind up getting mostly $0.50 clicks from the advertisers on the lower end of the scale and only see the occasional $4-6 or more click.

I have gone after quite a few keywords that have a high CPC but I rarely see the clicks on the higher end of the scale.

There aren’t any tools that can predict this stuff, who knows how Google chooses to allocate those high paying advertisers…just focus on what you can control..

If you get out enough sites with high CPC you will see more of those large clicks.
