Day 14 – BIG Surprises!

Wow…today was a first for me in a few ways!  For one, I was FINALLY able to get a sale out of Market Health, I couldn’t believe it when I saw a sale in there!  I mean, for the whole of this year I’ve sent 434 hops to 3 of their programs and now I just finally got a sale..albeit for $15.

Aside from that, I’ve noticed that ever since I’ve switched products in the troublesome niche, I’ve been getting sales, in fact, I just got ANOTHER sale for this niche today, which makes 3 sales in the 5 days I’ve been advertising the new product.  The conversion ratio is around 350 hops / 3 sales, so around 1:115…I’ve also noticed that the sites that got the sales actually had pretty good ratios:

1. 29 hops/1 sale

2. 18 hops/1 sale

3. 20 hops/1 sale

The rest of the sites have yet to go over 54 hops total so I decided to lay off revamping the sites.

Another reason I decided to not revamp is due to the promising results I’ve noticed for my latest new sites.  The 2 sniper sites I made yesterday both got quite a bit of hops since going live, 9 and 10 hops for the day…1 of them I just checked a moment ago has now moved to #1 for it’s keyword!  It wasn’t there earlier today…this is a keyword that gets 6.6k searches broad/5.4k phrase/1.9k exact (according to the Google Keyword Tool).  It will be interesting to see how it does tomorrow…The other site that got 10 hops isn’t even on page 1!  It’s #4 on page 2 for a keyword that has 3.6k for broad, 2.9k for phrase and 2.4k searches for exact match.

Another first for me today was that I got *219* hops for the day!

Earnings For Today:

The biggest surprise of all today was that I made $105.47 from 4 sales today in Clickbank!  3 sales for Site #1 at $26.38 each and 1 sale for a sniper site in the troublesome niche(which isn’t too troublesome anymore) for $26.33!

Considering I made $15 in Market Health and $6.40 in Adsense that makes for a grand total of: $126.87.

This is the most I’ve ever made in 1 day.

After all these results, I’ve decided to continue with making new sites…The only thing I need to do now is find more keywords to make sites out of, I’m kind of low on keywords right now.

BTW, as far as what I got done for today, I created 1 more sniper site in the same niche as the 2 sniper sites from yesterday and I began doing some keyword research for future sniper sites.

    Mike,

That is awesome. Do you add in additional lsi keywords to your sniper sites or leave them as they are as they age? Also, when you do backlinking to the sites do you vary anchor text a lot or keep it mostly focused on the phrase?

    Wow, a great day. Congrats!

Thanks for adding the different types of matches for your KWs. I’ll be curious to see if your lower searches by exact are still profitable enough for the effort. I think the Sniper method recommends higher volumes which I found to be difficult KWs to find exact domains for.

That’s awesome, Mike! It’s been so inspiring to watch your clickbank progress.

I have a good hint that I found for finding keywords. Enter the url of your clickbank product page into google adwords in the website content section. The tool will pull up the keywords that google sees for that page..along with the search numbers! Those are great keywords to use!

Rik, thanks man, I’m hoping I can keep my income climbing by continuously building sites :>

Debbie, for my posts, what I do is I do a search with the Google Keyword Tool on the main keyword for the post, then I find out what keywords it brings up underneath. I then try to include as many of those “LSI” keywords listed there in the post as I can so that down the road I can end up ranking for many different keywords.

As far as backlinking, I’ve been using UAW and building backlinks back to the sniper sites with 6 variations of anchor text. If I were to use the backlinking packages from Steve though, I’d only be targetting the main keyword.

NP Carrie, I thought I’d be more clear on that since I’m sure some people are more familiar with seeing exact match over phrase or broad. George goes by phrase match rather than exact when he’s searching for new niches..as I mentioned above, I went for one with only 2.4k phrase match yet it was able to generate 10 hops at around position 7 or 8 yesterday(now it’s #1).

Thanks Donna and Evita, ya, I’d be good if every day was like this…

Jen, no prob. ya, interesting, I remember hearing about that, will look into it..

    Thanks Shelly :>
