Day 130 – XFactor Site Up + 20 Ezines

September 12th, 2009

Joe Rogan on DMT “It’s like mushrooms times a million plus aliens.”

Today I was able to finally figure out all of X Site Pro 2!  Man, that took me a day and a half, but I wanted to make sure I understood ever facet of that program.  I was able to figure out how to get an RSS feed setup and I submitted that to a bunch of RSS directories…I also pinged my site at Ping Goat and bookmarked it with Bookmarking Demon.

Another thing I did was I scheduled some of the posts to post at a future date.  For XSitePro to do this though you need to leave it on otherwise it won’t be able to upload at the time specified.

But now that I’ve figured it out, and I’m being more picky with my niches and I’ve realized I can pump out these Ezines at a good speed, I’m feeling really good about this whole project and it’s ability to earn me some money.

Today I noticed some of my adsense sites have been getting clicks, more than usual…I believe that it’s due to some of my Ezine Articles going live (only 5 ….)

Well, aside from getting XSitePro figured out and putting up a site, I was also able to write up 20 Ezines…I think I’m going to do these in huge batches rather than doing them 12 at a time (12 for each site) since it’s much easier to just pump a bunch out in 1 sitting.

I’ve still only got 5 of my Ezine Articles approved, it’s taking quite a long time even though I’m Platinum, I don’t know whats up with Ezines lately, I submitted some of these articles back on Monday, they’ve gotten lax.

Well, here’s hoping that just pure article marketing can blast these sites to the top…

Earnings For Today:

  • CB = $0
  • Hops = 261(new) / 504 (old)
  • Adsense = $4.73 (Hubs = $2.35) + some $ from 2 of my adsense snipers

    Hello Mike,

Are you using .info or .com for your sniper sites? Do you have any experience using blogger blog as sniper site? Thanks

I’m really enjoying reading your blog Mike. I too use XSitePro and love it. It took me a while to master everything, but once it clicks you realize what a powerful tool you have at your disposal.

You obviously love writing Mike. I wish I could produce as much content as you in a day 🙂

I’ve noticed they are slow too. I am not platinum and my article from 8/31 hasn’t even been looked at yet!

Hey Bob…I never ever use .info’s for anything I want to rank. I used them for a time when experimenting with Niche Devil…but when I want a site to rank, I always go with a top level domain such as .com/org/net.

As far as which one I pick, I mostly go with .org, the reason being that most times the .com is already taken and my second option is .org….3rd is .net. When you’re looking to get a keyword you take what you can get in that order.

I haven’t tried blogger blogs for snipers, wouldn’t want to…anything other than a TLD(top level domain .com/org/net) that is equal to the keyword you’re targeting is not going to be as easy to rank.

Hey Kera, glad you’re liking it . I don’t really like writing, I only do what needs to be done. I can tell you that part of the secret to why I’m able to write so much of these articles for ezines to be used as backlinks is because I’ve picked a niche to write about which:

    1. I know a lot about
    2. I picked a niche that is easy to come up with many, many points for, so I can easily extract around 2-3 points per article

Well, it’s understandable that they’re slow if you’re not platinum, but when you are, they used to get things done in a matter of 3 days…

Mike – my last few submissions took 5-7 days to be approved, even though I’m platinum. I’ve noticed they were a little quicker on ones I submitted earlier this week. Hopefully it’s just been a Labor Day weekend issue with some extra lag as a result, but you’re right, they’ve been slow.

Have you replicated X-Factor’s template in XSitePro?

Wow! Still amazed at how much you are able to get done each day…well done you!

Have you thought about signing up for EzineArticle Premium membership? You look like you are going to be pumping out a lot of articles, so it might be worth it for a few months. Priority in the queue and the ability to schedule your articles – Yummy!

Also, came across a GoDaddy $2.99 .com code today if you feel in the mood to buy more – 299BUYCOM

Looks like the adsense snipers are going to be financially rewarding…good news!

Hah, thanks Darren..The Ezine Article Premium membership is expensive and isn’t needed, as long as my articles are eventually accepted and become backlinks that’s good enough for me.

I have a good feeling about the adsense snipers but I don’t want to jump to any conclusions yet…I still need to get each one making an average of around $3/day.
