Day 115 – 3 SENuke Runs

August 28th, 2009

So today I ran SENuke 3 times on 3 of my niche websites.  Each time I built between 15-18 Web 2.0 sites linking to each other and linking to the main site using 3 variations of anchor text…that’s around 45-50 Web 2.0 properties in 1 day, crazy!

I also submitted 5 bookmarks of the 15-18 properties for each of those 3 SENuke runs, then submitted 1/2 of the RSS feeds for each.

As I mentioned before, at this time I’m only going to be doing 1 run on each of my sites, so there will only be 1 link wheel, no sub-linkwheels just yet.

One of the things I’ve noticed is out of all the Web 2.0 properties, not all of them are do-follow…additionally, not all of them tend to keep the spun content you put on them.

I’ve found that for the purposes of linkwheeling, the do-follow Web 2.0 properties to be used include: quizilla, msn spaces, tripod, webs, friendster, ning, blog.com, vox, blogspot and livejournal.

Then there is another group that is no-follow: Wetpaint, Google Sites, Zimbio, Xanga, Wikispaces, Hubpages (until you reach 75% author score)..

Then…there’s a 3rd group which are sites that may possibly delete the submissions you made: WordPress, Blogger, Wikispaces, Google Knol, Hubpages, Google Sites

Considering this, I do 2 seperate submissions to the Web 2.0 sites, the first one goes out to the do-follow blogs so those end up in a nice linkwheel, then the 2nd to the rest of the sites that are no-follow… I leave these to be link wheel’d too.

The thing about the keywords I’m running SENuke on is they’re probably too high competition for all these Web 2.0 properties to show up on page 1, 2 and 3 of Google and dominate the SERPS….This is why to really see the benefits of this, I’ll probably have to go after some lower competition buying keywords.

In other news, my birthday is tomorrow (the 29th), I’ll be turning 30!..anyone see that Friends episode about Joey making the deal with God to stay 28 forever?

Hah…well,  I did something messed up to prepare for the mental shift which was to go through my 29’s thinking I”m already 30…it didn’t exactly work but at least I still have my good looks!  Strangely, I don’t have plans for my B-day but I have plans to go out on both Friday and Sunday..

Earnings For Today:

  • $0 CB Sales..sales are down lately
  • 256 hops(new) / 468(old)
  • Adsense = $7.29 (Hubs = $3.35, Infobarrel = $0.48)

    Mike happy birthday! Wow you are still so young! My birthday was the 19th and I hit 40 ugh… On my birthday my 19 year old daughter asked me, “So how does it feel to be old mom?” Geez.

    I’ve read wordpress will delete sites used for linkwheels but yesterday I read if you first post a welcome post they leave you alone. I’m not sure if it’s true or not though.

    How long does a linkwheel take to put together with SENuke? The web 2.0 sites you are using that have RSS feeds are you submitting the feeds anywhere? Do you think these link wheels will be more powerful than Paul’s or Angela’s backlins?

    Mike

    I have a question for you that you may be able to answer. I have been trying to track down my income from the Hubs and Infobarrels that I have been making for a while now. I have no idea how to track the income is it possible to find out what they are making?

    Yesterday I had over $20 and today I have already hit over $10 and have no idea where the traffic is coming from. I thought maybe you knew how to check what type of income the Hubs and Info’s are making and could point me in the right direction.

    Thanks

    Happy Birthday! 30 isn’t so bad once you make it through LOL I freaked out leading up to my birthday but was OK once it was over 🙂 Now I am creeping into the middle 30s – GASP!

    I reading your SENuke experience with much interest. I am trying to decide if I have time to use it enough to justify the cost.

    @shelly

    Jealooouss?

    I have a tough time believing anyone saying I’m young, now that I’m practically 30…when I was in my 20’s, ya, I might be able to believe it, not so much now.

    haha, that’s pretty tough having your daughter saying that…to a 19 year old even 30 is old.

    As far as WordPress leaving you alone because of a welcome post, I don’t know about that…I think the best thing is to just not keep it in as part of the main linkwheel to be on the safe side.

    As far as how long it takes to build a linkwheel, first I need to take 45 minutes or so to write a spun article…then I need to create the Web 2.0 properties to be used(5-7min) then I need to paste in the article with the spun title, keywords, domain, then put in the link wheel code at the bottom of the article along with a link to your money site and run that once for the do-follow blogs and again for the rest(15 maybe 20 min)..

    After all that you need to bookmark a few of the sites and submit a few of the RSS feeds (5-7 min for each)

    The GREAT thing about this whole process, and man, I mean REALLY great thing is the automatic captcha solving. I can go do something else while SENuke runs, it’s AWESOME. I Never thought I’d like this feature as much as I do, but it’s great not having to babysit it through all the captchas and it doesn’t even feel like you’re doing work because of it.

    As far as what will do better, link wheels or Angela’s backlinks, I can’t say…The good thing about linkwheels is that if you use them on the right keywords, you can dominate several of the spots on page 1 of google though…also with SENuke, you can do both now that there’s a Profile Nuke.

    @Susan

    Hey thanks Susan :> About tracking, I answered that in this comment: http://mikeiser.com/day-111-next-steps#comment-1404

    You can also add a channel for hubpages or infobarrel so that clicks will register under each domain when within your adsense settings by going to “adsense setup – channels” and putting in “hubpages.com” or “infobarrel.com”.

    @Bruce

    hah, thanks Bruce! Ya, I gotta go start working out a lot more now that’s for sure.

    @Sara

    Well, that’s good to know…maybe I’ll skip the mid 30’s if the world ends in 2012 :> I think if you’re going to use something like SENuke you HAVE to make it a part of your main plan and use it very regularly…

    @Stacey

    Stacey thanks :> I’ll still try and squeeze out some work the next few days..

    And thanks Sara and Rob!

    Oops didn’t check the blog yesterday.

    Happy B-day Mike!!! Your early 30’s are going to be some of the best in your life. For me – met my wife, got my design agency off the ground and generally had a blast hanging with friends. Wishing you all the best.

    Haaa! Hell yeah I’m jealous! When you hit the 40’s or even the late 30’s you’ll realize how young you were at 30. 😀
