<a href="#comment-4091" rel="nofollow">@Mohamed</a>

Hey Mohamed..

A sniper site is a site that targets a specific keyword.

So if you're trying to rank for a keyword that gets 3k exact searches a month that is called "brown piano chair", you would register the domain "brownpianochair.com" or .org or .net.... By doing this, your site is given a bit more favor in Google to rank well for that term, provided the 1st page competition is low.

That's just the basics of it. There are Clickbank snipers for selling informational products and there are adsense snipers for getting adsense revenue...right now I'm doing the latter, it's explained in the XFactor Micro Niche Adsense book which is linked to in the side bar.

And a backlink is when another site is linking back to your site via a hyperlink, such that when that link is clicked, it redirects to the site.

If you want to improve your rankings for say the word "brown piano chair", you need to create backlinks on other sites which link back to your website with the anchor text being "brown piano chair".

Nice Chris :> My CB strategy was based on Google Sniper, the program George Brown created...If you read that, that will pretty much tell you how I set up all my CB sites.

Hey Mike,

I just discovered your site and it's been an amazing journey so far! I went all the way back, hoping to see how you got started in CB because I am interested in your CB strategy but alas, from day 1, you had your CB stuff set up already.
If you wouldn't mind sharing, is your CB based on niche sites as well?
If so, do you put up generic articles on the topic and then put up CB banners or does your website copy speak directly and recommend the CB product itself?

Thanks!

<a href="#comment-2106" rel="nofollow">@William</a>

Hey Will,

What I do when using Bookmarking Demon is I have several accounts setup at each bookmarking site so that each time I do another run, it randomly picks one of those accounts to submit to..and at this point, I don't do much bookmarking, I only bookmark my new sites for the purposes of helping them get indexed fast and maybe get 1 or 2 registered backlinks in Yahoo backlinks.. I don't bookmark every page, although some people do that.

I use Digg to bookmark the homepage, it gives you a high PR backlink that helps with indexing as well as ranking. You don't want to abuse Digg by digging more than that, they will ban your account, you have to be careful with Digg.

About putting in the msnbc/yahoo feed, that is a feature of bookmarking demon, you'd need to have the program to understand it. It basically submits a random bookmark from one of those feeds along with the sites you're bookmarking so that the bookmarking appears more natural. So you don't just have bookmarks for curing hemroids, and your forex site or whatnot, but also some random news item bookmarks as well.

In BMD 4, you go to preferences, and then there's an option to pull from feeds, you just paste the feeds in there. This tip is only if you have BMD. I would never do manual bookmarking submissions myself, so I can't recommend that.

As far as Friendfeed and Profilactic, all you need to know is that you can enter your feeds in there and they will provide your site with some nice powerful backlinks that register in Yahoo Backlinks pretty quick and can help get your site indexed and ranking faster/higher.

Hi Mike,

I have some questions.

You mentioned bookmarking 2-3 sites at a time. If lets say you bookmark 3 sites a day using 1 account, at the end of 10 days you will have 30 sites (similar templates except the domain is different) inside a bookmark account? Just wondering if 30 sites with similar templates inside one bookmarking account is ok.

Do you digg the domain homepage only or all the pages? Is the purpose of submitting to digg same as bookmarking at social bookmarking sites?

Do you bookmark all the pages of your sites?

You mention about using Bookmarking Demon to pull a feed to digg / msnbc and yahoo feed. I do not understand how to do this step. I am not using bookmarking demon, is there a way to do this step manually?

What is the purpose of Friendfeed and Profilactic? I looked at FriendFeed tour, and it seems like a rss reader, I do not exactly understand what it does. Do you mean using FriendFeed to subscribe to the feed of my own sites?

Thanks

<a href="#comment-1608" rel="nofollow">@Lonnie</a>

Hey Lonnie, well, you don't get sandboxed for bookmarking..

What I do for bookmarking though is I use Bookmarking Demon and I create 3+ bookmarking accounts at each of the sites...they have an automated account creator which makes this easy...Then once I have that I bookmark 2-3 sites at a time and I usually don't bookmark more than 9-10 sites a day.

By doing this I stay under the radar. Sometimes you lose some bookmarking accounts, but I don't worry about that. I haven't bothered doing any bookmarking through proxy as I've found this method of staying under the radar and spreading out your bookmarks over several accounts works for me.
